Cheeseburger - A cheeseburger featuring a shiny, toasted bun, a beef patty, a slice of melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato is presented in a basket lined with paper. Next to the burger, there are several tater tots, which are golden and crispy. The image captures the food on a wooden table, emphasizing casual dining.

Stopped here on our way out of Lubbock. We had burgers, and they were awesome!! The patties were huge. Freshly made with all the toppings. Tater tots were good, but the onion rings were fantastic. Hubby added bacon and green chilies and the onion rings to his. I just had a standard cheeseburger. Our server was very sweet, and everyone there was friendly to us. The only complaint I have is they allow smoking and the floors were a little dirty, but I think they had just gotten over their lunch rush and hadn't had time to pick up. They also have all the home cooking choices plus some Mexican food. Stop here and support small business on your way into or out of Lubbock!! It's good, home cooking.

Perhaps the best Steak Fingers in Texas. No kidding. They are that good.

Coming through Lubbock and thought we missed the good food-- little did we know we were about to find the best grub in town!

Wowza - what an experience !…read more La Diosa is one of those places that immediately pulls you out of whatever mood you walked in with and drops you somewhere entirely different--in the best way. From the moment you step inside, it feels less like a restaurant and more like an old-world café, wine cellar, art gallery, and lounge all layered into one eclectic, soulful space. The interior is stunning and thoughtfully chaotic in a way that works: exposed beams, hanging lanterns and star lights, rich colors, Frida-inspired art, mismatched tables, velvet chairs, communal seating, tucked-away corners, and rooms that feel like they were meant for lingering conversations. Every turn gives you something new to look at, whether it's a massive art installation overhead, a wall of wine, or a cozy lounge setup that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Food-wise, tapas and paella are the stars here. This is the kind of menu that encourages sharing, ordering a few things, sipping wine, and letting the night unfold. The chalkboard sign lets you know what they're proud of--and it shows. Pair that with their wine selection and you're set. There's also live music on certain nights, which fits the space perfectly. After a certain hour it shifts into a 21+ vibe, and it truly feels like the place comes alive in the evening--dim lighting, music, conversation, and that intimate, almost transportive energy. La Diosa isn't rushed, flashy, or trying to be trendy. It's warm, artistic, and unapologetically itself. Come here when you want an experience, not just a meal. It's ideal for a date night, a long catch-up with friends, or anyone who appreciates atmosphere just as much as what's on the table.

Service was absolutely fabulous--attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged. Food came out…read morequickly, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is eclectic and interesting. Now to the food and beverage side. The menu offers wine only, which isn't ideal, but I understand that's a choice every owner has to make. The meatballs were clearly pre-made and then reheated in the Marsala sauce. They were overly salty, and the sauce itself lacked balance it leaned heavily acidic, almost vinegary, without the richness you'd expect. The "Barcelona" pizza was solid, but again, shortcuts were noticeable. The crust was clearly pre-made. I appreciated the heat, but overall the flavor profile was fairly flat.Best thing I had was freshly baked bread it was fresh and tasty. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food execution didn't quite live up to it.
