Absolutely livid walking out of Brunch Snob right now. My husband, myself, and my 4yo and 6yo kid walked in and put our names on the wait list with a 20 min quote. Keeping an eye on our place in the wait, we finally saw a table open up. The family that checked in right before us had been seated and I knew we were next. The hostess grabbed the menus, walked right past us and sat the family that came in after us. When I asked him why we weren't seated, he said that the family he just sat was ahead of us. Forty minutes of observing our place in line... please do not lie to us. I have kids crying because they are hungry, an AC in the restaurant that just wasn't keeping up with this heat... we left because although we may have been next on the list, this experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. Do better. Be prepared for the weekend brunch rush.

By far the best Monte Cristo I've ever had. I used to think Chompie's was the best, but this one is so much tastier than the one Chompie's makes. The extra fried batter on the outside is a little overdone, but you can crunch it off onto your plate. At the same time, they have the worst hash browns I've ever had. Not soft, not crunchy. They're almost uncooked like the compost pile of potato peeling. BUT, there are other potato options that looked better. Lots of other great looking dishes to try here. Just skip the hash browns.

The food was delicious as always. The portion size is so huge. You definitely can share but because there are so many choices it's hard to order just one meal. The cinnamon rolls are huge but very very sweet. The coffee is just regular diner coffee nothing to write home about. But their mimosa flight was delicious. The service was good but not friendly. She was efficient and patient but just didn't give friendly vibes. The place is super cute and was very clean. The bathrooms were clean which is very important to me.

Love, love, LOVE this place! The egg white delight wrap was delicious and the fruit was super fresh. Ransom, the host, Absolute legend. Made us feel instantly welcome. Our waitress was just as great--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. The vibe is cozy and lively (a little loud, but in a fun, bustling way). Clearly a popular spot--and for good reason. If I wasn't just passing through I would definitely come back.

First off the atmosphere of this place is so cute! I love all the deco. The menu had so many great choices. I chose the spicy chicken and waffles. It was very tastey although it could of had a little more spice. The service was also great. Our server was very nice. We sat right away and got our food fast as well. I overall enjoyed my experience at Brunch Snob (Uptown location). It was a bit loud inside, so my friend and I chose to sit outside, which ended up being much more enjoyable and comfortable for conversation. One thing that was a bit of a bummer was the waitlist process. I joined the waitlist on Yelp and wasn't aware that I still needed to check in once I arrived. On top of that, the Yelp queue and the restaurant's actual queue seemed inconsistent, and the "busy time" listed on Yelp wasn't accurate. The wait ended up being longer than expected. That part was a little frustrating. That said, once we were seated, things moved quickly. Food and drinks came out fast, and the service was solid . Our server was attentive and checked in on us regularly. I really enjoyed their coffee, and the portion sizes are decent. I also think the food is fairly priced for what you get. I ordered the Hillsbery Scramble and subbed sausage for bacon, and it was so good. Definitely comforting, hearty brunch food done right. I would return to this location.

From the hostess to the waitress brunch snob was such a pleasant experience. One downside to Phoenix/Scottsdale food scene is the hyper fixation on aesthetics & not really on food quality. Well this wasn't the case for brunch snob. Great food, great drinks & very professional staff.

Came in, music was loud but not too bad. The room had a lot of chatter and convos. Sounded like people enjoying their time. We were immediately greeted by a gentleman names Ransom. Big smile and good energy. They asked us if we wanted inside, outside, or first available... We picked first available. We got sat outside, order drinks, then our food... After about 30-45 minutes... We started burning up and decided to ask if we moved in. They didn't make it seem like it was a hassle, they were very accommodating and helpful. Special shout out to Ransom and Reec. Ps- sorry I forgot to take a picture at the beginning of the meal... We were hungry.

One of my favorite breakfast dishes is the Mother Clucker from Brunch Snob. It's such a savory dish and I love how the gravy and waffle taste together. The chicken thigh is always so crispy and flavorful. I never get tired of ordering this meal when I visit brunch snob. The decor is cute and each time I have went , the customer service has been superb!

