Bulgogi pizza, blackened chicken pizza, The monster kabob!
Jeff S.

It was all pretty good. Jackson was a great server. I expected a little more flavor. Nothing was "wrong", it just didn't "pop". Bulgogi pizza, blackened chicken pizza, and The Monster kabob. The chicken on the kabob was a little over cooked and kinda bland.

This is a very relaxed bar. There was ample parking in the area. We had reservations, and they seated us immediately. Our server was very nice, and the drinks were exactly what we wanted. I wanted tart and that's what I got. My friend wanted sweet and loved her drinks. The food was okay, nothing memorable. It's an excellent place for large groups.

Another great trip to this hip restaurant. We want to try it at night and see the live music upstairs. The atmosphere is well put together with color and lighting that sets the mood for a chill experience. Kennedy has waited on us every time and she is so full of energy and pep! The food has been outstanding and great dessert options too.

The place was packed and after arriving a couple of minutes after our scheduled reservation, we were taken upstairs to be seated. It felt like we were in two different restaurants, the vibe was not the same upstairs. I asked to be moved downstairs and the host obliged. The atmosphere was nice, great wall paintings and the food was superb!

Loved Brooklyn's! Beautiful spot, Delicious food, excellent service (Lundy was all things wonderful). No complaints - other than the parking ‍ But there is a parking garage in the area (a must for us non parallel parkers lol). I had the Bulgogi Fried Rice Wrap. Drinks - the Debutante & the Habanero Cucumber Paloma. Two very different drinks, both delicious. The Paloma takes even better the more you drink/sip it lol Can hardly wait to go back for live music upstairs (yes, there's an upstairs). Cozy spot that looks like it could get packed quickly (upstairs).

What a darling spot in my new favorite neighborhood. From the moment you see the door, you feel a beautiful energy bringing you into a relaxing getaway. The lighting inside is everything but it's not there to overshadow the food and drinks. I was adventurous and tried the bacon jam burger with their fries and was utterly blown away by the sweet, savory, and salty combination. The glass of Cabernet Sauvignon I ordered was absolutely massive and perfect but I was so surprised by the mocktail I was suggested. The lampone pop was so refreshing and just the right amount of sweet that it would be a delight to not drink at all. My server was friendly, perfectly timed, and incredibly funny. The only thing that lost this one star was that the bar was out of two separate drinks on a Saturday morning so I ended up ordering my third choice and a recommendation that were truly just as lovely.

Dirty Shot glass they gave me!!! Ewwwwww

Brooklyn's is a VERY nice place! The atmosphere was great, and I absolutely loved the live music! However, I was disappointed to see a dirty shot glass and a dirty towel, which definitely took away from the experience. Our host was SUPER slow with the service, but he was very nice, so maybe he just had a lot going on that night. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with a great vibe, but I hope they pay a little more attention to cleanliness and service. With a few improvements, this place could be even better!

Bulgogi wrap and a smooth gin martini.

Service was great! Jake did a great job of checking on us often and answered any questions we had on the menu. Food portions were big. Ambiance was perfect to sit and catch up with friends. We got there at 5:30 and it was fairly quiet but by the time we left, close to 8pm, they definitely had a bit more of a crowd.

Came back to Brooklyns and I'm so glad I did! First off, cocktails were a hit. The burger? Star of the show tonight! I will absolutely order it again. We also tried the bao buns, another must order. And the pizza -- thankfully they were able to accommodate my little one and keep it simple with a plain cheese and pepperoni. Already looking forward to coming back again.

Sat at the bar for bulgogi bao (definitely the star) and teriyaki naan pizza. The bao buns are soft and pillowy. The cabbage went well with the sliced beef and crunchy sticks. Very tasty. As for the teriyaki, it truly is halfway between pizza and naan. The crust is an interesting choice, and took a moment to wrap my head around. You're expecting to bite into a 00 flour thin crust but instead it's kind of chewy, not in a bad way, maybe in a rustic way, I guess like naan bread that's been shaped and cooked like a pizza would. The teriyaki sauce and onions were wonderfully made and the chicken was above average. Bartender was very friendly and professional. Shisho Verde mocktail was made with care and tasted like a fresh minty sparkling lime cucumber water. The space itself is intentionally darkened lit mostly with color LEDs and twinkle lights stretched across the room. Wall murals are distinctive. I loved being able to hear and see the kitchen at work. Music was loungey (bartender mentioned they want to turn the second story into a legit lounge) but not overbearing. Choose a cozy booth or a table near the large street side windows for an evening out. It's something in between a special occasion spot and a more casual lounge. You can feel how much someone's vision went into this place. I hope Fort Worth is worthy enough to reciprocate.

Pleasantly surprised by our experience on a Friday night. Happy hour drinks are available in the dining areas (not just at the bar) until 7:00. We ordered the caprese salad, monster kabob and blackened chicken béchamel pizza. Both were great! I actually loved the pizza. Our server, Carrie, was helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back.

