My experience eating at Restaurante Brasil was quite enjoyable. You're greeted by very friendly Brazilian waitstaff. Unfortunately, it took a member of our group to explain how the restaurant pricing worked -either $30 all-you-can-eat or the option of paying for your dish by the pound -while the waitstaff remained mum on the subject. The buffet choices were plentiful with ox tail stew being a favorite and many vegetables I experienced for the first time. Further down the "chow line" was the opportunity to choose from fresh-cut beef, lamb, and chicken. With this said, some buffet items at the dinner hour were already depleted with trays holding food that were lukewarm or cold. The salmon appeared either overcooked or perhaps cooked yesterday. For me this place is solid. Food already made. Serve yourself(plastic gloves provided). I tried a meal plan service earlier this year and yeah it was cool and all but pricey. I learned portion control, but not regular portion, I learned 'weight cut' portion control... So my Mon-Fri is gonna look like this. This was my first time back since the pandemic but I've been a loyal follower since they opened. I was pleased to see that they make you wear gloves/mask while serving. It's also very accommodating for take-out. The sanitary steps in place should be advertised better and they will have a huge following. Randomly found this restaurant in a pretty ghetto plaza but it is a gem! Located right next to the Western Beef on a corner, this little cafe has some delicious meats and sides. It's very similar to Texas de Brazil, lots of Brazilian style cuts of meat. Due to coronavirus, the experience has changed from buffet style to choosing entrees from behind the counter. The meals are priced by weight. I got the garlic picanha, pork sausage, and ribs, along with mashed potatoes, brown rice and this yucca flour fried beans and bacon bits. The meats were a bit dry but very flavorful and delicious. The winning part was the mashed potatoes. It was absolutely delightful. Will definitely go back and try more things. This place happens to be one of the worst restaurants that I have visited in a long time. Let's start with the good, the bottled water was refreshing, and the perfect complement to wash down the food, the restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. The meat was typical Brazilian fair, the garlic picanha was so dry I almost choked on it, the flank steak which was a medium to medium-well was barely OK, the lamb was so bad and dry, I couldn't swallow it. The sausage was virtually tasteless and way overcooked. Now if you think that is bad, move onto the mashed potatoes that were far from homemade, the french fries were of the frozen variety, most of the food on the serving area was cold. Without even trying Texas de Brazil reached a plateau unthinkable for a restaurant in comparison, and if you ever go to a restaurant and think you have bad food, please visit this establishment have a meal, then go back to that other restaurant, and you would have a meal fit for a king. If you want to try Brazilian food but is not sure how or where this is the place. The system is by the pound, you go through a big buffet of choices, including the famous churrasco, and in the end your plate gets weighed. It's an opportunity to try a little bit of everything. I personally recommend the chicken salad, I always get some rice and beans and some chicken/meat from the bbq. I appreciate this place because they always have a great variety even for someone that's trying to be good with their food, the salad part of the buffet is quite large. If there is one little con is the desserts, I wouldn't spend money on it, have a cafezinho instead! Been here 3x. Very friendly staff. Buffet has great selection of letucce and veges to build a nice sald. Nice assortment of prepared entrees and vegetables also on the buffet. Always fresh pineapple and sliced oranges. Besides the usual grilled meats they actually have chicken sausage. Always spend less than $7 for lunch and I walk out happy and full. Okay. I want to love this place. My family and I have had so many delightful meals here. But two things have happened that kill restaurants. First, they clearly have a new owner. The last couple of times we've been there the whole staff and management have been new. Second, a YouFit gym has opened next door, which is killing their parking lot. This place ought to be the best restaurant in Boca. But tonight we came home with a box of charcoal. Three meats, all burned beyond recognition. You can blame the guy running the rotisserie wall. But the real fault here is the owner/manager, who is saving on costs by keeping his meats on the spit for too long. We came at 6 p.m. on a Monday. That's dinner hour. The meat we were served and paid for should have been taken off the spit at least two hours before that. I want to echo the love coming from all the people here praising this place. But the dried-out burnt meat has become the standard here. We've been served like this three times in a row. That's a strikeout. I want to love this place. But the person or people who made this one of the best places to eat in Boca have given it over to some small-change management who don't mind serving you burnt meat. Be better! read more

If i could put 0 stars for this place i would. Terrible management and staff. Went there to eat and they put sugar in their vinaigrette without specifying it. My mom has diabetes and cannot eat anything that is sweet. She asked if the manager could change her plate because the vinaigrette was sweet and all the sauce of it had gotten on the rest of her food and he refused by saying it would cost him money by changing her plate.