I found brunch snob because I needed a spot that allowed dogs. I love the name of Brunch Snob and as soon as I saw the menu and all of the selections I was sold! There was short wait when we arrived despite seeing many tables but the guy inside said he would be right out and when he finally came out he said he hadn't forgotten about us. The patio is right in front and basically the restaurant is in a strip mall so if you are looking out you are seeing the parking lot, luckily the music was really good so that made me happy. My dog was really hot when we arrived and after we finally sat down and were waited on, I asked if she had a bowl of water for the dog, and she said yes, but what would you like? Ok, I want a Bellini -- after at least 5 or more minutes (it felt really long while my dog was panting up a storm) she finally brought a bowl out for him with water -- and put it on the table... ok she didn't want to bend over, that's fine... While we were waiting to order we saw them come out with a cinnamon roll the size of someone's head. We had to get that for sure -- originally my mom was going to get the "big ass" cinnamon roll French toast but we decided to split the actual cinnamon roll and she would get avocado toast. I got the "build your own omelet" with pepper jack, avocado and salsa with hash browns and sourdough toast. Mine was good -- no complaints, nothing amazing but good. My mom's "toast" however was not as advertised "Thick-cut 12 grain TOAST" -- first of all it was a piece of bread, maybe sourdough -- untoasted -- it was not 12 grain and therefore could it be considered avocado toast? We waited to report it to the waitress and finally after my mom had basically eaten the avocado because she was so hungry and they weren't anywhere to be seen --finally when we got her attention and showed her the soggy slice of bread she apologized but my mom was already done -- there was no offer to remove it from the bill. It is really too bad because this place is super cute, and I really wanted to like it, and it was actually quite expensive, IMO.

I'm always a sucker for a good brunch spot. We came here after a day of hiking. The service was great. We got seated right away. The ambience was casual and chill. There were quite a bit of things to choose on the menu and it does not look like it disappointed. Overall, I will be back.

Delicious breakfast options with a variety of unique starters and appetizers. The coffee selection was good as well, especially for a sit down breakfast spot. Creative and cute names for all the dishes with large portions that don't leave your stomach feeling bad. We were told it's usually a long wait and that stood true on our visit, worth it though!

My wife and I were out and about today so we went to try Brunch Snob Pretty busy for a Tuesday morning. We ended up on the patio, which is a great patio but desperately needs fans to move the air I went with the avocado toast (no tomato, add a fried egg, over hard) It was just okay. Nothing special. They put cream cheese on it, which gave it this weird sweet flavor and made the whole thing kind of mushy. Not a fan The wife got some GFD tots with queso, bacon, and chives. She seemed pretty stoked about them, said they were more like big potato croquettes - crispy on the outside and creamy inside. She was raving about the queso having a bit of a kick. I tried the tots, which were delicious, but I did not try the queso. We also tried a couple of drinks. I had the Princess Peach (no rum), which was alright, kinda bland. She ordered the Prickly Punch, and that was better, had a bit more flavor to it. The wife thought her drink was cute with a little crown and cotton candy, though. The service was quick, and the server was friendly, with a good sense of humor, answered our questions. I'd say 8/10, might recommend, will likely return for a second try read more

My husband and I stopped by Brunch Snob after a doctor's appointment. For a Tuesday, the place was surprisingly busy. We grabbed a seat on the patio--it's shaded, but the sun still peeks through and without fans, it heats up pretty fast. He ordered the avocado toast (no tomato, added a fried egg). It was just alright. Nothing exciting. The cream cheese gave it a weirdly sweet flavor and made the whole thing kind of mushy--not really our thing. I went with the GFD tots and added queso, bacon, and chives. They were more like giant potato croquettes than tots, but so good. Crispy on the outside, soft and creamy inside, and the queso had a nice little kick. Definitely a must-try. We tried a couple of cocktails too--the Prickly Punch and a Princess Peach (no rum). Both were tasty, though the Prickly Punch had a stronger, more balanced flavor. The Princess Peach was super cute--comes with a little crown and cotton candy--but it was kind of bland, probably because of the missing coconut rum. Service was fast, friendly, and our server had a great sense of humor--answered all our questions and kept things moving. Overall, we had a good experience. We'll be back, but next time we'll skip the patio and the avo toast. read more

Stopped in this gem for brunch today. Had a good amount of people but wasn't too packed, got served right away. This spot is spacious, open style restaurant with good food and good vibes. My party had the chilaquiles, short stack pancakes, and the hungry plate. It all was very good. Food was delivered fast and the server was very friendly and attentive. Brunch Snob was fantastic! They don't take reservations, but you can join the waitlist once you're close. I checked in about 20 minutes out, and by the time I arrived, my wait was only around 10 minutes. The restaurant was packed but super cute! I loved the phrases on the back of the seats and the stylish wall decor--it all added to the vibe. For our order, we tried a variety of things. The Chicken Bacon was tasty but a tad salty, while the Mimosa Flights were a standout--they let you swap flavors, which was perfect for tasting a bit of everything! A friend ordered the Smoked Salmon Breakfast Quesadilla and liked it. I had the Cajun Shrimp & Grits Benedict was my favorite--absolutely delicious! For starters, we shared the Giant Cinnamon Roll (totally big enough to split) and the French Toast Sticks--they were amazing! Highly recommend for brunch lovers! Our server was great! read more

