I remember going to this place when it was in Bronson- it wasn't clean, and the ribs and sides weren't that great. I never went back again. After that, BubbaQue's moved to Williston- I never been to that one. I see they went out of business- I won't miss it, because I would never go back after trying it in 2015. RIP, BubbaQue. read more

We used them to cater a family event in Williston for 50 people and everything went perfectly. I am a Texan BBQ snob and I was very pleased with all the meat! We ordered ribs, brisket and chicken and they were all delicious. I think the ribs were the crowd favorite tho! Also pleasantly super by the green beans - I was expecting the mushy ones you usually get at BBQ restaurants but these were fresh and crisp! I will say we ordered for 50 people and had way too much food leftover so maybe scale back a bit. However no one complained about eating the leftovers for three days after! read more

Something like a three from me. Hospitality's easily a four or more. Kitchen was slow. They're okay, alright. Overall the food's good with some ups and downs. Brisket looked delicious but was sort of dry. Chicken was the same. I could see where a lot of people might complain given the money. Salad bar was good and I liked that it included a few warm sides even though the baked chicken and chili were bland. Same for the tuna and chicken salads. So there's no iceberg lettuce ...but there's spinach, lettuce blend, and romaine if that works. I prefer iceberg. Also, many of the ingredients were just too big, too thickly chopped or were a very large dice; not sure why but I'm guessing a lazy prep. Should also say it was almost impossible to reach items along the back row without making out with the sneeze guard or ducking under it. Quack! Sweet tea was really good. We ordered a pound of brisket and a large side of baked beans take out on 10/11/24. When we opened food it smelled and tasted a bit off. It looked horrible, fatty and thick cut. We ate a little but my husband started feeling sick and I got really sick later in the night. Obviously we are going to throw leftovers out. We live paycheck to paycheck so this hurts. We had hoped to have leftovers during weekend. Very disappointed. Btw - we did warm food on high heat and shredded meat in order kill any bacteria and make meat less chewy yet we still got sick on just a few bites. read more

This is my third and last visit to BubbaQue's. There are way better BBQ restaurants than BubbaQue's in the north Central Florida area. This place is in needs to be refreshed. Everything is old and worn out from the paint to the ragged menus. The food was mediocre at best. Portions are over exaggerated on the menu and the food is definitely not fresh. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I walked in and the restaurant was basically empty. I waited and waited along with another man who got disgusted and left. Finally this girl came and I had already decided I just wanted to get my food to go. So she took my order during which she was very rude. First notable thing is the service. We came in with a party of eight and the server was super friendly and quick to respond. I had the Big Bubba dinner plate with pulled pork, a quarter chicken, Mac and cheese, and fried okra for $13.99. Everything was served hot. My favorite was the pulled pork and the Texas toast. The Texas toast was really good, I complimented the toast to the server and she mentioned that the toast was scratch made in house and they also have 6 or 7 bbq sauces to choose from. I had no problems with parking and the interior is quaint with a country style decor. Walls were decorated with farm tools, license plates and vintage signs. I went to bubbaques a few days ago and was given the worst service by a she man named jocelin. She was one of the slowest servers I've seen in the history of restaurant business. As she set my plate in front of me. I could smell her bo off of her shirt. What an utterly disgusting stench of a person. She walked with a limp so it took her a few to get to the table. Very cute barbecue restaurant with really good barbecue sandwiches. We tried both the cheddar cheese brisket sandwich and the original pork sandwich. Both were great! Lots of home made sauces to choose from with very good service. No complaints and definitely would come back. read more

The servers were 3 insolent snots. They were dismissive and rude. They never cleaned the table of used plates and when we asked for our server the girl was a rude snot. My husband insisted on tipping I wouldn't have left anything. There were 3 kids making a lot of noise, fighting and then crying by the ice cream box. What a great surprise. I've been riding past here for a while and they posted a sign for the salad bar so we stopped in. One of the nicest salad bars around and they had great Chili and soups and also had ribs on the buffet. Kayla was our server and did an outstanding job. Food was terrible. If I wanted dry leftovers I could have gone to golden coral for better flavor and price. We had funnel cake fries, (2) 2meat dinner meals with the bbq chicken, pound wings, pulled pork, Texas brisket, with bubba (Texas toast) bread, fries, onion rings, mac and cheese, baked beans. If we had a savior in this meal, it would be hands down the funnel cake. I could order these on my death bed and be happy. This was the worst dining experience I have ever have. We are visiting from Pennsylvania and were told this would be a good place to eat. Our waitress never gave us straws until we asked for them and our cups have lids so obviously we needed straws. When our waitress came to take our order she was rude and straight up just asked " are you ready to order" with major RBF. Our waitress never came back to our table. We asked 3 different people for sweet tea, finally someone took our cups and rolled her eyes when she took them. We kept getting unsweetened and then still never got our sweet tea after 30 minutes. My husband ordered brisket and it was so dry, it looked as if it had been sitting out for 4 days. They did bring him something else so that's why they are getting 1 Star.
