Q: What do you get when you don't get what you want? A: Experience I certainly gained experience when I purchased my 2015 Mustang GT from LRG last year. In an effort to be honest and accurate, I will say that Ralph, the salesman went the extra mile close the deal. He sought out financing and made sure that the deal was closed. Throughout this process, he was very friendly and responsive. He even said he would get me the "shop price" for tires, and window tinting. When there was an issue with the registration, he ensured that I got the refund quickly. He asked me to do a review on google, yelp, etc... if I was happy with the service, I told him I would. (I forgot). Fast forward barely a month. The car sputters and dies. Check engine light comes on and I limp it to work. I text Ralph, explain what was going on, ask if I should even drive it home. He says it should be fine. It wasn't. It died on the way home and I have to have it towed. I sent Ralph another series of texts, which were unanswered. After receiving no answer, I posted a review on Google. I can't say for sure that the google review was the impetus for him to respond, but I got a response shortly after that. In that response, he mentioned that if integrity was so important tto me, then why did I wait until I had an issue to post the review. He then insinuated that I was told him a lie when I said "I don't have a code reader..." as I was at work, I don't drive around with one, and certainly wouldn't expect to need one for a car that I purchased some 32 days before. I hadn't even made the first payment yet. After he insults my integrity, congratulates me on pointing out that they have no liability (I bought the car, AS IS NO WARRANTY--Remember that EXPERIENCE I mentioned), as well as giving me excuses for his not responding, and then trying to gaslight by saying that I took longer to respond when they were getting me the refund for their registration SNAFU... I believe that that will be the extent of assistance that I get from him, so, I file a complaint with the BBB. After I filed the complaint, but before they contacted LRG, Ralph calls and tells me that he "spoke with the owner, and you can tow it to the shop next door and they will do a diagnostic" I make the arrangements to have it at the shop the next morning very shortly after they open. Then the shop calls me and tells me that I have to come and pick up the car, they were "forbidden from diagnosing the issue because of the BBB complaint" So I have to leave work again, go to the shop and have AAA tow it from there back to the house. At this point all the communications are through the BBB. The first response was "what does this customer want? He bought the car as is" then goes on to state that I was offered a 3rd party warranty (I wasn't) and turned it down (no such interaction occurred). The message then goes on to state that they would pay the "diagnosis fee" but that I would have to remove all negative reviews, and withdraw the BBB Complaint, and agree not to post any more complaints or negative remarks. "LRG management team would like to help the customer with paying the diagnosis fee, but only if the customer removes the complaint and agrees not to file another complaint with the BBB, Yelp, Google, or any other site. We thrive on having a good relationship with our customers." Was the exact quote. They would help (with the diagnostic fee) if and only if I removed any negative comments and promised not to put more. They go on to say that I filed the complaint after they agreed. Negative, Ghostrider; I filed the complaint because their utter lack of response, and then the insulting response from their salesman (yes the same one that was really nice, and incredibly responsive while he was trying to make the sale.) Then the owner jumps in and gets a bit p***y because I used his name, incorrectly. Sorry, buddy. No, I never met you or spoke with you... but you are ....the OWNER... you know? I apologize that I said your name instead of the manager. But again, you are the owner of the business, and it is your name attached to it... but, still I do sincerely apologize. In my last response to the BBB, I told them that I rejected their conditions, and therefore the offer. I told the BBB (and the LRG management) that they could contact me directly to further discuss this... Here we are nearly a year later and still nothing. So much for their customer service. So much for valuing their customer relationships. So much for standing behind the products that they sell. The more that I think about this, the more I am inclined to think they knew the car was about to take a massive dump, and therefore were happy to dump it on someone. The car buying experience was pleasant and they initially did a great job. However, this dealer has been completely unreliable for over two years now. I've contacted them five times since 2020 and they have yet to send me a part they promised to send when purchasing. I've left my contact information with at least 3 or 4 employees and they keep saying "we'll get back to you soon." Which is what you say to appease anyone questioning your lack of accountability. I'm beyond disappointed and would NEVER recommend LRG due to sheer lack of follow through and pathetic customer service. read more

We have been searching for a vehicle for a couple weeks and it has been crazy stressful and time consuming. I bought my first car from them 3 years ago and they were really nice and did business well, I left happy and everything was good. Recently I went to a dealership to trade in my Veloster that I bought from LRG Motors and come to find out they ran back the mileage on the car by 10,000 miles. It brought the value of the car down by a lot and I was very frustrated and shocked when I found out. If you go to LRG I recommend you ask about the car facts and do your research before buying the car because they might try to pull a fast one!!! We found out from the dealership because they showed us the previous owners and what mileage they stopped at. The previous owner that had the Veloster before me had the mileage at 50k and when LRG sold it to me I started at 40k. Be cautious out there!!!!! read more

