Grill Octopus. A little overcooked in some places.
    Ian S.

First time visit, now long term customer. I found this place looking for pizza places and saw that the Greek food looked great. My wife and I gave it a shot and were very impressed by the food. First off, the service and services were good and very nice. The restaurant is older and the decor is dated, but I didn't come for decoration, I came for good food. I very happy to say, the food was very good. We started with the dip duo which had tzatziki and hummus. Both were delicious. They had great flavor and served with the seasoned pita bread, made it that much better. We shared the octopus and Greek wings for dinner. The wings were excellent. Great flavor, and a nice grilled exterior. The meat was juicy and very flavorful as well. The octopus was good but not great. It had good flavor and was grilled. My only complaint was that some of the pieces were a little over cooked and had some hard burn spots. Definitely going back to try the pizza. Saw several come out of the oven and they looked excellent.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA EVER!!! We went there for a Greek meal and LOVED it!! The service was quick, friendly and great. While there the owner told us we haven't had pizza until we have his pizza and gave us a slice to enjoy. It was delicious!!! We decided to go back the next day and try their Margherita Pizza. WOW!!!! He was 100% correct. It truly was the MOST DELICIOUS EVER!!! So much so that on Mother's Day we drove all the way there, an hour away, for two XL Margherita Pizza's for our family gathering. The pizza was a major hit!!!!! Will definitely be back again. Soooooooo worth the drive!!!!!

Kostas Greek Eatery - what a hidden gem! Everything here tastes fresh and homemade, and you can really tell the food is made from scratch. This is an owner-operated spot -- and yes, he's actually the one cooking for you, which makes the experience feel even more authentic. They have wood-fired Greek-style pizzas made right in front of you, which was such a cool touch. The hummus was super lemony and garlicky, served with fresh warm pita. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter and it was excellent -- the chicken was moist, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our friends ordered the octopus (not pictured) and I stole a bite -- easily a 10/10. Since everything is made fresh, the entrees took a little longer to come out, but the appetizers arrived quickly and were definitely worth the wait. Overall, such a great find and we'll definitely be back!

I can't say enough about this restaurant. Being a Greek woman and growing up in Greek restaurants my father and uncle owned my whole life this place touched my soul. My YiaYia and Papou would have loved everything. I almost cried eating their food it reminded me of home so much.

We went to a local food festival that was underwhelming and needed to get some lunch. A search of nearby places lead us to Kosta's. It's a (Greek) blue building with free parking. On entering, your senses are greeted by the aroma of pizza. And there is a pastry case right in front. We love Saganaki and ordered an appetizer to share. We all got gyro sandwiches because that's we were in the mood to eat. But we had to try the pizza. So, we shared a slice just so we could taste it. The Saganaki came with a plate full of pita bread drowning in olive oil and topped with spices and Parmesan cheese. We requested a plate of plain pita because of a few food allergies at the table. (We were not warned that the bread would be flavored.) The server gladly brought some. We wished our cheese was set aflame at our table. It was not. Nevertheless, with a squeeze of lemon, it was salty and tasty. We all liked our taste of the pizza. We agreed that it was very New York style and worth a meal the next time. The pitas were chock full of gyro meat that was delicious. Three of us could not eat raw onions, so they eliminated it. I have been to other Greek places where they will saute the onions for you. There was no offer of that service here, but we did not ask. Also, when we got the bill, we were charged for two side dishes of pita. We were never told that the Saganaki did not come with pita. Who eats it plain? The restaurant should be transparent with their charges. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food and definitely hope to return. One appetizer, 4 gyro sandwiches, 2 sides of pita, with tax and tip was $79.

I tried Kostas for the first time yesterday. I was so happy to find this gem of a restaurant. It is rare to find an owner operator that is so dedicated to food quality as I found here. Food is very delicious and everything they put out is with palatable intention. I drove 40 minutes to try Kostas after seeing them on "one bite". I will be coming back for sure.

I am so glad I found this little neighborhood gem! We got the hummus and falafel apps. Both were delightful but the star was the toasted and seasoned pita wedges served with the hummus, and they refilled our pita. Mains were the classic gyros and chicken souvlaki. The most generous pita sandwich I have ever had. The table near us got the chicken parm, which was a huge plate. I can't wait to comeback and work the menu. Servers were very attentive, prices reasonable, and nice portions.