Service wasn't bad for a busy Sunday, but we were waiting awhile at times for things. Food was good and I enjoyed my shrimp and grits biscuit dish overall! Others in my group enjoyed their food as well and would recommend the drinks too. We dined outside and it was nice but I would definitely recommend sitting out there when it gets colder and there's no flies since that was the hardest part about being on the patio. Ended up here randomly on a Sunday. The wait was around 45 mins for the two of us. It was entertaining to look around at all the fun decor. I joined the wait list on yelp and was 17th in line, 20mins later I was at 1st in line so I walked up to the host to check in. She told me it would be 30mins or so (she was telling everyone that walked up to the host stand the same thing) I told her I was 1st in line on the yelp wait list and she said OH OK. She then proceeded to seat 3 other parties before me, she saw the look I made, then she said they called ahead so she sat them down. I didn't know that was an option, even then does yelp and their restaurant not communicate with each other? Because it seemed like there were two separate wait lists?! The restaurant is small inside but they do have patio seating as well. Food came out and it was Okish, I got the brisket Benedict with spicy house potatoes and a mimosa flight. The benedict was good, potatoes were bland BUT the mimosa flight was perfect! No music playing in the restaurant don't know if that's a good or bad thing. The prices were actually decent so I might come back (Not a Saturday) read more

The food is amazing and portion sizes are out of control which I love. You are getting maximum value for your expense. The service may use some work as I ordered a drink and because they ran out of glasses for that drink, I didn't get served which is an internal thing. If I'm asking/ paying, bring me what I asked for or paid for period point blank. That sounds like a you problem not a consumer problem. read more

Breakfast is my least favorite meal, but not at Brunch Snob. Their menu is extensive and has fun options. I had the crazy clucker, which was bigger than I wanted, but I wanted to try all of the flavors: buttermilk biscuit, fried chicken, chicken fried bacon, gravy, honey...yummm. As my husband said, "it tastes just like it looks" and it looked amazing! The restaurant decor is fun, and I'm always appreciative of a bathroom that is also decorated to theme. read more

Host deleted us off the wait-list and never apologized when we asked why so many people who came after us already sat. I'm not sure if their milk was bad or what but I had to send the latte back it was undrinkable. Regular coffee tasted like a gas station's and the water was not fully see though. I thought this would be a cute aesthetic and good culinary breakfast spot but quickly realized we made a mistake. It felt like a mom-pop IHOP. Truly lives up to their name-- snobs My boyfriend put his reservation thru yelp. Received a confirmation text. Waited for almost 2 hours just to get kicked off the list when we were number 2 in line. Went in to resolve the issue and was told by the host that he never saw us on the list and wouldn't even have a table to seat us anyway. Unempathetic and unhelpful. Not too sure if it was an issue with the reservation on the app or with their system. Wasted a lot of time waiting for nothing. read more

The food was fantastic, and the menu offers a wide variety with something for everyone. It wasn't overwhelming like some brunch spots can be. Our server, Lee, clearly has a lot of regulars--he's genuinely cheerful and excels at his job. Exceptional waitstaff like him is rare these days. My Bloody Mary was great, with shrimp and a crispy piece of bacon. I'll definitely be back, especially since the menu features fresh ingredients. read more

