We stopped here for lunch today as we were nearby. They had a section of the menu with lunch specials. We both decided on chicken entrees -- his piccata style and mine Francese. Both of us chose angel hair as our pasta. We were first given rolls -- half garlic and half plain. I had the plain rolls which were hot from the oven and quite good with butter. The two chicken entrees vane next. The only difference seemed to be that my entree had mushrooms and his had capers. Both chicken pieces were breaded. The angel hair pasta might have been better if it was a little less cooked and not swimming in sauce! I asked for some more lemon wedges and that helped the taste somewhat, but the dish was still a bit too soupy for me. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know. read more

What a great place to stop for lunch! A colleague of mine and I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon at around noon, we were quickly seated and greeted by our server, Luiza. It feels like everything at rotelli is about high quality and large portions. The drinks were tasty and in very large cups, the garlic rolls were flavorful. I had the chicken piccata and she had the chicken francese on a plate of pasta and both were excellent. Wonderful service, comfortable booth seating, and affordable pricing averaging less than $25 per person all-in. They do have lunch specials as well at about half that cost. I was here with a girl friend of mine for lunch on Sunday ( 12/1/24) and we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and an arugula salad . The arugula salad was really good we split it, and there was definitely enough for 2 people. The pepperoni pizza was just ok .. a lot of grease, crust was heavy, reminded me of high school pizza as a kid. ( my opinion) . The service wasn't the greatest waitress was slow, but in her defense there was a large party there for a holiday party just after we arrived. We love a lot of restaurants in South Florida, but Rotelli (in Coconut Creek) is one of our favorites. In part that's because of their great food, including one of the most delicious penne a la vodka meals I've ever had. But the biggest point in their favor is the service, which is second to none. Yasmin is one of our favorite servers, from anywhere we've lived. She knows exactly how to make her customers happy, whether it's their 20th visit or their first. My mom has food allergies that make her orders a bit unusual but Yasmin always remembers exactly how to enter it. And she's always a delight to talk to. The owner is fantastic too. Always says hello no matter how busy she is, ready to resolve any problem that arises. This place really makes clear that the staff care about your experience. This time I'm going to review the people that work behind the counter. I went to pick up some meat sauce as soon as i open the door there is this guy working in the kitchen that probably woke up in a bad mood but looked at me like he wanted to kill me. It was 11:30 am doors were open to the public. If the restaurant is not open then keep the doors closed. I told the lady in the register what i needed but first asked the guy why he looked at me like i did something wrong. Not kidding If I say I thought he would grab a knife. We got calamari as an appetizer which came with a lemon and 2 marinara sauces. I hadn't had Rotelli in over 10 years because of a chef at Rotelli (from Palmetto/441) yelling at me about rising gas prices when I presented an "Enjoy the City" coupon. Love this place and their Italian food! We needed a new to us Italian restaurant after our favorite restaurant turned to the dark side and began charging Darth Vadar prices for crappy food. This Rotelli suits our needs - the wait staff is friendly and efficient and the food is terrific! One night we came in when it seemed like an entire high school of teenage girls was there celebrating graduation. We had ordered iced teas and decided it was too much estrogen and noise for us so we asked for the check to pay for our drinks and leave. The waitress got the manager, who comped us the drinks. Needless to say when we returned it was a pleasure to tip the wait staff and order the food we enjoy!!! I highly recommend this place! read more
