Had the sirloin dinner for 2. The steak was of good quality along with the mash potatoes. The salad bar was average and could've had a better variety of sides. read more

4 stars for the value. It's not a nice place by any means and the salad bar is not really helping anything but for a 9-13 dollar steak, it's really pretty tasty. The steaks are tender and cooked properly to order. The ice cream is actually really tasty too. read more

I'm a Texan and know good steak... This place has the best food I have eaten in my 26 years of life! Going back Wednesday!

This is good comfort food to the extreme! This place is how you show yourself you love you. The feel good food for lubbock. This steak may not win any awards but at these prices who cares? read more

On our way from Colorado to San Antonio, TX. This restaurant came highly recommended by the front desk of the hotel we're staying in, and it didn't disappoint. The food was GREAT and the service exceptional! Don't know about the bathrooms, since we didn't use them. And yes, you had better bring cash or at least your check book, because they don't accept debit or credit cards. But my goodness ... next time we come this way, we'll be eating here again. BTW, i had ordered the Southern Bell steak and my husband ordered the Sirloin with baked potato. The salad bar was included, so was a garlic toast and an ice cream cone. All I can say is, try it; you won't be disappointed. Both thumbs up for this place. read more

Love this place. I've been coming here for years. If you want great steak at a reasonable price then this is the place.

I was very skeptical when we pulled in. The business was not that busy, but within 15 min, it was hopping. The prices are great, the salad bar had all the normal fixing, and you get a ice cream cone when you're done. They only take cash, so know before you go!. The steak was good and that was another surprise when you look at their prices. When you order a steak you get a potato with it, besides the salad bar. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Amazing steaks and even better customer service!!! The prices are so affordable and it's in such a great environment. We love it here!!!

Disgusting! It gets one star because it is cheap and affordable for large families and college kids. But that's really all the good I can say. I'm amazed that the health department hasn't shut them down! Flies swarmed the salad bar...not just one or two. ..so gross. We ordered ribeyes but they were very fatty and definitely the lowest grade of beef. We were just driving through town and stopped based on the Yelp rating...hope I can save someone else from the same awful experience! read more

For the price, I had a very good steak and a pretty darn good salad bar. Food was served quickly and hit the spot

Best place in the wold for a great steak and salad bar. There is nothing you can't find on the salad bar. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Did I mention they have ice creme cones when you are finished eating so you can fill in any empty places left in your stomach! read more

The layout is like the old Western Sizzlin complete with giant cow out front. Be warned they do not take credit cards, only cash or check. Great salad bar that comes with every meal. Salad bar has fried Okra, Hush Puppy sticks, Potatoe Salad, etc... You can make a meal out of the salad bar alone. Steak was great, tender and I was really full by the time i left. read more

Driving through Lubbock, we got a craving for a chicken fried steak. Well, don't expect a hand breaded chicken fried steak here at this place. It's frozen and breaded reminded me of Dairy Queen's steak finger basket. Great customer service by the whole staff. read more

Moved to San Antonio 14 years ago and still have to come back to Lubbock to get us some Bryan's!!

To say I eat here a lot would be a huge understatement. It might not be for everyone but I love the Western Sizzling atmosphere. It's not like eating a $50 steak, but it is always great and definately the best steak for the $$ read more

The employees you encounter are nice. Salad bar is good. Ordered a Medium Rare steak and I received it cook all the way through. I didn't mention anything, and some how the cook wanted to know how our steaks were. So I spoke up and sent it back. Fifteen minutes later I get a steak back and it looks good. I cut into it and it is literaly cold on the inside. They just seared the outer perimeter of the steak. The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a Steak House in this state. Do not visit Bryans Steakhouse. read more

Service: Top notch! Everyone is friendly. Atmosphere: The type of place you would expect! Rustic and homey. Food: Five stars! Great food!

I had the sirloin steak and it was good. The ice-cream was awful but I liked the salad bar.

A well done steak is hard to make tender. My steak was well done yet I could cut it with my fork. Excellent flavor and the price can't be beat. read more

I was so looking forward to going to Bryan's steak house as I had not been there since moving back to Lubbock. What a BIG disappointment. My Hubby's steak was half gristle and fat.....disgusting. My steak was more rare than done. Rolls were hard like a brick literally. The salad bar was good except beans were not cooked all the way, they were hard. No lemons today for water or tea. Men's rest room was a health hazard according to Hubby . We won't be going back there. So disappointed. We went Sunday August 26, 2018 at 11 am read more

Bryans steakhouse is the best place to eat. The steak is very tender easy to cut and eat. The steaks need no sauces to be great. My husband and I really love it. The salad bar is great also. The salad is fresh and good. A good selection of food, like green beans, cornbread sticks, fried okra, beets, mixed salads etc. I recommend it to everyone who loves steak, naked potato or fries and salad. read more

