Nail designs are crisp & exactly what you ask for so have no fear going with an abstract inspo pic. Literally massages the same place over and over on the leg. The mask was a joke. The polish I chose was a pink and she put two coats on and I'm outside looking at them and they're so thin I can see the white of my toenail which you shouldn't see with decent polish. Done she just gets up and walks away and doesn't say to stay so long or help you back on with your sandals. I'm not coming back here anymore.

Coming in from Chicago and just wanted to get here so I left without getting my toes polished. I decided to get my toes polished here and support the black lady bad idea again!!! I asked for a simple polish change with regular nail polish, she states we don't have regular nail polish. We only do gel. I said to her, I will go across the street and purchase regular nail polish because I don't want to deal with the jail. I'm old school and if it's not broke, I don't fix it. She then magically comes up with regular nail polish, which she picked from a wall. There were no samples of pinks for me to choose from. She looked at the pink on my toes and try to match it. The pink was off by a few shades. No lining for the foot tub no toe separators so the polish of one toe kept sticking into my other toe. She put me under three different lights put on 56 different coats of polish now I've been getting my toes done for a while and this doesn't seem like regular nail polish Time to go ready to pay I asked what's my total she said $35 I said for a polish change that sound like gel prices. The owner then chime in and says no it's not. I know what you mean about the gel I don't like gel either. Faker than a $3 bill. I woke up the next day and I was missing polished from my whole toenail so I go back in ask the nail tech to call the owner. She did not wanna be bothered. The nail tech was on the phone while fixing what her coworker screwed up. The front of the place say.zin nails wow they are running a whole beauty salon in the back with hair, braiders and hairstylist. That's probably not license, but I will call the state cosmetology board and check into it.. Yin arrived around 12:20 and immediately started my toes. In the middle of my service, a white woman walked in at 12:35 for her 12:30 appointment, and another nail tech walked up to me (the only Black woman in the shop) and asked if Yin could stop my service and service the other woman. Dumbfounded, I felt backed in a corner and said yes. This turned into me sitting with my toes half done for nearly 25 minutes before I finally decided to just leave. The nail technician that stopped my service seemed to care less. Yin was apologetic but at this point it meant nothing. In response to the owners reply: Try closer to 10 times. I mentioned my experience to a nail technician at another shop and he was bewildered along with the clients sitting next to me. I'll be sure I include your response in my TikTok video.

There were a few errors/missed spots that she fixed when prompted, but there was one spot where the gel made a sharp bump, which she did not redo. I'm not generally opposed to making conversation, but I felt uncomfortable because she kept asking a lot of personal questions, repeatedly attempted to give me marital advice (basically: clean up, shut up, cook, and look pretty), and pressured me for repeat business. We were prompted greeted by Tina and shown around the spa and to our lockers. In the ladies locker room area, there are showers, a sauna, and a steam room. We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.