Omg I am so happy to find this neighborhood gem. Their sign says "where everyone is family" and that's totally the vibe I get. Staff all seems to be Greek-speaking so it really feels legit. The dolmades are my favorite and I will make the 30 min drive just to eat these again. They are stuffed with (what appears to be) beef and a little bit of rice. Perfect texture, lemony sauce with fresh herbs. Soft grape leaves. My husband likes the gyro pita which has ample meat (lamb and beef) and crisp salad veggies. A slice a pizza is only like $3.25 so he loves to add a slice onto his meal if he's hungry. We saw a sign that the barstool pizza guy rated it very highly and he agrees it's great. The fresh garlic pita they gave us was an unexpected treat. Fluffy warm bread with chunks of garlic and parm and amazing tasting olive oil. Green beans are also great. Moral of the story is try them!! They even have parking. Very casual atmosphere (shorts tees etc.)

Had a great first experience here! The half-and-half, hummus and tzatziki dip was amazing. The warm and flavorful pita that comes with it was excellent. I also really enjoyed the chicken gyro as well. Tender chicken and delicious flavor. For dessert we split the pineapple cake that was homemade. Very fresh and light tasting. All of the other desserts in the case looked wonderful as well. Definitely would like to return soon to try more.

Was here with a ladies group. We were seated in a separate room with 2 long tables. There was a lot of people. Unfortunately, the service didn't seem to handle that well. We were would food & drinks for about an hour. I think they could have had an extra server & maybe that would have helped. The best part was the food. I was super impressed. I ordered spanakopita entree that came with a Greek salad. You could have ordered lemon potatoes, string beans or rice- I think. I chose the salad. I really enjoyed it. I took a slice of pizza to go. As a former NYer- I am very picky about pizza. It was delicious & reminded me of my pizza back in the day. Thin crust. I will definitely come back to try their Greek style pizza- maybe gyro- that sounds great. I was privileged to meet Kosta & we reminisced about NY Greek Restaurants & Nightclubs. All in all, a great experience & can't wait to come back!

The first thing we noticed, which was a bit unexpected, was the decor. The ambiance was really nice and inviting. This is the type of restaurant where someone could host a party. The service was really good too. We received water almost immediately after being seated, and our server came by shortly after. The manager stopped by throughout our visit to provide recommendations, and he was really nice. It made the experience feel more personal. For our appetizer, we ordered the Baba Ghannouj, which complemented the pita bread really well. It was our first time having it, and we did not know what to expect, but it was great. It was really flavorful, and we finished it wanting more. For our entrees, we had the Lamb Chops and the Seafood Tagine. The lamb chops were great. It was not a huge portion, but the meat was flavorful and cooked well. The presentation was also really nice. The Seafood Tagine looked great, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. Everything about the dish worked well together, and we felt that all the flavors complemented one another. There was a good harmony between the ingredients. For dessert, we ordered the Kunafa, which was another first for us. We had never had it before, but the description really sold us on it. It was really good. This is the kind of dessert that is best shared since it is a little heavy. Toward the end of our visit, a belly dancer came out to perform, and it was really exciting. La Vie is a great restaurant, and we will definitely return. We felt as though we got a true Mediterranean experience during our visit.

This was also my first time meeting one of the owners, Nonda, who warmly greeted me when I arrived. The restaurant was extremely busy, so my expectations were high, and somehow they still exceeded them. I asked for recommendations and started with the octopus. I normally never order octopus, but this completely changed my mind. It was bursting with flavor and served in a rich, herb-filled sauce that was so good I ordered pita bread just to soak up every last bite. Then came the lamb chops, which honestly were the best lamb chops I've ever had. Easily a 10/10. They were seasoned perfectly, tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. I kept thinking about them all night after dinner. The next day, I came back with a friend because I wanted to see if the food was truly that good or if they had just had an exceptional night. Once again, they delivered. We shared the octopus and my friend, who also doesn't usually like octopus, absolutely loved it. We also ordered the hummus with warm flatbread and a chicken skewer, both of which were delicious and perfectly seasoned. Of course, we both ordered the lamb chops again, and once again they did not miss. Also, I don't know what they do to make the lemon herb potatoes, but they are simply mouth watering and delicious. Feta Republic has officially become one of my favorite restaurants because the food is healthy, flavorful, fresh, and most importantly, consistent. That consistency matters. I definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be back again.

