A friend recommended this Tapas restaurant because he graduated from Tech & we really enjoyed it! We were a bit concerned getting here because coming from Houston, downtown was very quiet but once we came in, it is a beautiful place with a warm ambiance! We loved the live music, although they do charge $3.10 per person for the music but it all goes to the musicians, the sangria was great & all the tapas & dessert were great! My favorite was the Margherita pizza! I would definitely recommend it!

Bread and oil is always a win - Slices of bread are arranged on a round wooden serving board, accompanied by a small dish of olive oil with black truffle. The setting includes a glass of water, a wine glass, and a metallic container, suggesting a dining environment. The bread appears freshly baked, and the presentation emphasizes simple, rustic cuisine.

As soon as you enter La Diosa, you leave Lubbock. It's an old school gorgeous charm that takes you to a different place! While everyone around me was drinking their popular sangria, I opted for a bottle of sparkling rosè for about $35, and it was great. A great brunch choice! Worthy tapas: - Sylvana's Queso: The fresh garlic pieces mixed with sweet onion and artichoke hearts blended nicely for a strong taste. You can easily pick out the artichoke chunks to eat if someone at your table doesn't want them. - Risotto mí Lalita: Mushroom risotto for the win!! It's also closer to a regular meal size than tapas, so it's plenty to eat. - Sliced baguette: You cannot go wrong with this bread and oil combo. - Padrón peppers: Shishito peppers were grilled nicely and not spicy. They were too easy to eat!! Make a reservation online and go try it! They sell McPherson wines, and it was fun to eat here then go across the street to visit the McPherson tasting room as well. Their individual private restrooms are nice too. It's nice to see unique places like this in Lubbock!

Such a cute restaurant and everything was amazing! They also have some artwork and decor available for sale. One of my favorite places now!

My friend wanted to try this tapas place in Lubbock after we spent the day wine tasting. It was super quirky and gave off antique/vintage store vibes. We ordered the roasted potatoes, paella, empanadas, bruschetta, and meatballs. The least impressive dish was the potatoes, didn't have much flavor. The most impressive dish was the paella which was jam packed with different textures and colors. Everything was beautifully plated and very pleasing to the eye. The tables were tiny here and close together. When we got up to go to the ladies room we had to squeeze thru just to get there. The three of us had no elbow room or table room for all our dishes. Over all, good food experience and great service. Our waitress was from Amarillo which is where my friend lives and very friendly to us.

Absolutely stunned that I've never been here before. This truly is Lubbock's hidden gem. The atmosphere, service, and food were all phenomenal. It didn't feel like we were in Lubbock. This is a place where you eat multiple tapas, basically a series of shareable appetizers. They were all delicious and paired well with the wine. I want to emphasize how wonderful our waitress was. I'm wishing that I could remember her name, so that she could get the credit she deserves. Who would've thought that a beautiful restaurant with fresh, flavorful food just happened to be behind some of Lubbock's main college kid Thursday night go to's such as the Library and Kongs. Don't let the location steer you away, you won't even feel like you're in Lubbock. This is now on my Lubbock top 3 must try restaurants. I definitely recommend trying Sylvanna's Queso. It had a nice kick to it and a perfect blend of cheese and artichoke. The Margherita pizza wasn't the best I've ever had, but the flavor was wonderful. I can't wait to try more!

Sylvana's Queso - A restaurant setting features a white plate with a bowl of melted cheese queso topped with diced tomatoes and onions, accompanied by crispy tortilla chips. The table has a rustic, textured surface with water glasses, a menu, and a glass of water. The background includes leather seating and a purse, indicating a casual dining environment.

This is a great place for an afternoon drink and snack. A very relaxed chill vibe with jazz music playing in the background. My Porto Tonico (gin & tonic) drink was refreshing and had a slight sweetness to it that I liked. My wife liked her sparkling sangria. Sylvana's queso was well flavored with just a touch of heat from the diced jalapeños. Keeana our server was superb.

The image shows a table setting inside a restaurant with eclectic decor, including framed artwork and decorative items on the walls. On the table, there are two salad wraps in yellow paper cones and a metal dish containing a seafood dish with shrimp, lemon wedge, and herbs. A glass of water is also visible. The background includes multiple chairs and a bar area, indicating a casual dining environment.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. Wasn't really sure what I wanted for dinner and came across this spot especially wanting to eat light and something different. Food was great just as the service was from Farron. She was so welcoming and a pleasure meeting. I was just amazed with my experience here. Nothing but good food, service, and even the music. Learned from Farron that they have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. You will not be disappointed if you visit this spot.

