Went to Brooklyns for a family birthday dinner last night. Ambience is stellar. The murals are beautiful, the lighting makes everything glow. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous. Bartenders Lundy and Damian are wonderful, best cocktails we've had in a long time. Try the Habanero Cucumber Paloma, perfect amount of spicy and so refreshing. Espresso martini and cosmopolitan were perfectly balanced and shaken to perfection. We had the Raven bread, hummus, meatballs, monster kabob, bulgogi fried rice, and Asian salad. Everything was superb. All the meat was tender and flavorful. The raven bread was in a league of its own. It's so refreshing to try a new place and have it be positively divine & in such a gorgeous setting. We will most definitely be back. 10/10 impeccable. read more

We had a reservation for 5:45 . It took approximately 45 minutes before we were able to order even a drink. By that time, the restaurant was already out of several entrées and multiple alcoholic beverages. We also ordered an appetizer that took over an hour to arrive, and only after we flagged down another server to ask about it. During the entire four hours we were at the restaurant, our table never received a single refill of water. At one point, we changed our minds and decided to order an additional drink. Instead of simply taking the order, our server responded, "It's amazing how fast the human race changes their mind." We found this comment unnecessary and unprofessional. While we understand that serving a large group can be challenging, we made reservations in advance and expected the restaurant to be prepared. The level of service we received did not reflect that. At the end of the meal, we had to request our check and then waited another 45+ minutes to receive it. After asking to speak with a manager, our server responded, "Well, I can't please everyone." While we understand that no dining experience is perfect, the restaurant was not busy when we arrived, and the overall service fell well below expectations. read more

Ambiance: very good. Service: very good. Drinks: good. Food: good. What keeps me from giving Brooklyn's five stars is the menu. I like the variety of cuisines, but there weren't enough choices to make it a bit more appealing. I felt like I had to settle because nothing grabbed me. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the Korean beef. That being said, we enjoyed our visit there and will be visiting again to try the pizza. read more

What a darling spot in my new favorite neighborhood. From the moment you see the door, you feel a beautiful energy bringing you into a relaxing getaway. The lighting inside is everything but it's not there to overshadow the food and drinks. I was adventurous and tried the bacon jam burger with their fries and was utterly blown away by the sweet, savory, and salty combination. The glass of Cabernet Sauvignon I ordered was absolutely massive and perfect but I was so surprised by the mocktail I was suggested. The lampone pop was so refreshing and just the right amount of sweet that it would be a delight to not drink at all. My server was friendly, perfectly timed, and incredibly funny. The only thing that lost this one star was that the bar was out of two separate drinks on a Saturday morning so I ended up ordering my third choice and a recommendation that were truly just as lovely. read more

I took my neighbor here for her birthday and we really enjoyed the food. We ordered the Bacon Jam cheeseburgers and fries and they were delicious. Kennedy waited on us and she was top notch. She was very friendly and so energetic and helped us make our selections. Jr came to our table and spoke of the history behind the restaurant and he too was so kind and informative. This place is well put together and has a great atmosphere and they have dining on 2 floors with live music on the top floor. We will definitely be back. read more

Sat at the bar for bulgogi bao (definitely the star) and teriyaki naan pizza. The bao buns are soft and pillowy. The cabbage went well with the sliced beef and crunchy sticks. Very tasty. As for the teriyaki, it truly is halfway between pizza and naan. The crust is an interesting choice, and took a moment to wrap my head around. You're expecting to bite into a 00 flour thin crust but instead it's kind of chewy, not in a bad way, maybe in a rustic way, I guess like naan bread that's been shaped and cooked like a pizza would. The teriyaki sauce and onions were wonderfully made and the chicken was above average. Bartender was very friendly and professional. Shisho Verde mocktail was made with care and tasted like a fresh minty sparkling lime cucumber water. The space itself is intentionally darkened lit mostly with color LEDs and twinkle lights stretched across the room. Wall murals are distinctive. I loved being able to hear and see the kitchen at work. Music was loungey (bartender mentioned they want to turn the second story into a legit lounge) but not overbearing. Choose a cozy booth or a table near the large street side windows for an evening out. It's something in between a special occasion spot and a more casual lounge. You can feel how much someone's vision went into this place. I hope Fort Worth is worthy enough to reciprocate. read more

I arrived while happy hour was taking place and had Carissa as my server. She was very helpful with recommendations. I ordered a feeling peachy cocktail which was $8 during happy hour . I was very pleased that along with my drink, kettle chips were placed on the table and boy were they tasty! Sadly, I can't say the same about the drink. It was a ton of ice and canned peaches at the bottom, but I could only taste the peach schnapps. I later ordered a debutante cocktail along with a monster kabob with veggies. The debutante was a better choice and the monster kabob was acceptable but the beef wasn't tender. The chicken and veggies were very delicious! The team there offer superior customer service , and I hope that the recommendations offered to the ( Londy) lead bartender are taken into consideration and improved upon. We were going to see a performance at Stage West and my wife picked this restaurant near the theatre. We arrived early, a bit after 6 PM, so the place was just beginning to fill up. We had reservations and the hostess took us up to the 2nd floor. Overall it was pretty deserted, but had great ambiance. Becca was our server and bartender, she was on the spot keeping our water and beverage glasses filled. I had not eaten all day, so I ate a 12" meat lovers on my own. Wife and daughter had Asian fusion dishes they said were fabulous. We will come back when in the area! read more