Food: Staff: Ambiance: Cleanliness: Ok so it was three for lunch today: My friends each got the gyro plate with french fries and I got the grilled chicken pita with french fries.... They raved about their gyros which were the traditional beef and lamb off the spinning spit. They both enjoyed their food and said it was very tasty with the cucumber sauce on it and in a toasted pita and the fries were perfectly hot and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They had baklava for desert and they enjoyed it but it was on the too sweet side my friend said but had the flavors it's supposed to. Mine was and is a bit difficult to rate as I felt the chicken was undercooked and felt gummy, it was lacking the Greek chicken flavor, had cucumber sauce and on a toasted pita but it came with fries and they were made just right. Hot and crunchy on outside fluffy on inside and salted perfectly. As for the staff, the lady who took my order was very nice and she read my order back to me that why I felt like the kitchen staff didn't like following orders or misread mine, cause I asked her to make my chicken well done no pink anywhere but that's not the way I got it. As for the place, it has a nice little ambience and the restroom was extremely clean, and you see waitstaff going around and cleaning as people get up to leave. So that's a plus but as for my meal, it was not very good to me.... So I have to give it what I feel is a fair rating considering my meal wasn't great, but theirs was. As I always say "check it out for yourself and decide". Be safe. Peace out.

I've…read moredriven 40 minutes when I'm living locally, and even when I'm traveling back to South Florida from Atlanta, Theo's is still on my list of places I want to eat. I've been several times now. I've brought my son Christopher, who loved it, and most recently I brought my girlfriend for a romantic date night. She had never been, so naturally I had to introduce her to one of my favorites. What I appreciate most about Theo's is consistency. There are few things more disappointing than falling in love with a restaurant, going back, and discovering that the experience depends on the day. That has NEVER been my experience here. Every single time I have visited Theo's, the food has been beautifully prepared, the service has been exceptional, and the experience has felt worth every penny. And the food... The Greek salad is ridiculously good for something so simple. That is actually one of the things I love about Theo's. Nothing has to be overly complicated to be exceptional. There is obvious attention to the ingredients, presentation, seasoning and execution. The Linguine Santorini is another favorite. Again, simple, elegant and perfectly executed. The lamb chops? Amazing. The vegetables? Amazing. The potatoes? Amazing. The octopus? Excellent. But listen... THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS. Y'all. Those Brussels sprouts might be the best Brussels sprouts I have ever eaten in my entire life. They steal the show every single time. I don't care what else you order, get the Brussels sprouts. What takes Theo's beyond simply having great food is the hospitality. The service is consistently attentive, polished and warm without feeling intrusive. And one of my absolute favorite touches: if you get cold during dinner, they have clean shawls available for guests to drape over their shoulders. As someone who is ALWAYS cold in restaurants, I cannot adequately explain how much I appreciate this. I can dress for dinner without spending the entire meal freezing. It's thoughtful. And those little details matter. Theo's is beautiful enough for a romantic date night, impressive enough for a celebration, and comfortable enough that I've also enjoyed bringing my son. I genuinely cannot remember having anything here that I didn't enjoy. If you have been looking at Theo's and wondering whether you should try it, GO. Order the Greek salad. Try the octopus. Get the lamb chops. Get the potatoes. And whatever else you do... GET. THE. BRUSSELS. SPROUTS. Food: Service: Atmosphere: Consistency: Brussels sprouts: Theo's is easily a 20/10, 1,000/10 experience for me and absolutely worth every penny. I'll be back. Obviously.

The service has been impeccable whether we are seated at tables inside, outside, or sitting at the bar. The staff were on their toes, friendly and always ready to assist even with a full house (and it has been a full house every dinner we've come here...trying to get reservations is the only part of visits we don't like). We've tasted a number of their signature cocktails. Our favorites include the Limoncello Martini, Spicy Margarita, Pear Sour and especially the Santorini Sunset (watermelon & basil vodka). You can't really go wrong with any of the selections. The wine list is also varied and superb. The menu is huge. Meze / Appetizers we go back for include the Fried Calamari, Grilled Mushrooms, Sardines Portuguese, Grilled Octopus. Don't forget Theo's Chips which are unique eggplant and zucchini! So tasty. While there are a number of delicious entrees such as Lamb Chops and Organic Grilled Chicken, the standout for us is the Whole Lavraki / Branzino. We order a large 2 pounder for 2 people. It is consistently, perfectly grilled and deboned, flaky and moist. We can't seem to forgo ordering this every time! Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of food and service, and gorgeous ambiance justify us coming back again and again.
