Was in town for a work meeting and stopped by quickly to grab a bite with colleagues. The location is cute, located in an old bank! They have a parking lot in the back that was packed and inside was packed too, especially for a Wednesday around 1pm. The servings were good and it's reasonably priced too! Get the onion rings! Our server was very sweet and didn't rush us out at all. Thanks for a great experience! I wish them well!

Good food, excellent service, great aesthetic! My friends and I stopped here this morning on our way to Philly. Sincerely just typed "breakfast" into the maps app and chose a spot not too far off our route. We couldn't have been happier with our decision! We were greeted immediately by the hostess who was extremely helpful, explaining our seat choices in great detail. We opted to sit upstairs which gave a cute surprise view of the train set! Our waitress was also helpful, kind, and quick. The food was quick out as well. I ordered the banana stuffed French toast. Delicious. My friends enjoyed their breakfast burritos. The taste was almost as good as their prices. If you are looking for a down to earth place for a quick bite, Brownstone is a great stop.

I had landed at Harrisburg Airport airport at lunchtime and was looking for something to eat that was not the same old thing. I found this restaurant online and it was only five minutes from the airport. What I found here was a beautiful classic building, great service, and delicious food. The ham loaf lunch was great and was under $20, and that includes a drink. The place was hopping and I could see why. It had a warm atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

First time in here was an experience. We went Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. When we enter the staff was friendly to greet us. We did have a wait but it wasn't terribly long. Our waiter was very friendly. Food came out quick and hot and was delicious. We did enjoy looking around the building as it was an old bank. I liked how they kept certain things from the bank to add to their cafe. It was very beautiful in there. I would go back again.

    Turkey Croquets

The special today was Stuffed Pepper with two sides and it was perfect! Slow cooked and perfectly tender... the pepper melted in my mouth! The beef vegetable soup was hearty and perfectly seasoned. Others in my party had the turkey croquets and chicken fingers and everyone thought their meal was delicious. The decor was lovely and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend

Lovely facade of an old bank turned restaurant. We were in Harrisburg metro and popped in for lunch. Restaurant was booming at lunchtime and we were able to secure a small booth. Seemed to be a lot of regulars who are well acquainted with staff and menu. The Rachel sandwich is good. Sauerkraut, turkey breast and Swiss on grilled rye. Came with chips but added fries. Server dropped off the plate and never came back. So ketchup was not available with fries. Maddening. The burrito came with prepackaged tubes of sour cream and guacamole, functional but lacks aesthetic. Chips were not served as ordered but was replaced by rice pilaf. What? Again the server never came back till the check was required. The check is a paper receipt left on the table. I had cash, thankfully, so I left it on the table as the server never came back.

Next time I'll eat in . The portions were plentiful for the dine in people. 4shrimp and 4 scallops . I will say I'm going back because it is a five star restaurant. And I saw the massive plates as I was walking out . 3 stars too less food. I can eat 6 lbs of seafood boil. This was more an appetizer

This place is awesome. We came in for lunch before 12pm. The place was packed. We got a table for 4. The menu is big. We ordered the open face turkey and roast beef. The Rachel and a salad w/ real chicken. My tower of turkey came out. Wow. Tons of food. Turkey, dressing, mash, gravy, broccoli, and cranberry. The entire plate was full. The roast beef was no different. The salad plate was full of greens and a grilled chicken breast. Finally, the Rachel was a big sangawich. Everything was big. Did i say that already? Anyway, the food was great. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was playful and on the ball. Constantly checking in on us. I highly recommend this place. We will be here tomorrow again.

The Millworks support local talent from growers to local artist. The restaurant provide fresh seasonal items. A menu that has something for everyone that includes homemade pizzas, sandwiches and full meals. With a solid drink menu that includes cocktails with shrubs, their beer, wine and more. I sat down at the bar and was warmly greeted by fellow patrons and the bar staff during a busy Thursday night! Pro tip: make reservations if you want a table. The bar overlooks the courtyard that offers limited seating. The main dining area offers a very size able seating area. Note when the sun goes down you can be blinded at the bar. The menu looked all soooo good . As it was so good that I was having trouble deciding on some food but I paired down to a couple items and with help of the patrons and bartender we decided on a pizza with mushrooms. The pizza was very large and filled with mushrooms. A great pizza for mushroom lovers. I complimented my pizza with an adult beverage. I had a champagne with a local shrub. It was the perfect balance. During mg time at the bar, I learned this is one of three restaurants in town. The owner has a "dive bar" that looks to be a tiki bar and a date night place. Great to see these places pop in Harrisburg as the downtown area needs a facelift. Come and enjoy! Also check out their happy hour..:

The place has a very casual, come-as-you-are bar-and-kitchen vibe, which fits the area well. Nothing felt overly polished or fancy, and that is not a criticism. It seemed like the kind of local spot where people can just show up, relax, and get a solid meal. The problem was the service on this visit. We showed up right around the breakfast-to-lunch transition and thought we had made it in time for breakfast, but apparently not. We got seated pretty quickly, which made it seem like things were moving along, but then we sat there for about 20 minutes with water glasses and no water, and really no meaningful attention at all. By the time someone finally came over with the water, we were already done and decided to head somewhere else down the street. It was also getting fairly loud while we were sitting there, and the staff seemed tired or stretched thin, so I would not be surprised if we caught the place at a bad moment, maybe during a shift change or just an awkward transition between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was busy, which usually says something good, and the food we saw going to other tables looked pretty solid. That is why I landed on 3 out of 5. This was not a bad experience in the usual sense. It was more of a non-experience. We never got far enough to judge the food, and I do not think it would be fair to hammer the place over one oddly timed visit. But sitting that long without even getting water was enough for us to leave.

We stopped in after checking out the shopping outlets in the area. We did make reservations prior to dining to make sure we had a table. Parking is a bit of a hassle but that's no fault of the restaurant. Fire and grain is located inside the Hershey lodge. Mostly all parking spots are taken up by the hotel guests so it's a bit tricky to find open parking. We had a party of 4 dining that night. Very friendly staff , especially when we had questions about the menu. We chose to start off with the burrata appetizer. We thought it would be a nice size to split with 4 but it turned out to be quite small. Only 1 slice of bread , small drizzle of balsamic and just 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half and maybe a half handful of arugula. Maybe make this a bit larger of a portion as a starter. For entree I chose the pappardelle bolognese - house made fresh pasta , Italian sausage and short rib ragu with ricotta cheese. Needed a bit more of the sausage and short rib but still very good. My wife had the shrimp Alfredo. Very tasty as well with plenty of shrimp and another delight with the house made pasta which takes it to another level. A surprise was that the tails were already removed from the shrimp to make it easier to enjoy. For dessert we'd share the chocolate peanut buttter mousse cake! So rich but so delicious! Another great treat! Be sure to stop in and check this place out if you're in town visiting Hershey,PA.