Where do I start, I took my original Yelp down because they made it seems as though it was so unfair and they where going to help, well here we are again. I bought a car from here Dec 2017, when I bought the car before I signed any paperwork in was told by Robert at LRG that there was a noise in the tire area and that he would fix it no problems. From the day I picked up the car till the first few weeks I continuously asked him about this repair, he kept saying he has to talk to Steve (Owner) to get it done.. so now few months in I am told nothing but excuses. Finally when I got upset Robert told me take it to a repair shop in upland, just to be turned away twice when I got there, and told they didnt have time. 5 weeks later after further inquiries from me he makes me a appt at another shop in upland. This shop says there is $4000 in damages in tire area, when I give this estimate to Robert he comes back and says Steve is not authorizing it and he will only do part. Now here we are and Robert says he is ordering parts for me and then start the excuses again, or flat out ignoring me. These excuses, and lies go on till December 2018, we are now a year in with him not honoring his commitment and promise. Now after leaving messages with Robert voice mail, text, calling the office, leaving voicemails, and still getting ignored 100% although I can see that Robert is reading my messages. I finally talk to a lawyer about what I should do, i was told to give one more attempt & to leave a Yelp, and well as get all my evidence together. So I did, i left a Yelp and all the sudden the next day i receive a call from Steve. Steve calls and says he knew nothing about it, had never heard anything.. wether that is true or not I don't know. So I explain everything that happened and Steve say I will fix this and make it right.. great.. So he makes a appt for me to take it to a new place, so I take it there, and they find as the other place advised lots of damage that was prior to me purchasing. Now they start fixing it and i come to pick it up, as Inam pulling out the car is making the same exact noise, which is what was the original problem. So I take it back and they say Steve never told them to check the left side, but that didnt make sense because it was stated to Steve over and over again the noise was coming from the left. So upon checking again, this shop finds all kinds of damage on the left side, and Steve orders those parts. Few days later I pick up the car and pull out, lol and there is the noise not fixed at all. Now I let steve know and steve say " I have went above and beyond and i wont do anything else, to blame the mechanic shop." Well why would I blame them when I told you the left, and you didnt tell them the left. So now we are in February 2019 and Steve is now refusing to fix what the problem was from the start after his dishonest employer Robert screwed me around for over a year. Steve then proceeds to call the mechanic shop and say I am asking for the world, and taking advantage of him.. wow... interesting I have not asked for anything to be fixed but what I was promised. I paid for all the other fixes to the car that they found outside of the tire stuff, I never asked Steve to pay for anything outside of what was promised. Kindly the mechanic has been very honest with me and has said himself that he thinks I am being very patient and reasonable, he has even offered me a loaner while all this has been going on, and said he will keep working with me and do what's right since LRG motors, & Robert did not. Now Steve did attempt to help just to not finish the job, than bad mouth me to the mechanic, and than text me and say he went above and beyond and that he basically doesnt believe that I tried to get this resolved countless times over the last year. Yet I have proof that he didnt want to look at.. convenient.. he asked me to take the review down but after all this I feel its valid and every one should be very mindful when dealing with this company that they act like they will help to look good, and the moment you stand up for yourself all the sudden you the one taking advantage of them. It's very disappointing. My car is back in the shop again needless to say.. Update!: the parts he sent where bad parts and it's been a little over 30 days and they went bad. He lied and said he bought good Audi parts, come to find out he bought the cheapest, another huge lie from Steve at LRG. He has told people I am trying to take advantage yet I have asked for nothing but what they promised. (I have proof of all of this) he has now refused to replace the part that was just installed that is still under warranty. This is just a SUPER dishonest company and even worst dishonesty from the ower and employees. He has responded and said very rudely he will not replace it, and said he doesnt care if I take him to court that he has high paid attorneys.. read more

I had been looking to buy a Dodge Charger r/t for quite some time now and I finally found one that caught my attention at LRG Motors. I had send them a message that I was interested and I immediately received a call from them. I made a appointment and went in the following day to check out the car. The car had minor issues in the interior but it was expected, it's a used car and all used cars aren't perfect. ( I also like how they customize their cars to make it different from other cars.
