Las Micheladas, while technically located in Ocala, is really up the road from Ocala in Bitchton... but they don't have a post office, so Ocala it is. Sitting on US27 halfway between Ocala and Williston, the restaurant sits on the Southwest side of the road. If you are heading Northwest on US27, it is a bit of a pain to get to as there is no access across the dual carriageway, and you have to go up the road a quarter mile to do a U-Turn. Same goes for leaving the place to continue heading Northwest. Once you are in the parking lot, be on the lookout for cats. There is at least one that hangs around, so please don't run them over! Also, on the north side of the parking lot is some dirt parking, but beware of that if it has rained recently. I saw a truck almost get stuck in there trying to get out. There is a front porch with a number of tables and chairs, so outdoor seating is available. I took full advantage of it this weekend as it was a gorgeous day out. Inside is seating as well, obviously. Looking over the menu, they have an extensive list of items. I went for the quesadilla which comes with rice, beans, and salsa, and also a burrito. Chips and salsa are also served when you get your drinks. The quesadilla I had was decent. I am not sure which cheese they used in it, but it seemed thicker than the Mexican cheese I am accustomed to seeing on quesadillas from restaurants like this. It seemed almost to be a Monterey Jack. It was still tasty, mind you, but the cheese in it seemed a bit thick. Next up was the burrito. Here, I made a mistake... not in ordering too much food (I knew it was too much food, and it would be going home in a doggy bag) but in ordering it wet, which means it comes with a red tomato based sauce and cheese. The cheese was fine, but the red sauce... oh dear... it needs work. A lot of work. It was basically just straight tomato sauce out of a can. No seasoning, no modification to change it from the droll canned stuff to something unique and enjoyable, just... blech. The burrito itself was good, mind you, but with this sauce on it it became something that was just not palatable. I packed it away in a styrofoam container, scraping as much of the sauce off of it as possible, and hopefully when I tackle it at home I will be able to eliminate that sauce properly. The prices are right for the amount of food you get, I will say. There just seem to be some things that you may want to avoid. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. 4 parties when we entered, waitress more and interested in seating people than service. finally ordered and bailed after waiting 45 minutes for food. But if you get something from the bar they are quick. So go to drink and never to eat. Too many choices to be this bad. read more

I've been here a couple times, I'm a huge taco fan so that's usually what I go for. I tried tacos de lengua they are super delicious and fresh. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. Service can be a little slow but not to the point where it's an issue. It's more of them giving you space to enjoy your food. Overall it's a good place for lunch it's not noisy inside. read more

Our first time here and the food was fantastic. Portion sizes were really great for the price of the food. We also had queso that isn't shown in a photo which was really delicious. There wasn't a single thing we had that we didn't like. Our server was also very attentive, filling our drinks and getting us more chips without asking. This place hit every mark and we left happy & full. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be back! read more

I'm glad I finally got to eat at this restaurant; there aren't a lot of options in or near Fellowship to eat out, and this place had been a short-lived bbq restaurant that was defunct for a few years. The food is excellent and the menu has lots of items that it will be fun to explore over hopefully many meals to come. It's right on 27 so there can be some traffic but it's still nice to sit on the porch and enjoy a margarita with some guac and chips while you await your main course. read more

The first time I got the taco/shell salad and was under impressed with size, quality and price. Recently went back and ordered the steak fajitas for $14+. The steak strips were served on a cold plate and maybe had enough meat to feed a hamster. Two small slivers of tomatoes and 1/10th of a green pepper was sliced. And I think I saw two onion slices. The 2 tablespoons of refried beans and maybe a whopping of 2.5 tablespoons of rice were accompanists. 3 super small tortillas, corn, are s joke. In fact, this lunch, on my birthday no less, was giving this lackluster place another chance. It was a MAJOR fail. Rarely do I give less than average reviews, but this was a tragedty. Taco Bell rules compared to this horrendous meal. Go to Ocala and actually get way better food for the price. Such a disappointment. read more

Overall, good. Had a taco salad which should come with beans. They left the beans off, but brought some when she came back to check on me (food was over half gone). But once it was all there, it was very good! Chips & salsa very good! Service was ok... Not great, not terrible and not rude, but not the friendliest. It was ok... rushed and down to business. If atmosphere is important to you, it's just a wide open room with tables & is bland. (Like eating in cafeteria). However, the front porch is very nice, but very limited seating. If all you care about is the food, then definitely go. Mine was very good once I had it all. read more

Tacos al pastor is the best in Ocala. Tacos de lengua are sublime. cold beer, great prices, friendly staff.

Great pit stop off the beaten path while traveling. Food was delicious, cerveza was cold, and the wait staff was friendly and quick. The bathrooms and restaurant were clean. If you're traveling with pets there is a grassy parking area for a break and tables for front/outside dining. After passing only fast food venues coming down US27 for 5 hours, it was amazing to see a sit down dining option that looked inviting. My husband got a wet chicken burrito and the chicken was moist and tasty. I got a shrimp, steak and Al pastor taco and I couldn't decide which one was best. We wanted to try this place out as we pass by it on HWY 27 twice a week on our way to Gainesville. We showed up a few minutes before 11am (when they open) and waited until a couple minutes after 11 to try to enter since no one was yet flipping their open sign on. The waitress was nice and apologized that they were running a few minutes behind. This was not a problem since we understand sometimes this happens. They have a pretty extensive menu at first glance. I ordered fajitas that came with rice and beans, my daughter had a kids quesadilla, and my girlfriend had a trio of beef enchiladas. First she had ordered the ones with verde sauce but the waitress explained that these were very spicy so she opted for red sauce. Normally verde sauce isn't hot so she was a little bummed out that here this was the case. We received our food and began eating. My fajitas meat and veggies tasted good. Not as much food as I'm used to for the price but that's ok. My girlfriend began eating and told me that her ground beef was really over cooked and hard. She also said that the sauce on top tasted like watered down tomato paste. She offered me a bite and yes that's pretty much how I'd describe the flavor. It was all extremely bland. She only partially finished this enchiladas. We also began to notice as we ate that neither our rice or beans were warm. They were in fact pretty cold. All in all we won't come back. It was too terrible to really even bother complaining. If this is the food their serving then they clearly don't have a clue what's decent. I live in the neighborhood across the street... And I notice that the parking lot is always full! Now I know why! The food that we ordered for take out tonight was absolutely delicious! We shared the seasoned burrito (wet) and the shrimp. Simply fantastic... So much for my New Year diet resolution! And right down the street!!! Oh my! Does not deserve the last 2 reviews, or maybe they changed something since. But very friendly and nice staff I came on a Monday after work so not to busy I had a chicken chimichanga, everything was fresh and very good. Will definitely be back in the future, thank you to the staff for a very pleasant experience. read more
