We closed the deal, AND THEN, because it's bigger than anything my wife has ever driven, and it was a Friday night with heavy traffic, we asked him if he could deliver it to our house about 40 miles away. He did. He arrived at 8:40 on a Friday night with our 'new' car and our documents, and just made our week (month / quarter !). I'm having problems with the truck. It was hit on the left side don't trust these guys they're a rip off. That's why they're in Pomona on Holt. I enjoy switching up cars and typically buy a new one a few times a year. I have had many very pleasant interactions with dealerships, but never one bad enough to warrant a negative review. Here is my first! This is the slimy used car dealership you see in movies. This dealership is the reason for all of the negative stereotypes associated with used car salespeople. If you value your time, being respected, and conducting fair negotiations on a quality vehicle, you may have better luck purchasing a private party 1997 Ford Ranger from an angry teenager who "knows what he has" than attempting a purchase here. The salesperson used several blatantly untrue lies in negotiation - "If I sell a car too cheap, other dealers will report me to the DMV and we will get shut down." They add a $1,999 "accessories" charge to their advertised prices (among other charges). We managed to work through those issues and then figured out they do not accept credit union pre approval checks (that I have used to purchase several other cars, including the one I purchased after I left this place), and the manager came out to (literally) scream at me before I left for presenting them with the check. I got a text the next day saying they would accept my check and asking me to come back in. I can only guess this is their unethical attempt to get you to use their financing. I might have gone back, but was presented with an opportunity to repeatedly slam my head in a San Francisco public bathroom toilet seat, and decided to do that instead as it sounded more enjoyable. This was a blessing in disguise - I got a much nicer truck with 50k less miles, for several thousand dollars less, from a dealership that acted professionally and treated me with respect. read more

At first, I was really impressed with my car buying experience with Brooks Auto Center but things aren't always what they appear to be..... I was financed through their in house financing as I am rebuilding my credit. I was asked to put down $25,000 as the down payment I had to make the down payment in 4 installments as that was a large amount of money. I had around $2600. left to pay on my down payment when I had some very unfortunate health issues come up and wasn't able to get the rest of my down payment in on time to them. They called my cell phone 2 times never left a voicemail and then they decided to cancel my financing and took the truck back. Leaving me without a vehicle and now out of $22400.00 that they kept. I do realize that I was late with the down payment but clearly, I put a huge chunk down already that I would've have thought that they would have tried a little more to get ahold of me to see what was going on, but they didn't. The funny thing is that they haven't been able to resell that truck yet and it's been sitting on their lot for over 4 months. I went to a real dealership, and they were awesome and worked with me on my credit got me funded for another F350 Platinum I did put down $20,000. on my new truck so the irony of this is had Brooks Auto Center tried to work with me a little bit more that truck would have already been paid off from the in-house financing. I still don't understand how they can sleep at night knowing that they just kept and made $22400.00 off of me. Again, I know that I was short and late finishing paying the down payment but clearly my health and life were more important at that point, but they didn't seem to care for a company that claims to be all about family and good customer service they clearly are frauds in that department. I wouldn't even want my worst enemy to go to them to buy a car. read more

The price was decent and lower than it should be according to car gurus. But I always dred buying cats because of the games and time most dealers put you through. First of all they lied and said the car was still under the manufacture's warranty, when I called Mercedes Benz I was ptold me the car's warranty expired in April. I asked Jamal several times for a copy of the service they said was done on the car prior to purchase. As of today I have not received anything! When last we spoke I told him that a man's word was everything and I was counting on him to honor his word. He told me a $600 service was done but so far no proof!!