We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Fully intended to post pictures as the plates came out to show how well it was all presented, however as they came out I was so excited to try them that I forgot to take the picture until I had taken a bite. This place delivered on quality, taste, environment and options! Wine was good as well. Had the sangria out of obligation based on what our friends told us. It's as good as I've ever had but I'm just not a sangria fan. The other 4 wines we tried were all awesome. Our server was awesome, he helped us pace our courses over the two hours we spent there with plates coming out within 5-10 minutes of us ordering them. We had a great dining experience here and look forward to another evening there to try the plates we didn't have this time.

    She said yes!!!

Thanks to Farron and the whole staff for making last night amazing. I contacted her early in the day to make a reservation and explained to her that I would be proposing to my girlfriend. She assured me that she and the staff would do everything they could to make the night special. I took the flower arrangement by the restaurant early in the afternoon & they placed it in the cooler for me. When we arrived, the host treated us amazingly by welcoming us and letting us know the special for the evening. The waiter was super attentive to anything we needed and was very helpful in recommending dishes from the menu. I excused myself from the table for a few minutes before dessert and gave the ring to Farron. She attached it to one of the stems and they brought the arrangement when they brought dessert. My girlfriend was so surprised when they brought it out and she got emotional when she noticed the ring. All the other patrons cheered and clapped when they realized what had happened. Other people and the wait staff came by to wish us well and take pictures if we needed it. Special thanks to whoever picked up the dinner tab. I don't know who you are, but that was a super sweet gesture. Many blessings to you. The food was great and I can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was so warming and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. Four thumbs up to everyone at La Diosa Cellars. I'm sorry if I can't remember your names. It was a wonderful night.

The food was incredible and beautifully done, service was super friendly, professional and fast, and the ambiance was phenomenal! Wonderful place for a date night or wine with the ladies!

I've never had any bad experiences at La Diosa! The environment is so beautiful and inviting, you never want to leave. GET THE SANGRIA. You'll thank me later.

I called ahead to ascertain whether a reservation was needed for dinner & if wine was on the menu. She happily informed me no reservation is needed on week nights but, weekends it was definitely advised & is currently BYOB but, do have wine glasses & opener. (There is a corking fee of 10$) We almost passed the restaurant as is appears as small, nondescript metal food hut with a drive through. Upon entry, dim lighting from table lamps & satin curtains have the restaurant a soft, intimate aura with an eclectic montage of decor from a Spanish guitar to a recipe bible. The kitchen exudes a warm vibrancy as it is open & you can see smiles & hear low but, chipper banter as a strip is lovingly sautéed. We were greeted and seated by a charming hostess who was quite hospitable & allowed to choose our own table. She uncorked and served our wine into gleaming glasses. There were two main entree choices of New York strip with asparagus, new potatoes & a red wine demi-glace or beef bourgognon with heavenly mashed potatoes. Three appetizer choices were available & two desserts. I anticipated a wait for from scratch food & it was served hot & strip cooked perfectly medium rare, juicy & seasoned delightfully & accompaniments were delicious as well. The beef Bourgogne was fork tender in a delectable rich red wine sauce with accompanying vegetable were succulent. Mashed potatoes was a celestial mound of creamy goodness! The epic finale was the crème brûlée with a gorgeously crystal brown, torched top with a lovely crackle when broken with the spoon, The cream was buttery, smooth with lovely light essence of vanilla & velvety texture. They were out of the chocolate fondue listed on the menu but, I could not conceivably savored another bite...

There were tons of young parents with their babies and toddlers in here at about 1 pm. There was a baby-changing station in the large stall of the women's restroom. Because I didn't know how long they would take getting our food out, I requested our drinks in to-go cups which seemed small. The strawberry lavender lemonade was not what I originally wanted, but it was okay ($6.50). My daughter's Strawberry Shortcake Dirty Soda ($3.95) was absolutely delicious. For food, oddly we both gravitated to the "Bennys: The Art of Hollandaise." While it wasn't the best hollandaise sauce I have ever tried, it was good on the "Smashed Avocado Benny" ($16.50). My daughter ate almost all of her "Bella Bella Benny" ($15.25) which came with prosciutto she loved. Both plates were served with house hash browns that were cooked just right and not too greasy. INDOOR/OUTDOOR DINING There was a dust storm rolling through town on February 17, 2026, so we dined inside, but there *is* an outdoor patio that looked fabulous. PITFALLS They were out of the "Rejuvenate" juice I wanted. The restrooms and the dining area could have been cleaner plus our waitress, Ellie, could have remembered items a bit better - hence the star knocked off.
