Today 40 of us went to Livello's for a Garden Club Luncheon. Located in the Michael's Plaza on University in Coral Springs. Our servers were exceptional and attentive! We were served promptly and frequently since it was family style. The food was delicious! We had Caesar Salad, Pear Pasta, and Meatballs as appetizers. We also were served a pasta dish, a Lemon Chicken and a Salmon. For dessert we had Tiramisu, Cannoli, A Cookie and a Mocha Pudding. I highly recommend Livello's for an individual or group meal! We celebrated my 60th birthday here and ever since, this has become my favorite restaurant. Chef Bruno (formerly of Tavalino) is doing remarkable things here. From gorgonzola crusted lamb chops, delectable mussels, house-made pasta, chicken cutlet alla vodka with prosciutto, and of course his famous Sicilian Amaretto cookies, without a doubt, you will find something you love. The menu changes monthly, and the daily specials can't be missed. They serve lunch Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-3pm. The lunch menu has a little bit of everything and right now they are offering a three course lunch for just $25.00. What got my attention, was their new addition of made to order prime burgers to the lunch menu. I love a good burger, and the one I had was amazing. We dined at Livello tonight and had an enjoyable experience. We started with the zucchini flowers stuffed with burrata. The dish was well prepared, but I personally wasn't a fan of the burrata served hot I'm more accustomed to it being cold, so that threw me off a bit. For the entrée, we had the prime strip special, which was excellent. It was served with potatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, and broccoli rabe, topped with a really tasty cheese that tied everything together beautifully. This was definitely the highlight of the meal. Dessert was a custard pie with fruit, whipped cream, and grated dark chocolate. The accompaniments were great and well balanced, but the pie itself was just okay, not bad, just underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal. What truly made the evening memorable was the service. Amazing from start to finish! They brought us some focaccia bread to start, it's freshly baked in their wood burning oven, just perfect! Started with the pear fiocchi appetizer with Gorgonzola cheese sauce and walnuts. Our waitress, Michelle said it's their signature dish, it's fantastic! My only issue was that I ordered it well done however it did not seem that way. The bottom of the pizza was rather soft and flimsy. I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday night. Be aware that a credit card is required to secure a reservation, and you'll need to confirm via email on the day of your reservation. On the reservation it asks if you are celebrating anything. I entered that it was one of our parties birthday. Nothing was said by our waiter: Why ask? I didn't say anything while we were there because I was anted to surprise her. The atmosphere inside was lively, but the volume of conversation was extremely loud, making it challenging for those with hearing difficulties. Dining outside might be a better option if you prefer a quieter experience. Our server, Isaac, was efficient but lacked enthusiasm. He presented the available steaks and recommended the most expensive option as his favorite. The wine pours were generous, but it felt like he was pushing for an additional sale rather than genuinely recommending a pairing. Notably, he didn't ask about food allergies, which seemed like an oversight. The food, however, was a highlight. We enjoyed: * Livello's Whipped Ricotta ($28): rich and flavorful *. It's not a huge place, which is great, but enough space and room to accommodate 2 people for date night or 10 for a birthday at a table. There is also seating outside and at the bar facing the open kitchen. **Note: they do not serve liquor!** The food .... MY GOODNESS. From start to finish everything we ordered was freakin' fantastic. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the lobster in my pasta; it was a bit fishy and tough, but still edible enough. I would just order something else the next time I go because the short rib my mom had was insanely tender and delicious. Because everything is homemade/made to order and you can certainly tell how high-quality the food is, it does take some time to get to the table, but it is so worth the wait. Last evening, I tried Livello Italian Bistro in Coral Springs, FL. As often as I have gone to the shopping plaza that this restaurant is located in to shop at Doris's Italian Market, I never noticed this restaurant. Livello's was opened in December, 2023. My only regret was that I didn't know about this restaurant sooner. It is not a large restaurant, so I would recommend a reservation as the restaurant fills up fairly quickly. I ordered the Branzino with lump crab topping. It was absolutely delicious and the portion size is large. That would explain why people were walking out with bags as I was walking in. My daughter and son-in-law both decided to try the pizza that was also on the menu. They bring out bread with olive oil and herbs first. My son-in-law and I both ordered wine first which was also very good. The restaurant is slightly pricey with entrees ranging from the thirty dollar level to their very large pork chop (wrapped in prosciutto) which is priced at $95.00. This restaurant compares in price to Eddie & Vinny's Coastal Italian restaurant (also in Coral Springs), but Eddie and Vinny's is much larger. The service was also very good. The restaurant has an open kitchen, so you can see your food being prepared. Whether a special occasion or you want a fine meal, I DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant! read more

