Good basic Italian good. Not fancy, but staff super friendly and accommodating. We were a very large group and they took great care of us. They have really good lunch specials. I had a house salad, a slice of pizza, and 1/2 an eggplant parm sandwich for $10. Tough to beat that. Other lunch specials also for very good prices. Overall a nice family friendly place with pretty good, reasonably priced food. It's definitely not fancy or super special, but if you're looking for basic Italian food, it's a good choice. My family and I love this place! Most of the bad reviews I see are from people using 3rd party delivery and they provide their own free delivery so there is no need!! You can't beat the lunch special. Less than $11 for a half sandwich, soup/salad, AND slice of pizza! Our dinner favorites are: penna al vodka, salads, bruchetta italiano, and rice ball. The soups are homemade and sometimes need a little salt. And the garlic rolls are THE BEST! The servers we frequently see are Yasmine and Sam. They are both so sweet! They probably think I'm crazy because this place is on my pregnancy craving list so we are there all the time lol read more

This one of our go to places for dinner. The salads are always fresh and the Gorgonzola served in a bread bowl is wonderful. We usually get this and another entree or pizza to share. We usually never get just pasta but we did on our last trip and is was just OK. That's why I only gave four stars. The other dishes like the eggplant parm was great and the portions are huge. Love the garlic rolls too! Ice tea is overpriced so order water. Lol. Their pizza is good but ask them Not to put soooo many toppings on it because it gets soggy. Or just put one topping like mushroom. They also have a free pizza coupon if you get 10 take out pies. We have been to a few of the locations and they are all very similar. The food is so yummy but the location is a tough call. The traffic around this intersection and the nearby radius is pretty intense and it's probably worth ordering delivery instead and paying the fee. I would have to assume this congested area affects much of the business, because it's always empty when I drive by. This said, I ordered take out from here last week in person. My initial interaction with the server was dry. She seemed irritated and impatient. Not unfriendly, just dry. There were two tables seated in the whole place, and it was around 5:30pm in a Tuesday - but they seemed frazzled like it was a Saturday night. I ordered simple things for the family. Two grilled chicken wraps and one chicken parm sub. The wait became long, and I left to get my kid from her afterschool activity. I came back and it still wasn't ready. Another twenty minutes later we were out of there. It totaled almost an hour for these meals. I got home and there was one wrap and one chicken parm sub. I was so frustrated and hungry I called ready to jump down somebody's throat. The owner or manager (a lady who sounded like she had a Portuguese/Brazilian accent but I didn't catch her name, sorry!) got on the phOne and was very apologetic and sweet. This is why I am leaving FOUR stars and not three, despite the fumble: 1. The food was darn delicious. The wrap was really fresh and the sauce was on the parm was tasty. 2. The manager sent her driver to my house in less than ten minutes with the missing wrap and also some garlic knots with an apology note. But......this is what changed my review direction: 3. The woman was kind, she was polite, and she was human. She didnt bullSh*t or make excuses to cover it up or get off the hook. She very humbly apologized and admitted that her team made a mistake. She offered a refund but I told her I don't feel it's necessary, i just want a wrap if i I come in another day. She made it happen for me right away though. Something about the "no bullsh*t, we messed up, let me make it right" approach to leadership leAves me feeling so much better about these types of things. The generic, robotic corporate "here's a refund, just don't write a bad yelp review about us" response never sits right with me. To the owner- The fooD was yummy, and thanks for the garlic knots!!! My advice is to cheer up those waitresses. Those attitudes could be a dealbreaker for other Yelpers! read more

Ordered a vegetarian pizza and pepperoni stromboli. Requested both to be well done and repeated request to order taker to make sure the food is well done. We order from Rotellis often and noticed the delivery food can always be cooked more. Placed the order about 7:30 pm. At 8:30, still no food. I called the restaurant and was told driver had left and was on his way. We didnt get our food until 9pm. The pizza and stromboli was good but was not cooked enough. Crust was not crispy actually soft and a little soggy. The restaurant delivered food is always late and never cooked enough. Guess we need to find another restaurant with better delivery service. read more

I am already a huge fan of this place. I don't care for pasta and this place hasn't been able to change my mind. However, they do have AMAZING salads and white pizza. My favorite is the malibu salad and their wrap. The price is around $9 to $10 without tax. I only order one of those three. Their dessert is great too and every once in a while I will try an appetizer. They change up their wine list pretty often too. This location, in particular, is hidden in a plaza with a major grocery store and a few small shops attached. Parking is huge and usually not a problem. The chief if Brazilian and makes Brazilian style pizza as well. Very Italian themed decor with lots of seating. The service is usually quick and friendly and overall they are my go-to for lunch. read more