Cute little restaurant in uptown Phoenix, I loved my meal and my friend got the bowl and she loved it and it was huge so she could take some food home. Their bottle off campagne way $25 and we had plenty which was nice. Food was very well priced with both our meals being like 15 or less. We sat outside and they make the area nice for the fact that it's in like a strip of grocery store and other stores etc. We had a really cool waitress checked on us juuuust the right amount and got us any extra stuff we needed they kept the tables around us clean which was super nice! There's a lot of spots for improvement here, but I'd also say that Lylo is one of the few businesses I've ever seen do such a visually-great escape out from their pool area. If you're here for the escape and temper your expectations for food or drink, I think you'd have a good time. There are a TON of mosquitos here, so prepare accordingly. The bar and hotel lobby didn't have bug spray nor any for sale. The nearby liquor store does have some for sale at less than a block's walk. (The pool is hot mid Phoenix summer. The pool itself felt closer to a hot tub than a refreshingly cold pool. I'm told this is normal for pools in Arizona in the summer.) PROS: -All of the drinks are really pretty, visually, and with the pool, you have a great mecca for social media photos. -Despite the ridiculous 110+ Phoenix heat, we were relatively comfortable in the shaded restaurant area with the misters. We could still see the pool, but we weren't baking alive. -Pool bathrooms were clean enough. There were lots of puddles and toilet paper on the ground, but nothing was horrific or moldy like some pool bathrooms can be. Spacious stalls for changing too - though I didn't see any shower or changing areas. -The pool area itself is pretty! It makes for gorgeous Instagram photos, and Lylo knows that. There are lots of little spots (a camp sign, a chair off on its own, all the loungers, etc.) that make cute photo backdrops in addition to the pool itself. -There is a collection of inflatable pool toys in the corner that seem to be open for guest use. CONS: -Water bottles are not allowed at all - not even sealed disposable plastic ones from the grocery store. They'll store them for you, and you can fetch your own water with disposable plastic cups while you're here. -The misters in the pool area were broken. With the heat, we chose not to actually use the pool, and instead stayed in the restaurant, shaded area with misters. -All of the on-menu drinks are pretty sweet and not super boozy (at their price points). It's easy to go through quite a few at their higher price. Make sure that you're spending intentionally. -We weren't in love with the food we ordered. It felt like frozen food reheated and served to us. To be fair, that's about to be expected from a pool bar, but it was still something to note at the prices and with nearby restaurants walkable. -Service is there. I wouldn't say it was friendly or welcoming, but the servers checked in often in-between talking to people in swimsuits or joking with friends. I rarely waited for anything, but I didn't feel like a valued guest. -The fabric of the chaise loungers and lounge beds are stained. I saw some employees hauling off some of them and shoving them into the back of a fabric cleaning van, so I'd assume they rotate in and out and have to deal with a ton of spilled drinks.

Before coming here, I had once been to the next door ice cream place Churn before, but this was my first time coming to Windsor, and I didn't even realize they served the Churn ice cream too for desert! For quite a few months, I had it on my list to visit. I finally made things happen on a Wednesday evening for a drink. Located on the roof (of course) of a boutique hotel, I find free parking in the hotel's parking lot. While it was a busy parking lot, I was able to find a spot. Unfortunately, my night consisted of a comedy of errors. Ambiance (3/5): When you think best rooftop in the state, you're thinking scenic and peaceful views. Don Woods' certainly has that, though I've seen better in Phoenix. You can see the mountains in the background, but that's about it. The hotel is located on a busy street, where you'll often hear the noise of cars buzzing by or the train choo-chooing. Did I just make up a word?! I imagine the best time to stop by is during sunset. The outdoor area is relatively narrow with seating for about 20-30 people. It's a mix of comfortable seats and tables/chairs. There's also a charming indoor area, where the bar is located, but I felt like I had to sit outside. The weather was perfect, too. Service (2.5/5): This is where the comedy of errors began. I was given a menu and some water and was left to peruse the menu. Before the waitress had returned, I had picked out an appetizer and a cocktail. I then discovered that their cook had quit the other week and as a result, no food was available. That's fine and all, but you've gotta give me a heads-up when giving me the menu. That way, I wouldn't have spent the time to look over the food menu and get my heart set on a particular dish. On a better note, they have free WiFi. And service was overall friendly and pretty efficient. Food (N/A): While I was unable to order some food, on most nights, they have a small menu of small plates. More of a snack type of spot then a full meal type of establishment. Drinks (3/5): Don Woods is know for its cocktails and they have a list of 10 or so craft cocktails. Plus, beer, wine, and the typical options that you would find when there's a full bar. I feel like the bartender messed up the proportions on my cocktail as it was a bit rough. One drink and I was out. It seems like Don Woods' is experiencing some turnover which is leading to some mishaps. Combine that with some high expectations given the accolades they won, and it was the recipe for a disaster. I love a good rooftop bar, so I was hoping for more at Don Woods' Say When. Even the lobby of the hotel was experiencing issues. They sell popsicles in the lobby but the guy temporarily manning the front desk didn't know how to get their Square device working. Which ended up meaning no appetizers for me at Don Woods and no popsicles from the lobby. Two strikes. We live to fight another day.