Cheap price, but really the only thing you need is the salad bar. Not your average meal, but I left satisfied.

this is one of my favorite steak houses so far.. we travel a few times a year and we love to eat, as do most people . so I recommend this place for a great steak and salad bar. ...for around $25 you can get a big steak for two and salad bar it's worth the price. cash only read more

Love to get steak at Bryan's! When 5 adults can have steak for under $60 and the steak is tender and tasty, who can complain. Love the cornbread sticks from the salad/veggie bar. read more

Best steak house in Lubbock huge cow in the front cannot miss it. Parking lot is a pain but once you get inside and order it's worth it! It's sort of like a cafeteria line to get your drinks and order you grab a tray ask for your drinks then look at the menu board and order then pay and you get your number. They have a salad bar which is pretty good but the food is even better! I always tend to get the chicken breast sandwich, cheese burger, or fried fish plate with a baked potato never fries. I have never had a problem with my food its always hot and fresh! Here is a good stop to eat the employees are very friendly and communicate with you very well. Will recommend anytime to anybody! read more

This place was recommended from my arrival at the airport thru others checking in at the hotel. Too bad no one mentioned they apparently don't take credit cards! Or at least they don't want non-locals who don't know better than to believe the signs posted several times between the door and the counter. Wonder if the food would have been worth the trouble to get cash? read more

My family went to bryans steak at 50th st,well after 20 mins and complaining we finally got me and wifes food, but sons was another 10 mins.the manager appoligized and gave us a gift certifacate but that was too llong for food, also it wasnt very crowded either. So if you go let them know afterwards if you was happy with service. read more

We ate at Bryan's Steaks today. Have gone there for years. Today after we had paid, sat down, and were eating we were asked to get up and pay for my 1 1/2 year old grand daughter. I was livid. She had some cheese and a few tomatoes off of my plate. We paid the $3 and finished our meal but will never go back again. Personally I've always thought the salad bar was gross. read more

This place is one of our favorite places to stop at in Lubbock for a steak. The steaks are always juicy, cooked to perfection, and never have to use a steak sauce. The salad bar has plenty varieties to choose from. Plus you get free ice cream to top it all off. All this is served up with a great staff tending to you. Just remember to bring CASH!!! No cards used that this place but it's all worth it at an affordable price. read more

I used to love to come here for a good steak and reaonable price, but this time I was so very disapointed. The wait so long, the steak not cook right and taste terrible. read more

Really nice people and definitely a friendly atmosphere. As for the food, it's pre made elementary school cafeteria food. We had the chicken fried steak and it was just awful. Worst 20 dollars spent on a lunch we have spent in a long time. The entire look of the place is very deceiving considering that it looks like a old family restaurant that would have delicious home cooked meals. The building is a basically a shell of lies for microwaved bullshit food. read more

Eat there when I was in Lubbock last with my Mother and loved the steak and salad bar.

Old school but don't pass this place up.Full size ribeye with potato, salad bar, pintos, green beans, okra and more for 14 bucks. Down fall is no booze and no credit cards. read more

my self and four frends went to eat at bryans steak house last night ,aug.5,2011. We were treated very badly by the waiters. they were rude, and not wanting to help us.two of our orders were not cooked right. we sent one back to recook, and they cooked it wrong again. We ask to speek to the manager, he was very rude also and spoke to one of the ladys at our table like he could care less if we ate there or not. In this time and age you would think people would want your buisness. The manager they have running the buisness does not know what he is doing........ we will never eat there again......... read more

Very old school set up as you order when you walk in. No description of size or cut of steaks for a new customer on the menu posted on the wall. When we asked the cashier the size and cut of the steak she was rude and short with her response. However the salad bar, steaks and the price made up for the rude cashier. read more

Ive been going here for years and have yet to have a bad experience. I normally get the southern belle or the ground sirloin special. You get a baked potato, 1/2 ground sirloin, and salad bar for like around $7....thats hard to beat! To the people on here rating this place one star....youre fauly was going into this place expecting a $50 double nickle steak not including sides. Dont get me wrong, bryans steaks are good too, but you can only expect so much for a $9 ribeye. read more

I'd like to give them 5 stars, but something happened that was so gross that I cannot. We ordered the sirloin steaks and it was excellent. Very moderately priced and loved the environment. It reminds me of my Bonanza days as a kid. The salad bar is really good and fresh. All of the staff is very friendly and polite. They brought a drink refill and checked on us a couple of times. Here is the gross part. A young male teenager (Sunday 8/19) was clearing the tables. There was a mess on the floor from the customers that just left. He took the table cleaning towel, put it on the spill on the floor, pushed it around with his foot, and then put the towel back in the water bucket. He rinsed it out and then wiped the table. I tried to discretely bring this to the attention of a supervisor, but I couldn't find anyone running the place. Lots of staff, but no supervision. I'm not sure I can go back, but otherwise everything was excellent. read more
