Perfection "The Flirt" Martini
Tracy C.

Screw that one star review, this place is amazing! Go to their website to find pics of EVERYTHING and it all looks DELICIOUS Good news, it tastes just as good! Bartender Mikhaila is friendly and chatty, and hilarious , making everyone have a good time. I had "the flirt" martini and a spicy (not actually spicy) tuna bombs that come in little puri shells SO GOOD Very excited to try everything - especially as the owners also own dear Olivia in parkland, and it looks like they moved their carrots to here - I missed those!

Ember & Vine is located in a plaza on Parkland and is in the location that was Angelo's Italian restaurant. It had such a lovely, inviting atmosphere that makes it a wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch. It has a lot of inside seating with tables and booths. I ordered the cappuccino, which was a delicious complement to the farmers market quiche, with its satisfying savory flavor. Both were delicious and made the meal feel especially enjoyable. It's a little on the pricey side, but the quality and overall experience made it feel worth it. Definitely a place I'd happily return to! I hope that it does well. It also offers dinner in the evening time.

Very chic restaurant with polite staff and an amazing menu of different creative options. Our server Cesar was attentive. The food was brought out slightly out of order but everything was beautifully plated and tasted good. My favorite was the carrots with fried halloumi and honey. My next top dish was the lobster vodka pasta. Big pieces of lobster meat and the pasta was cooked al dente. The hangar steak with potato latkes was tasty. The duck pappardelle had a bit too much orange taste for my palette but my other friends enjoyed it. The veal chops were very good and cooked medium rare. The spinach dip and pita came out a little cold. The hearth bread had amazing honey butter dip and the foccacia was fluffy. The chips and dip was a creative twist on a loaded potato. The overall ambiance was very nice but a little loud for talking.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had at Ember & Vine at their soft opening fundraiser for the George Snow Scholarship Fund. I love the idea of sharing tapas style with family and the food was absolutely excellent! I would highly recommend the tuna bombs as it was one of the best tuna appetizers I've ever had. We also loved the beet salad, carrots, and veal meatball. For dessert we had a carrot Bundt cake with pistachio gelato, it was so tasty and flavorful without being super sweet. Everything was so delicious and you can tell a lot of thought and craft were put into the menu. The service was excellent. Our server Sam made great recommendations and was really helpful and nice. In addition, I feel like multiple people stopped by our table to see if they could get us anything and asked about our experience. I felt so cared for! This space is beautiful. It used to be Angelo Elias but they really updated this space nicely and the vibe is impeccable with great music and atmosphere. We had such a fun night! Highly recommend this place for a night out with family and friends!

Truffle Caesar

Ember & Vine was fantastic. Great addition to Parkland/Coral Springs. The restaurant was packed on Friday night, but we were seated pretty quickly. The plates are all shared plates so the size varies. The Truffle Caesar, Spicy Tuna Bombs, Wood Roasted Oysters, and Day Boat Scallops were all great. I cannot wait to go back!

Wowww I saw a reel of this spot and couldn't wait to give it a try!! We came for breakfast time and I couldn't be more excited for how great it was! They have a legit menu with so many options to choose from. You could also see they have a high quality espresso maker for all the coffee goodness! I ordered the seasonal pumpkin maple cold foam iced latte. It was out of this world good. Better than Starbucks pumpkin spiced drinks. It had a perfect mix of coffee and pumpkin flavoring. I definitely would order it again. For food they had so many great choices but I landed on the ham and cheese croissant. I thought it was great. The flakiness of the dough really added so much to every bite. I loved the interior decor of this spot and really think between the ember and vine literal design and seating it really feels comfy. I do think some lounge seating like couches or coffee shop decor could add a lot to the environment as the booths seem a bit too sterile for a breakfast coffee shop vibe. That's just a small complaint tho. I definitely would stop by again at Ember and Vine to give it another shot! They also have dinner so I could only imagine it's just as good as this breakfast food selection then I would be sold.

