My family and I went to Brothers last weekend for lunch and they completely exceeded our expectations! The customer service was beyond exceptional and something I have not experienced anywhere else. The food...OH MY GOSH!!! To die for!!! We left there not only with full bellies, but we also felt like we had just made friends! You really feel like you've been invited to a friend's house; that's the kind of hospitality you get as soon as you enter. And the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is just so cool; movie posters on the wall, TVs on, a small play area for the kiddos. They really did think of everything! As soon as we walked out, my husband says "we are definitely coming back soon!" We can't wait for our next dining experience at Brothers! If you're on the fence, GO! You will not be disappointed! read more

Had last minute holidays errands in the area and decided to place an order to go. Ordered The Rocha with fries and a drink and it came to $20 & change which seemed pricey for a meal for one, got home and it was large enough for both the Hubbs and me. Crispy chicken, bacon, Oaxaca cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, ranch & chipotle. Crispy and tasted hand battered, everything was fresh & tasty. Hubbs that it was spicy, I didn't notice any heat until the last bite. Will definitely be back and next time will have to try a burger or steak salad. read more

What a treat! stopped in on our way to Yosemite. Found on YELP. a store front in a strip mall. the moment we stepped in we were greeted and felt welcomed. Very pleasant counter person who answered our questions and took our order. Sandwiches and burgers, wraps and salads. Local beers which we enjoyed! we had the bbq beef sandwich with fries. The meat was excellent, cut thin and tender. seems like they prepare in house. nice crispy fries served with a side of ketchup. Honestly that is the best bbq beef sand i've ever eaten! Bathrooms and restaurant very clean. think it was one of the owners who came to ask how things were which is always a plus. fun to see the video show of their team and the working of Brothers. As we aren't from area we don't know the story but felt included and cared for. Not to mention Ripon is a really cute town! We will make a point to stop in again when we head this way. The food at Brother's was amazing and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere didn't match. Our server seemed annoyed whenever we ordered or asked for something, though another waitress was kind and attentive. There was also an uncomfortable vibe, with a surprising amount of political messaging, which might alienate some guests. In short, great food, but the experience would benefit from more welcoming service and a focus on hospitality over politics. There's also a spacious private dining area off to the right that can be reserved for larger gatherings and is separated from the main dining room by doors. The menu features all the classic roadhouse favorites you'd expect. We visited with a party of 12, and our server did a great job keeping up with our large group. I will say that there was only one other table with patrons during our visit. So, I can't speak to the service when they are busy. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the service remained attentive throughout the meal. I ordered the carnitas tacos, which come with your choice of French fries or chips and salsa. I went with the chips and salsa. The meal includes two tacos, and they're much larger than traditional street tacos. I'd estimate they're about twice the size. The carnitas had great flavor and were served nice and hot. My only complaint was the amount of grease in each taco. Each time I picked up a taco, grease continuously dripped out at a steady rate for several seconds, making them a bit messy to eat. The chips were fresh with a satisfying crunch, and the salsa was flavorful. It paired well with both the chips and the tacos. Overall, the tacos were good, but I don't feel they justified the $18 price tag. Even so, I'd come back and give the restaurant another try, as there are several other items on the menu that looked worth ordering.

And again was told no. The granola does in fact have almond slivers in it luckily I am not so allergic I will die from it or need an epi pen I just usually break out in hives for a few hours and then I'm fine and typically it's more peanuts than other nuts anyway but working in a restaurant you really should be aware of what is in your foods that way someone doesn't have a bad reaction.

Among the usual options like Applebee's and McDonald's, it really stood out. After looking through the menu, I loved how clearly the macros were listed and how everything was protein focused. The past few months have been hectic, with long work hours making it difficult to stay consistent with the gym and healthy eating. I've been trying to get back into a routine and lose a few extra pounds, so finding convenient, nutritious options hasn't always been easy. Honestly, I was almost ready to settle for a protein bar and shake from a gas station. Finding The Protein House felt like a gift. I ordered the Muscle Builder Burger with a side of fruit, which came out to an incredible 84g of protein, 48g of carbs, and 33g of fat. Those are amazing macros for a restaurant meal, especially a burger. The food was also reasonably priced for the quality you're getting. Bison isn't exactly cheap, so being able to enjoy a burger with great macros at a fair price was awesome. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. The owner, January, brought me a side of their house-made BBQ sauce without me even asking. And let me tell you, it was so good! We had a brief conversation, and he mentioned that they had recently opened a couple of locations in Sacramento and Turlock. He also shared that his wife, Nary, was the one who took my order. She was incredibly kind, and I could tell from the start that she genuinely cared about the customer experience. January and Nary are a true power couple! You can see the passion for nutrition and the hard work they put into their business. They're both fit themselves, which makes it even more inspiring to see them building a business around a lifestyle they clearly believe in and practice. They're not just serving nutritious food; they're living the lifestyle they promote. Overall, the food was excellent, the hospitality was outstanding, and I left feeling genuinely taken care of. I only wish they had a location closer to Redwood City so I could eat here more often. If you're looking for a convenient, high-protein meal without compromising on flavor or quality, I highly recommend giving The Protein House a try. Supporting passionate local business owners like January and Nary makes the experience that much better!

Wow! Brenda and Willy absolutely made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, their energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness set the tone for an incredible meal. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect--attentive without being intrusive, friendly without being over-the-top, and just overall amazing at what they do. And the food? Absolutely top-notch. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the presentation was just as impressive. But honestly, it was the service that made this place stand out. This review is not about the food, which is probably great. There was some conspiracy theory language about the COVID vaccine at the front entrance, discouraging people from getting vaccinated. Cons: price is definitely a factor, especially for a place that isn't a "fancier" or higher tier breakfast/lunch spot. Cleanliness might be an issue. Can get pretty packed on the weekends at breakfast.

Good food but questionable service…read more At this Texas Roadhouse location in the past, I've never experienced any issues. This time, however, our server did a very poor job. When we got to the table, we noticed there were only two plates for our party of three. We asked for an additional plate, he said he would bring one, but then never came back. We had to ask another nearby server if one could be grabbed for us. They grabbed the plate from a stack that was literally two feet away from our table. This was frustrating because what could have been a five second task turned into an inconvenience for us as well as another staff member. Even after we got our food, we were annoyed with the server. We needed drink refills and it felt like he was deliberately ignoring us. There was a group of four young men (around the server's age) who kept ordering rounds of beer sitting at the table next to us. The server kept only going back to that table and helping them out. He would look directly at our table, and then go back to chat with the one next to us. When we were finally able to flag him down for drink and bread refills, he walked away and brought us neither. When he came back to our section, he went straight back to that other table. We asked him a second time for the refills and he acted like we had never received the request in the first place. He also never cleared our table. Usually, when the main dishes came out, the server would take the small plates and remove empty cups and bread baskets. We were left with the empty trays and plates which made our table feel super crowded and dirty. Despite this really annoying service, the food was really good. The kitchen never misses here. I ordered the beef tips, loaded mashed potatoes, and a Caesar salad. The meat was super tender and everything was very flavorful. This evening it was bustling and crowded as usual. It was a little rowdy but nothing unexpected. Hopefully next time will be better!

Even chicken tender was very tasty and literally tender