I arrived while happy hour was taking place and had Carissa as my server. She was very helpful with recommendations. I ordered a feeling peachy cocktail which was $8 during happy hour . I was very pleased that along with my drink, kettle chips were placed on the table and boy were they tasty! Sadly, I can't say the same about the drink. It was a ton of ice and canned peaches at the bottom, but I could only taste the peach schnapps. I later ordered a debutante cocktail along with a monster kabob with veggies. The debutante was a better choice and the monster kabob was acceptable but the beef wasn't tender. The chicken and veggies were very delicious! The team there offer superior customer service , and I hope that the recommendations offered to the ( Londy) lead bartender are taken into consideration and improved upon. I'd return for the vibes and excellent service.

Nice moody design. Amazing service from Gene he's truly a gem. We arrived around 17:30 and was able to select our seats. The space wasn't crowded which is surprising for around that time on a Saturday. Gene recommended a few drinks and after reading the ingredients I chose the limoncello martini and I'm glad I did. I opted for the chicken penne alla vodka and although the chicken was tough and a bit questionable (I couldn't finish it) the sauce was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and eventhough we would've preferred some discretion with the delivery the chocolate cake was exceptional. Not sure I'll be back for a meal, but maybe for happy hour.

My late grandmother was a superb country cook and her name was Maggie. Good omen! We got there about 11:45 and got a table right away. Our server was Devin and she was terrific. We split the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The portion that they brought out was gigantic....plenty for two average appetites. What I really liked about it was - it was not over-breaded and it was fork-tender. (in my humble opinion, too many places are giving you a lot more breading that doesn't have meat under it. Yes, it's a first-world problem.) The mashed potatoes were also quite good, along with the cream gravy. I'm not a huge green bean fan, but my wife really liked them. This place has a cool vibe and we plan to return sometime soon. It's one of the top 3 CFS's we've had in Fort Worth / mid-cities.

We ordered nachos as an appetizer to split, along with two beers and a kids meal. What arrived was Motley Crue waking from a drug binge, raiding the pantry and trash, then declaring "let's do it." What was supposed to be nachos was anything but. The only explanation is someone who had never seen nachos tried to recreate them after hearing a rumor from someone at a Lowe's parking lot. The "chips" were not tortilla chips. They were rectangular strips of pale, flimsy material that looked like scraps of drywall film pulled out of a new construction site. An albino drywall experiment that somehow escaped the kitchen and landed on a plate. The entire thing was covered in barbecue sauce, with some mystery white liquid poured over the top. We assume it was supposed to be queso, but it definitely was not queso. Calling it queso feels disrespectful to actual queso. We ate maybe a quarter of it and decided we needed to leave before things got worse. Six hours later, we received an unannounced encore performance in the bathroom. I would avoid this place like a plague outbreak--unless you have an upcoming colonoscopy and want to skip the bowel prep.

I sat on the couch with my laptop, had a light bite and drinks, and it felt easy and casual. Definitely seems like a great spot to pop into for happy hour or a relaxed lunch. They were really good about helping me find an outlet and place to set up. And they didn't rush me out. I sat there for quite a while snacking with an iced tea. Second visit was completely different. Our company rented a downstairs section for 40+ people with a simplified menu, and the space transformed into much more of a high-end, speakeasy-style steakhouse experience. The food was delicious both times and the service was fantastic. My steak at the corporate dinner initially came out overcooked, and I felt bad even mentioning it, but they handled it immediately and the replacement was absolutely perfect. I'd 100% recommend Wicked Butcher for a company dinner or private event. The table service downstairs was impeccable, and it felt special without feeling stuffy.

It was pretty slow but that's probably due to the volume of people. We were there for like two hours. The place itself is so classy, it was a perfect stop. We also got complimentary champagne for the wait so I can't really complain. White Truffle Caesar: It was soooo fresh, I always get hesitant with caesar's because places tend to drown it in dressing to hide the wilted lettuce, this wasn't the case. It was very fresh and had a light truffle taste which i prefer to heavily truffled. 9/10 filet: cooked absolutely perfect. they brought out the wrong steak at first but immediately got it before we even noticed. The herb butter you can get with it is a must!!! it's so amazing and complements the steak perfectly. 10/10 rigatoni bolognese: it was a little spicy and i honestly loved that! it was a great pasta dish with perfectly al dente noodles. 10/10 steak tartare: hear me out, it tastes and smells like in n out hahaha! it's the fried onions they put on it, i liked it though. 7/10 hamachi crudo: soooo fresh. pretty simple but well done. 8/10 creme brulee: i was so tired so wanted it to go, apparently they don't do to go which i understand. I wish they told me that thought before he spooned my creme brulee into a plastic container. it wasn't good at all. 2/10 I should've had it in house so I'm not letting that affect the review. Overall amazing restaurant that i'd gladly return to and highly recommend. Our bill came out to $191 not including tip.

For an appetizer, we shared an order of their tamales. Now, I'm spoiled on amazing homemade tamales, and these were certainly very different than what I'm used to, but they were so good! I was very impressed. For cocktails I started with an espresso martini and layer I had a barrel aged Manhattan. Both met my expectations perfectly. The espresso martini had espresso, vanilla vodka and coffee liqueur. The Manhattan was your standard Antigua and Angestora but with the double-oaked version of Woodford Reserve (which is a favorite of mine). For dinner I had the Rockfish. It was amazing. A light, crunchy exterior and a moist, flaky interior with a very flavorful sauce and tender-crisp fresh veggies. It was surprisingly good.
