Normally Brooklyn pizza pizza is outstanding, but last night, it was off, not awful, just not the usual great pizza. Perhaps a new pizza maker as it seemed under cooked, my dumb husband added 1/2 pineapple, ugh, the other half our usual sautéed onions, too much maybe, then we got the train, maybe it steamed too much in the box, oh well, but the meatball special appetizer was awesome. Don't do pineapple! Lol read more

This place is out of this world, the customer service is the best. I got helped by Daniil, super good looking fella. Got Blown Away with how handsome he was. The restaurant was super clean, some of the best cleaning I've seen. Over all I had the best experience. I will most Definitely be going back. As soon as I walked through the door I got greeted with a "hi welcome in" nice big smile. Man Daniil, that man has the best customer service, he is a natural born leader, that kid has a Huge future ahead of him. read more

When I entered this establishment I was hit with wonderful Italian aroma, bringing back memories of when I lived in Italy. The service is amazing where they listen to you and not just hurrying you up to order no, they help you out to get what YOU want not what they want. The pizza is almost as it's straight from Italy the cheese melts in your mouth the sauce is made with perfection and the meats let me not get starred with the meats, it's fresh meats and that's what a true Italian wants. The location is perfect right next to the beach less than 5 minutes away. I always come here on Sundays grab a delicious true Italian pizza and take a stroll to the beach, it's just perfect. read more

Ordered a delivery order, the pizza was cold and the crust was too hard to even bite. Customer service was terrible and was just offered a 15% discount on my next order. There are many other better Italian and Pizza restaurants around here. read more

We absolutely love this place! We started with the meatball appetizer which came with 4 decent sized meatballs it was really tasty. Then we ordered A 1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 cheese pizza there was something special about the dough and the sauce is it was really good. These guys are really really great and friendly, the restaurant is clean, it's conveniently located next to Publix in a shopping mall and it's reasonably priced. Unfortunately there is nothing Brooklyn about this pizza. This might literally be the worst pizza I've ever had. The dough was tasteless . It was chewy it reminded me of pizza day in the school cafeteria. It was literally one step up from that. They were nice and gave me two pieces of pizza when I only ordered one I couldn't even finish the first one and I threw out the second piece. You guys might want to consider doing something else besides pizza because this really isn't your "thing" read more

I was very disappointed when I saw this at the door. Will definitely not recommend to come here and will never come here again. Wearing a mask is how people stay out of my ER. Getting a vaccine does not make you immune from catching COVID!!!! YOU CAN STILL GET COVID AND DIE! I've had 5 patients already die from COVID after getting the vaccine. So I came here on a Sunday afternoon asked for all the original slices that I'd usually get in a NY pizza spot and guess what they didn't have it! No ziti slice no Buffalo chicken slices. So we all know Florida knows nothing about pizza. When the avg person says do you want Pizza Hut it Dominoes you quickly know you're not in Brooklyn anymore! Well Amelia's doesn't just use the name Brooklyn. They are from Brooklyn and it shows. Fresh ingredients, hot, and tasty NY style crust. I gave this place 2 chances for Baked Ziti. It costs $17.99 plus tip $25. The red sauce in high school tasted better with pizza than their sauce. Way overpriced and they're using a NY name which stands for quality to sell dog food? I don't think so!!! Their sauce in canned. Nothing made from scratch. Their sign outside says "Brooklyn Pizza" and is an embarrassment for NY Pizza & NY food after 2 tries. I wasted $50 dollars in food that is worse than any fast food pizza/Italian place!!! We visited June 13, 2020. The establishment was clean and the seats were comfortable. It was an average pizza place. We ordered two round slices and one square slice. The server was friendly, but I would have preferred a bottle of soda over the machines, due to COVID-19. It is also notable that no associate was wearing a mask or social distancing. The pizza came out shortly, and it tasted good, but not great. We also ordered zeppploes, and they granted us a plentiful amount. I liked them. If it were possible, I would give this restaurant a 3.5/5, but in this case, I am failing to give them the push because there are many establishments in Pompano Beach and Boca Raton which make better pizza. Kostas, Augy's, and Pizza Time serve as examples. Overall, the service and pizza were good. It is worth a visit, but I am not certain that this will become your 'go to' establishment. read more

Any good reviews were previous owners New owners have destroyed this business. They have zero knowledge and will be out of business soon. I dont know if it is a pre-made crust or just some kind of press but it's like chuck e cheese or carnival or ball park pizza. It's fake. See picture. Like children playing restaurant. Too bad it's right by my work gives Brooklyn a bad name.why do people with zero experience or zero passion do things like this, ignorance I guess. read more