This is a relatively new restaurant, by a popular chef that decided to go on his own. My wife really wanted to try it. We showed up without a reservation, and apparently one is recommended. Luckily it was a bit late, around 9 PM and they were able to accommodate us, with the warning that the kitchen would close in about an hour. The place small and intimate, with a elegant ambiance and friendly service. Our waitress was helpful and answered our questions with a smile. I started with a lobster bisque that was excellent! We had a couple of glasses of a good Argentinian Malbec wine, and a delightful sea food dish for two. Wow! That dish was excellent. There was such a variety of flavors and textures. Every bite was a journey of flavors. They offered a dessert after, but sadly we didn't have any room for it. If you are in the area looking for a fine dinning experience, this is a great choice. I love that they try new things. I got the French onion short rib dip, it was very good but very heavy. I only ate half and wish it had come with a salad. I took the rest home and look forward to eating it later. My mom got the chicken ceasar sandwich and it was phenomenal. The chicken was crispy but the ceasar dressing and lettuce were so light and fresh. Very well balanced. My dad got the wild mushroom pasta. It was also very good. Their pasta was cooked perfectly. Came to Livello lured by the fact that ot is owned by the chef of a very popular Italian restaurant in Coral Springs that is no longer there. We didn't have a reservation. It was a weeknight at 8:00 pm so it wasn't busy. The restaurant is quite small, but quaint. Tastefully decorated. I especially loved the wine glass display and the copper pizza oven. We were served delicious flat bread complimentary to start. I didn't get an appetizer since we were told they closed at 9:00 pm. I got a glass of a Chilean Carménère, which was very good. They have a nice wine selection. My husband had a lobster bisque soup which he loved. We went for the special; Sea food risotto for two, which was hands down the best I have ever had. We are so lucky to have a place like this in Coral Springs. Came here for my birthday dinner and was blown away. The restaurant looks unassuming from the exterior, inside it's decorated nicely. Not steakhouse level fancy but not quite a sports bar either, though there is a tv. There is no liquor, only wines and their mixed drinks are wine based. That being said this is some of the best and unique food flavors as well as the best service I've had in a while. We had the wood fired salmon and the chicken Madeira. Both excellent! They were very accommodating and offered us bar seats until a table opened up. Needless to say, we never left the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the open kitchen view. The food is to die for!! Every bite is a party in your mouth with amazing flavors. The carrot cake just melts in your mouth and the portion is more than generous. For a small hole in the wall restaurant that I've never heard of before yesterday, this place was absolutely incredible. I embarked on a culinary experience that I was not at all expecting. The simplest piece of complimentary took me by surprise and let me know that the chef loves what he does. I can write more, but you can order it and try it for yourself. My wife's and my main dishes, crispy bone in fried chicken cutlet covered in a fresh rich vodka sauce and a side of homemade mouth watering tortellini, and a savory homemade pasta with melt in your mouth perfectly cooked and sliced filet in a beautiful mushroom sauce. My mouth is watering as I write this, need I say more. We were in complete bliss and stuffed when the desert menu came by.... I couldn't say no. We shared a slice of the pistachio cheesecake. It was so light and airy yet filled with flavor. It was incredible and a great end to a perfect meal. My favorite restaurant of all time is Gordon Ramsay's Steakhouse in Las Vegas . We were seated within 5 minutes with no reservation. But my client stated it gets very full on Friday. We went on a Thursday. The appetizer bread was pizza dough with amazing flavor and accompanied by oil in a very fancy metal mini cup. We ordered a puff pastry filled with beef based on the recommendation of our client. I need to tell you this plate was off the charts! I was full with one of the two that came in the plate but trust me I wanted to keep eating. The flavors inside cooked to perfection blended exquisitely with the perfectly crusty pastry. Mix of salty and sweetness I needed for my life! Ambiance: 1 star. Small room, too many tables, crowded and very noisy. The food more than compensated for the atmosphere. We started with artichokes and crispy calamari appetizers. Both were excellent. Our meals were outstanding. Strawberry Grouper, Tomahawk Pork Chop, a special Giant Shrimp and Crabmeat on Pasta, and Sunday Gravy. The Sunday Gravy is a ridiculously huge dish: sausage, ribs, meatball, pasta; this could have fed a whole family. It was also a bit too peppery. We had saved room for dessert and were glad we did. I stopped here for brunch on the weekend since it had a lot of good reviews on yelp. The servers and waitress were extremely nice and attention to detail so I was really pleased with the service they provided. We ended up ordering chicken and waffle and a brunch burger. Both the meals were good in themselves but some small details that would make this 4 stars. The waffle was under all of the fried chicken and crispy brussel sprouts, all of the items were amazing and the chicken was crispy and juicy but the real let down was that the waffles were soggy underneath all of the other items. Like I said, it was a really good meal, but waffles were bit disappointing. The presentation was 5/5 for both dishes. The burger was pretty good too but I think too many different flavors with the bacon jam and the honey sriracha aioli. Everything sounds and even looks amazing but I would give it 4/5.