Important to note I ordered through UberEats, so I cannot comment on actual service. We'd just moved to the area and looking for some good Italian food. I have to say I was extremely pleased with their Rice Ball. I've found them to be hit or miss wherever we go and theirs are an absolute hit. I also had the Gnocchi, which was so freakin good! Unfortunately the quality of cheese and sauce for a plain cheese pizza has diminished over the last 5 years. My husband is a chef and we've owned Italian restaurants over multiple generations. We know good and know quality. I feel obligated to tell the owners the quality is below standard. The Mozzarella cheese is low poor quality clearly cheap. Room gummy and chewy. Pizza dough bland. Walked in to dine with my gf, had to really use the restroom so I went before sitting down. The owner (guy with the glasses) chased me down to the bathroom and started knocking on the door NONSTOP, screaming over the door that the restroom is for customers only, which we clearly were. Is it now mandatory to order something BEFORE I can use the BR?! Even once I got out he kept going about the restroom issue. so my girlfriend and I decided to dine somewhere else. Since moving to Florida from NYC we haven't found good pizza from the west coast of FL to the East Coast. Until last night! I don't know why these reviews only give it mediocre results. They must think Pizza Hut, dominoes or little Caesar's is real pizza. You guys suck. Rotelli is just like NYC, Bronx, NJ pizza parlors but with a little more homemade feel. Just like my college roommates grandmom use to make. Don't listen to these other reviews until you tried the Nona's grandma pie yourself. That's legit! Truly Italian restaurant. You know when the food is prepared on-site instead being frozen kept ready to cook like some brands around there. This one definitely is in the first type. I don't mind spending money on my food, but this was the worst crap I ever ate in my life. could've got a banquet TV dinner and it would've been much better than this food. It was hard on the of the chicken and cold the inside as I was eating it. It got real hot like it was steaming like it came out of the oven but the rest of it was ice cold literally going from Hillsborough and Lyons Road to Coconut Creek Parkway and Lyons Road. The temperature should not be like that, also the food tasted bland not flavorful it was just crap garbage do yourself a favor. Do not eat here go to Publix and buy a banquet TV dinner for two dollars. The food will be better. Such a shame that the Restaurant sends that out and charges such a high amount you're ripping the people off why don't you get some good quality food in there and stop using the cheap crap. I tried to tell Uber about the food there are no different they don't refund you for anything so $70 down the tube. I know I will not be referring anybody to your restaurant. This location is ran very poorly! I ordered food on a friday at 9:30pm for pick up. I arrived at 9:45 to wait for it and called into the store as I didn't want to put myself at risk needlessly. I asked if my order could be brought out. The girl explained that my food wasent ready so I replyed ok and and continued to wait for them to bring out my order. The restaurant closes at 10, I waited till 10:15 thinking hey a calzone might be one of those items that takes a little longer. The whole time I'm out front I see the staff cleaning to leave for the night. I even saw one of the cooks come out front to feed the stray cat. I called back in and the person who answered wanted to argue with me that I never placed the first call stating i was out front. She was very rude and I could see all the employees laughing and having a great time at my expense. I do not recommend this location. If their coustomer service is of this quality during a pandemic then they obviously don't care about the business as so many others go bankrupt. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! read more

Great food, AWFUL service!!!!! We order from here about once a week. Almost EVERY time there's a problem with the order! Last night was it for me! They said the order would be here by 6:41 and I had to call twice before it got here at almost 8:00! When I called to ask for a manager the woman on the phone apologized and said they were very busy. I get it. However, a phone call would be nice and/or don't tell me my order will be here in a few minutes and have it come an hour later! By the way.. Wow and wow! I was a skeptic, but the Penne Alla Vodka with Chicken lunch special is out of this world good! I wish I could post a picture! The chicken is actually grilled and doesn't look like it was just defrosted and put on top, the sauce is creamy and smooth and the tomatoes and basil is spot on! It's piping hot and the portion size means the family will get a chance to sample this after I get home. If they're lucky that is! I am on the fence regarding giving this restaurant two or three stars. I opted with three because my friends liked the pizza & me not so much. This restaurant is in the same plaza as a few of the other stores I shop at. I had no idea it was here but my girlfriend mentioned it. We were looking for a place to get pizza & salads. Rotelli is located on the SW corner of Lyons & Hillsboro behind the CVS. The parking lot was full, people were waiting for a table & the counter had a few people picking up takeout orders. The restaurant smelled yummy & there were several occupied tables with happy looking customers. I had high hopes & I was really hoping to love it here. I guess sometimes looks can be deceiving. We were seated immediately & our server was taking our drink order within minutes. We had a wonderful server & she was a lot of fun too. She checked on our group several times & our table all really liked her. For the table we ordered two pies with various toppings. My girlfriend & I also ordered side salads. The salad was very good. It was cold & the veggies were very fresh. It was a standard side salad but the vinaigrette dressing was excellent. Shortly after our salad plates were cleared from the table the pizza's arrived. They looked good although there didn't seem to be a lot of cheese or toppings on them. I tried a slice of the mushroom pizza. My slice only had two little tiny pieces of mushroom on it. I like saucy pizza & I have to say this pizza was extremely dry. It was a thin crust pizza which I prefer but it had the consistency of cardboard. The 2nd pizza had pepperoni & meatballs. I did not try that pizza because it looked even dryer than the mushroom pizza. My girlfriend & I (both ex New Yorkers) did not care for the pizza. My friends husband enjoyed it & ate about four slices & he had no complaints. The forth friend said it was good & actually ate four slices as well. Both pizza's looked like they were thrown together. Some slices had one little topping & other slices had several. I definitely feel like they skimped on the toppings including the cheese. I would not order the pizza again but I wouldn't mind going back & trying one of their salads or one of the dinners. Some of the dishes the servers were walking around with looked very good. The service was good. Parking was easy & the prices were reasonable. I think Rotelli's is a chain but I am not 100% sure.