The ambiance of this place is great. My husband and I went for lunch and it wasn't full at all. The service was not at all what I would have expected. We sat at the table for probably 10 minutes and no one came. It wouldnt be a big deal except it was only 2 other occupied tables. So when the waitress arrived we ordered drinks and food because we didnt want to be stuck waiting again. I ordered a Flying Private, my husband ordered a bourbon. We also were surprised to see the limited menu, which I guess was because it was lunch. I ordered a pizza, my husband the bacon jam burger. First my drink, while good, was not a lot for $15. The pizza was really good. Its on a naan bread crust which is different but it was loaded with toppings and tasted great. My husband didnt really like his burger. The bacon jam was good, but the burger patty had absolutely no flavor. The fries, however, were excellent. I would like to come back maybe in the evening and try more of the things that I saw on the menu. Though this experience didnt really leave me in a hurry to try again. read more

Nice moody design. Amazing service from Gene he's truly a gem. We arrived around 17:30 and was able to select our seats. The space wasn't crowded which is surprising for around that time on a Saturday. Gene recommended a few drinks and after reading the ingredients I chose the limoncello martini and I'm glad I did. I opted for the chicken penne alla vodka and although the chicken was tough and a bit questionable (I couldn't finish it) the sauce was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and eventhough we would've preferred some discretion with the delivery the chocolate cake was exceptional. Tried the Shrimp Scampi for a main course and the Snickerdoodle Cobbler as dessert. I eat a lot of shrimp scampi and this was by far the best shrimp scampi I've ever had. The dessert was just as good, with an amazing balance of flavors. Service was prompt and the food came out quickly. Ambiance was very nice as well with unique decor. Chef Cole has put together a fantastic menu. From a perfectly cooked Ribeye to a decadent bulgogi fried rice, from Texas to Korea and back, it works. Just left from our first, definitely not our last, to Brooklyn's. The hubby and I are so happy to have this new spot in our favorite part of Fort Worth! Let me start with how incredibly nice & welcoming everyone was. We stopped for tattoos and arrived a little later than we had planned. The restaurant is open until 12am and they serve food until 11:30pm!!!!! We ordered the potato wedges and they were FIRE!! We ordered two pizzas (blackened chicken & meat lovers) to go and both were delicious! Food came out hot, fresh and fast. While we were there, I had the cucumber habanero paloma and hubby had an ol' fashion. They were both PERFECT! We can't wait to return to try the meatballs and scampi. As for the ambience, the decor was beautiful all the way down to the utensils. Seriously, I'm commenting on how nice the utensils were. They were nice utensils, though! The decor is Moody Chic, perfect for South Main. I loved everything from the art to the furniture to the beautiful light fixtures. Did I mention how nice and welcoming everyone was? I'm probably spelling this wrong and my sincerest apologies if I am, Lundy was really nice and the bartender (my apologies, I didn't hear your name) was also so very, very nice! My husband and I have been walking past Brooklyn's the past couple of months. We hadn't tried it yet but last night we had to find a place to eat and thought we would walk over and give it a try! The bartenders, Lundy and Damien were exceptional! The drinks were amazing and crisp! We tried the Raven bread, Korean Bulgogi Rice, and Snickerdoodle bread pudding were nothing less than perfection! The atmosphere is hip and the owner is extremely friendly and kind! Go check it out! The story behind the restaurant was special to me. Ask the owner sometime when you check it out! Our group of six came out to try Brooklyn's and it was great! My wife had the grilled cheese on the D'ann & Martin potato bread with tomato and carrot bisque and she loved it. I had the Monster Kabob and the vegetables were so good. The chicken and beef were also good but the veggies made the plate. Our group tried three of the desserts - the cascading tiramisu, the chocolicious cake and the snickerdoodle cobbler. All were great but the snickerdoodle cobbler will make you come back. my friend said her gluten-free pizza was good. I ordered the monster kebab which was $25. It had one really good piece of steak, but the other piece had gristle and was very chewy and pretty much not edible the chicken also had one good piece and one piece that was way too big. They need to maybe cut the kebab pieces smaller and just do more on the kebab itself instead of four huge bites of meat that you have to cut up real small. The veggies on the kebab were fine. The veggie appetizer was really good. I don't think the veggie appetizer is worth $18 or whatever but it's fine. This is an upscale establishment that left me very underwhelmed. I will return to give them a second chance service was almost none. It was very busy and I only saw one waitress for the whole restaurant, the bartender brought us drinks from behind the bar and the manager(?) brought us glasses of water after we have been sitting there for quite a while and had already gotten our drinks from the bar. I hear people raving about this place, but the service was terrible so I need the food to be better to want to keep going back. Inside was very lovely. read more