(1 Star) DO NOT GO TO BRUNCH SNOB IF YOU WANT TO BE TOLD TO "SHUT THE F* UP" FOR ASKING A SIMPLE QUESTION.** My wife and I drove 35 minutes to Brunch Snob because we've already been to just about every brunch spot in Scottsdale and wanted to try something different. After reading the reviews, we thought this would be a great place to spend our Saturday morning. Before leaving, I joined the restaurant's online waitlist. Their system gave us an estimated seating time between 11:03 AM and 11:13 AM, so we immediately made the drive expecting the restaurant to honor the time provided by its own website. Instead, we were told we wouldn't be seated because the restaurant decided to accommodate a party of 30 that called after we had already joined the waitlist and after we had already arrived. Despite arriving first and following their process exactly as instructed, we lost our place in line so they could prioritize the larger party. If your online waitlist doesn't actually hold a customer's place in line, then don't offer one. We politely walked back to the host stand and asked one simple question: "Why provide customers with a seating window if you have no intention of honoring it?" That question turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The employee we initially believed was the manager--but later learned was actually a host--immediately became defensive and confrontational. Instead of explaining the situation or apologizing, he started arguing with us in front of a lobby full of customers. Within minutes, he was yelling at us, telling both my wife and me to "shut up" and "be quiet." Then he looked directly at me and told me to "shut the f* up."** Think about that for a second. A restaurant employee thought it was acceptable to tell paying customers to "shut the f* up"** because they asked why the restaurant wasn't honoring its own waitlist. I asked to speak with the manager, expecting someone to step in, calm the situation down, and address what had just happened. Instead, she approached with an attitude and asked, "What do you want me to do?" She then offered to seat us. By then, the damage had already been done. After being publicly yelled at, cursed at, and completely disrespected, there was absolutely no way we were going to sit down and trust that we would have a pleasant dining experience. The saddest part is that this entire situation could have been avoided with a simple apology and a professional explanation. Restaurants get busy. Delays happen. Most customers understand that. What customers should never have to accept is being treated this way for asking a reasonable question. Ironically, my wife is a local content creator who regularly features restaurants throughout Arizona. We had every intention of enjoying brunch, creating content, and sharing Brunch Snob with our audience. One of her recent restaurant videos generated more than 253,000 views. Instead of receiving positive exposure, this restaurant earned this review because of the way we were treated. The food may be amazing--I honestly wouldn't know because we never got the opportunity to find out. We drove 35 minutes because of Brunch Snob's reputation, followed their process exactly as instructed, and instead of being welcomed, we were skipped in line and told to "shut the f* up."** That isn't hospitality. I was shocked by how horrible my dining experience was this morning, especially considering I've had great experiences here during their busy weekend rush. Today, the restaurant was half-empty, yet the service was atrocious. Our server seemed completely preoccupied with the patio and barely acknowledged our table. She only stopped by to take our order and drop off the bill. I had to literally wave her down to ask why our "mimosas" tasted flat and disgusting. That's when I learned they're not even made with champagne--it's just white wine mixed with orange juice, which feels like blatant false advertising, especially at $25. A mimosa should contain the proper ingredients, and this substitution was both disappointing and misleading. Things only got worse from there. The syrup brought out for my three pancakes was half-empty, and since our server was too busy adjusting patio chairs to check on us, I had to get up, walk to the bar, and wait for her just to get more syrup. This level of neglect was beyond frustrating. As for the food, the pancakes were mushy and doughy--not at all what I expected from a place that's known for brunch. For a restaurant that wasn't even busy, this experience was far below the standard I've come to expect. Sadly, after this disappointing visit, I don't think I'll be returning. Upon arrival, it was a bit busy, and we waited about 10 minutes for a table. The seating area was quite spacious, with options for both indoor and outdoor dining. As first-time visitors, we decided to explore a variety of dishes. We began with the Princess Snob, a delightful drink topped with Cotton Candy. For the main course, we tried the Hillsbery Scramble, Chilaquiles, Grandma Mary's Biscuits & Gravy, and Short Stack. The inside was nice, and the decor was stylish. My order came out fast and fresh, and my cold brew was delicious. My only complaint was the house potatoes. I love a crispy home style potatoe and they were sorta mushy. I think whatever sauce they tossed them was a little too spicy, and the liquid made them mushy, and that was a little disappointing. Brunch Snob is a great spot in Phoenix for brunch -- fun vibe, good menu, and everything came out fresh and hot. Megan was our server and she absolutely crushed it. She checked in often without hovering, kept the coffee topped up, and even suggested the seasonal French toast (which was incredible). Service like that makes all the difference. read more

Such a cute and fun environment! The service was fabulous, lovely lady walking around and conversing with the tables. Felt like a local family establishment with such a fun vibe. Stopped into Brunch Snob for the first time and had such a good experience. The food was on point -- loved the eggs benedict and the crispy potatoes. But what really stood out was our server, Megan. She was super attentive, had great recommendations, and made us feel really welcome. Definitely makes me want to come back again soon. read more