The pizza and the wings are my favorite! Is one of the cleanest pizza places i've ever been, all the sauces are homemade, marinara, vodka... they also made the dough ! The reason why is lil mark is because when the dough is recently fresh is so soft so it kind of melts into the marks of the metal trade where they put it... Ufff...very greasy pizza. The flavor is actually very good...but if you're trying to avoid having a heart attack in the next 50 years then a healthier option might be suitable. The pizza here is very close to authentic NYC style pizza...just way greasier than anything I've ever had before. I waited until I had been back a few times before writing this review. An 18" one topping pizza will set you back $20 without tax or tip. In this day and age of $5 pizzas this is actually pretty average price for non-chain large pizzas. Why the third star? Good service. I call in my orders for pickup and am usually told 20 minutes. 20 minutes after I hang up I have my pizza in hand. The kids working there are also hygienic and well mannered. I suggest you roll the dice on this one. read more

We have been ordering pizza from Amelias since we moved to lighthouse point 2 years ago. It was an amazing discovery just a half mile from our house. We have ordered from them regularly. At least 3 -4 times a month. Unfortunately, things have changed. We just ordered our usual pizza and when we both took our first bite we realized something wasn't normal. We noticed the cheese was very different. Not stringy nor melted. We knew they changed something. I called to ask and she wasn't sure about the change but did say they had new owners. Well there ya have it. It's obvious they changed to a much cheaper cheese as well as the dough. What a shame. Not our "fav" anymore. UPDATE: One would think after reaching out (emailing) to Amelias about our order they would have responded. Not the case. I guess customers (ex) opinions are not their concern. Too bad. read more

Today August 18,2023, Me and my family went to Amelia's Brooklyn Pizza for some good pizza and when we ordered we payed and my mother had said she own a certain amount of money and the cashier got an attitude over ONE PENNY so after that me and my family lost our appetite. While we were waiting for our food another older mother and daughter walked in and she was so kind and nice to them. Pizza was to oily and the garlic knots had too much garlic. Do not recommend. Found a new pizza spot! Im from New England, everyone knows the tri state area has the best pizza! When I moved here it was so hard to find a good spot nearby. The pizza in south fl just isn't good. Thought I'd try a different pizza. Ordered their meatballs. The size of a gold ball. I'm being serious. 3 for $12.00 ? They delivered my pizza cold and burnt I get a little bit for taster. But this was way too much. Also, as tough as nails to bite through. Had two pieces and dumped it. You won't see my business anymore. All of this for $40 plus tip.I could have gone to Sicilian oven and had a great chicken parm side of rigatoni meal with a tiramisu dessert on top for $50.00 You won't see me anymore read more

Let me first say my 3 star rating is Based on I'm from Brooklyn and know what Brooklyn pizza should look and taste like! Needles to say I was disappointed, when I paid extra for pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese, what was presented was borderline ridiculous! I have a no return policy on food, so I just accepted and left! I would say although it did not look like true Brooklyn pizza, no cheese and thick crust, fold ratio and grease zero! It was tasty! We have only taken out from Amelia's. Each time the pizza has come very hot, crusp & fresh. So good. We have also had their fried zucchini stick appetizer. So crisp and hot! Delish, but I would ask for ranch dressing with it, we did ask, but I think creamy italian was sent instead. However the owners are very accommodating, and the food is excellent!! read more

Very good pizza, served hot and fresh. Sauce is very tasty. The girls at the register were very nice and friendly. Would go back and enjoy a nice, hot pizza. Hoagies looked great, too. Nice size, will order this week, as I usually do Publix, but want to try something new. I would recommend this pizza place to anyone. We are in good shape medically, have more allegiance to our wallet than a movement. My partner makes great, fresh salads, so I can stay home for below average greens. But if you are committed and need to just get out, try it. I think a vegan frozen meal, Amy's is better. The salad wasn't horrible, just not worth the price. $20 for soggy, no flavor. Nope! I need flavor, price, freshness mix. Also they could do better with the ambiance. When you walk up, it seemed sad. It was empty, but zero personality. They need some music, it was quiet, somewhat moodless! Even dives have a little music. Rabbits have music LOL! Wish them luck! They have been around a while, so maybe they had better days! Why show stuff on TV that's not offered, pretty photos but disappointing for us. Good news, they are surrounded by great things, Italian to the right, Max to the left, pizza to the left. And Foundry at the end of other side! Partner ate half burger,trashed it. I ate 1/4 salad, trash. $50 in the garbage. I gotta laugh as we sat in our couch, we walked in and after 10 min, the energy felt off to me. We read the menu first. I said to my mate, "let's go elsewhere" after staff said, don't have this or that. My mate said, lets see. I went along. Intuition is never wrong! Trust yout gut, give it a try! Maybe tonight was just an off night! Go try it! Maybe it will be better for you! Im sure those reviews are real but maybe that real cook was off, amd we ended up with the no talent crew!