Their sharing of small plates concept is such a fun departure from more traditional dining. The food is incredible!! I had high expectations, as Eddie and Vinny's is my favorite restaurant, but they really blew us away! We started off with their roasted rainbow carrots with hot honey, and grilled halloumi cheese. it was so delicious. I honestly could make a meal out of just that alone. Next, we had their vodka rigatoni with lobster, pancetta, and stracciatella cheese. This was incredible and a much larger portion than I expected. There was SO MUCH lobster...it was packed!! The lobster was so tender and perfectly cooked. Also, the rigatoni is freshly made in house. After that, they brought out our seared scallops over a corn purée, along with the most delicious corn shaped, corn soufflé. Spectacular! After dinner, they serve complimentary hot peppermint tea, sweetened with agave. For dessert, we got the warm carrot cake with pistachio ice cream, which was scrumptious. We also got their lime in the coconut dessert, which is homemade Keylime pie gelato served in a coconut shell with toasted coconut shavings. Another winner!! I couldn't resist, and we purchased two of their butter cake pops to take home. Luckily, our favorite Eddie and Vinny's server, Martina was in and our server for the evening. We absolutely love her, and she never steers us wrong when guiding us through the menu. I had read their reviews before going, and I saw a few people mention the noise level as being extreme. Because of this, we got there when they opened at 5:30. By the time we left it was really getting loud and the bass from the music was a lot. I know this is a dealbreaker for so many people, but I strongly recommend going and getting there when they open if that is a problem. I talked to Martina about it and she said they had someone in recently to see what they can do to help with the sound. Hopefully whatever they do will help.

Came here for dinner with some friends and had such a nice experience! The restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing inside. moody lighting, great music, and a really nice atmosphere. One of the managers was there and greeted us, gave us a little background about the place, and made us feel very welcome. Everyone was super nice and polite. The food is tapas style, so we ordered about 8 plates to share. Everything came out really quickly, and honestly, everything we tried was really tasty! The portions are on the smaller side since they're meant to be shared, so definitely order a good amount if you're coming with a group. Overall, such a fun spot for dinner with friends!

This little gem is hidden away in a plaza I had driven by many times before and had never realized…read moreit was there. On the outside plaza, you can see a "coffee" sign instead of the name. We arrived early and it was nice and quiet, then it got super busy so arrive early if you're hungry! The place is really cute inside, service was quick. Ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese croissants and the croissant was nice and soft but crispy, and were really good. We also ordered the tequeños which were ok. I wish we had tried one of the specialty sweet croissants, the looked absolutely delicious. We loved our coffees, both frappes, one chocolate, one nutella. Very good size and flavor was perfect. Not too sweet or over the top. They also have an outside seating area, so it is perfect for when the weather is less hot. Will definitely be coming back.

Great Food, but Very Disappointing Service I really wanted…read moreto continue supporting About a Cup because I genuinely enjoy their food. Unfortunately, after five visits with my family, the repeated issues with my drink orders and my most recent experience with the service have left me extremely disappointed. Every time I order my tea, I clearly explain exactly how I want it: milk tea made with milk, not water, with two Splendas. This is not a complicated order, yet every single time my drink has been made incorrectly. After having the same issue repeatedly, I understandably became frustrated. What made this visit particularly upsetting was the way the situation was handled. Instead of trying to understand why I was frustrated or simply correcting the order, the person in charge, CiCi, came out to confront me. I found her tone and approach extremely condescending and unprofessional. As a customer who has returned five times and continued giving this business another chance, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect--not made to feel as though I was the problem for pointing out a repeated mistake. I want to emphasize that the food is very good, which is exactly why my family and I kept coming back. However, good food alone cannot make up for consistently incorrect orders and poor customer service. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Customers should be able to politely explain how they want their order prepared, especially after experiencing the same mistake multiple times, without being confronted or spoken to in a condescending manner. Sadly, after five visits and five opportunities to get a simple drink order right, this experience has made me reconsider returning.

He ended up hanging out with us and talking about reality TV and different places he wants to possibly move to. We ended up sitting there for four hours chit chatting. But today at noon it was a calm place where I could meet up with my friend, sit in one of their plush booths, savor some good food, and chit chat to our heart's desire. We had a great time. Service was on point: cordial, fast, efficient and he would anticipate even our box request! We really appreciated that! Anyway, our lunch meetup was a success and the food we had was delicious. My friend had a burrata chicken parmigiana and it was nice and big that she will be happy to have some more lunch later today - haha! I had the 1lb ribs and they were big and juicy and came with fries. Also: I will enjoy some more tomorrow! Yay! So this place was great and we will be happy to return next time we are in this side of town. Enjoy!
