There was only one server working the entire restaurant, the poor lady. And her English wasn't great. The drinks were pretty terrible and the food was just OK. It is Italian & Brazilian food, I got the Italian food... based on the fact that the place was full of Brazilians, I bet the Brazilian food was much better. If I give the place another try, I will go for the Brazilian food. Greeted immediately, quite pleasantly and immediately seated when we arrived. Our server promptly asked if we wanted anything from the bar as it was happy hour. Our beverages came rapidly and we were provided water. The menu is extensive! The meatballs were ordered for an appetizer and they were full of flavor, each covered with ricotta cheese. The red sauce was not watered down or too sugared up. One of our party ordered a steak, another eggplant Parmesan, and chicken Parmesan. Each dish was excellent and piping hot!! Overall good. Nice to have a late night restaurant open. Food was average. Ordered the chicken parm & cheese ravioli.

First time here for karaoke on a Saturday night and dinner. The food was delicious came out piping hot, great service the whole night. The pizza was delicious and we had the seafood stew for two that was awesome. Fun crowd. The rolls before dinner delish flaky nice touch of seasoning and oil. Don't pass up on the rolls. We had two orders. The owner is very welcoming. Met lots of new good people. Plenty of room to sing and dance. The table setup was comfortable for being with friends in a group or as a couple. Love the long bench with the cushion back support and the chairs had good cushioning for spending a couple of hours in them. I would definitely come back and recommend Fornello. read more

The menu has way too many choices which made me hesitant of what to order. I had a "Angus" cheeseburger how bad can it be! One of the worst cheeseburgers I have ever had ... it had to be a frozen patty that was thin and overcooked with a weird flavor to it I did tell them and wasn't charged for it but I did not order anything else. We stumble on this restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. The salads were fresh, crispy and delicious (Caesar and Greek salad). Chicken parmesan sub was the best I've ever had. The hamburger was huge! I want to believe it's because they just opened, but they have a lot of kinks to work out. The food was not impressive. I had the penne marinara and I could have bought a box of penne pasta and tomato sauce at Publix and be better. My food came before my boyfriends and had to wait at least 10 mins before his food arrived so their timing is off. When it was time to pay , our waitress was nowhere to be found and when I finally saw her I tried to get her attention but she did not make any type of eye contact with me when I was signaling to please bring the check. The ambience it's ok. I will try them one more time. May try one of their brazilian dishes to see if it's any better, but as far as my experience with their pasta it was mediocre. I want to root for them , I live in the community but it was just disappointing. read more

A nice Italian style restaurant in Coconut Creek. Very nice sauce and very good choice of pastas. I had linguine and meatballs. Fantastic meat balls! My Wife had eggplant parmesan and enjoyed. Just moved in across the street from this restaurant. An absolute neighborhood gem. Owners, servers, bartenders and hostesses all go above and beyond. This was our 2nd time here already and our server Ludmila is the best. Highly recommend the shrimp lovers pizza. read more

Food is good. The restaurant needs to be cleaner. Bar and glasses are dirty. Wipe everything down regularly.

Slow service. Failure at Italian cuisine. inattentive employees. we waited at the host stand where nobody was there and we had to ask the bartender what they want us to do and he said to sit anywhere so we did. many people had no food at their table red flag. several pages of menu items another red flag and to no surprise the Italian food was not good. pasta tasted old. red pasta sauce tasted poor quality worse then ragu. If you come here come for the Brazilian food maybe but definitely not the Italian. I don't think there is a real Italian working here. The waiter kept lying telling us the food is almost ready then they said their chefs were changing shifts and who knows what else was going on back there. We could tell the place is not well run. We waited over an hour for our food. All of the workers looked tired and confused and that energy definitely pours into customers. read more

My wife and myself went into Fornello yesterday afternoon. We were pleased with the professionalism of the staff. We had a few cocktails and met some nice neighbors as well. The owner, a very nice man brought us our some garlic rolls and pizza, both were delicious and complimentary. I highly recommend anyone in the Coconut Creek area to try this place out. In addition, we love karaoke and they have karaoke on Thursday's nights. We will definitely be back!!! read more
