Good pizza! Theme is Williamsberg Brooklyn style pies with several photos and art work from Brooklyn! Only issue i had was millennials work here you mention what part of Brooklyn y'all represent and they get hyper defensive!! Please millennials listen to around 16 hours of Andrew Dice Clay especially if you work at a pizza shop called Brooklyn Pizza!! LOL.. read more

Amazing pizza HOWEVER the cook here does not wear gloves or masks! Went outside smoked a cigarette came back in & did not wash hands! Hygiene here is definitely at an all time low. Really did not want to stop eating here because the pizza is really good but they need to do way better with hygiene ESPECIALLY in a pandemic & handling other people's food! read more

It was so good. Excellent cheese, good sauce. Try it out, Boulder. Staff was smart and friendly. Prices are fair, reasonable. We ordered the lasagna as well. I loved it, the wife liked it. We're both East Coasters, for what it's worth, and have snotty opinions about za and Italian food in general. We agreed to have it again, soon. read more

This was the best $25 I've ever spent! The pizza and the cannoli were both made from scratch and super fresh. The shop has great personality and the workers are super fun. I live across the street from them and come in all the time. When I tried to post my review the other day it got taken down. I'm not sure why Yelp is deleting my reviews but it's important that I support one of my favorite businesses. Highly recommend!!! read more

THIS PIZZA IS AWESOME!! My friend's boyfriend is from NY and he said it's the closest thing to NY pizza he's had in Colorado. The owner was super friendly and was sharing stories with us as he was making the pizzas. The restaurant is small, but it feels cozy and welcoming. Definitely give this a try if you're looking for great and high quality pizza. Only downside is it was expensive but it's so worth it so I don't mind! read more

The delivery took 2 hours. No phone call letting us know it was going to be late. And the pizza didn't come with the toppings that we ordered. Ordered pepperoni and prosciutto. At least it was warm. read more

For the prices I don't agree with the Yelp rating of $. A 17" large pizza with two toppings was $20. The pizza was fine but not $20 fine. And why I was changed a $1.20 service fee when I totally ordered online and picked up is unknown to me. They were lacking in apparent COVID-19 safeguarding. No masks, no gloves, no 6' of distance. It was basically business as usual with only pickup. The pickup was where I had to come in to get my order along with any other customers. read more

Best pizza in town. We live right down the street and have been coming here for many years now. Prices are great compared to some of the other pizza shop in town (chains excluded, can't even compare). We've always gotten great service. Alas. This is the story of a haven of New York exceptionalism quietly delighting the people of Boulder. And it has decayed and fallen beyond recognition. It started with Tiramisu. I used to recommend Brooklyn on the strength of this alone. Once the exemplar of rummy, coffee, creamy dolce--during the pandemic there was a change in either the supplier or the recipe and it became Twinkie's with cocoa powder on top. Then the pizza began to suffer. Ingredients forgotten, crust not cooked. Tonight we gave them one last chance. Perhaps, we hoped, the stress of the last year was grueling and they will right themselves when the stress abates. Now that we're back to "normal" and now that the migratory students have departed for their home roosts their brilliance will shine forth again. No. Crust was under-cooked, cheese slid completely to one side of the pie and 3 of the 5 ordered ingredients were not present. Insult to injury: the arugula and parmesan salad did not have shaved parmesan as it used to. It had powdered "parmesan", likely shaken from the carryout packets. read more

UPDATE: THIS IS THE INBOX RESPONSE I JUST RECEIVED FROM THEM. "Melanie this wasnt nice to give 1 star because i didnt have delivery person that night and also you could order trough hungry buffs,so 1 star for being ignorent ,lazy and spoiled" I can only imagine how employees are treated if that's the way he talks to customers. It would've been nice if the person I spoke to had told me about Hungry Buffs. No matter. I won't repeat what I said back to Genc, but after calling me "ignorent" (PS, at least learn how to spell when trying to insult someone!), lazy and spoiled you couldn't pay me $10 to ever again go in that sh*t hole excuse for a business. Just called for delivery and was told they no longer offer delivery because of the inability to find drivers. Bummer. I'll miss them. read more

Was in town visiting and craving a slice of pizza. Looked up pizza by the slice spots in Boulder and this was number 1 and it did not disappoint. Owner and employee were extremely friendly and made great conversation. They also made a fresh pizza late in the day to accommodate our toppings. Pizza was amazing and don't overlook the chocolate chip cookies or cannoli. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely be stopping here for pizza again. read more

Maybe not a total five star, but easily a 4.5. My family got take out and we all enjoyed it very much. It is NY style pizza with thin crust and large slices so keep that in mind. I would particularly recommend the pepperoni and Italian sausage pie, it was yummy. read more

I'm from New York, so I'm pretty picky about pizza. I've tried everywhere in Boulder, and am always unimpressed. I ordered online, and the $30 price tag was enough to make me choke. "This had better be the best pizza ever, for $30." It wasn't. It arrived cold, and was just ok. But I'm so desperate for a good pizza ere, I may try it again. MAYBE. read more

So after writing my last review I got a message from the owner and offered up a pie to make up for the issue I had with the delivery service. I took him up on the offer and he made me a wonderful pizza. This is the kind of service that makes me a true customer. Not only is the pizza really good but I spent some talking to the owner. He is a great guy and I will be ordering more pies from him for sure. If you want a great "really NYC" style pie then this is the place. read more

We tried Brooklyn Pizza for the first time today and I can tell you is TOP 2 of my two favorites in town! The dough was perfect, we had a Margarita and a Pepperoni pizzas and they were just good, not greasy at all but juicy enough! I would highly recommend you give this place a try! The chef was so nice, he found out I was pregnant and drew a cute message for me, plus he sent a free piece of cheesecake! read more

Late night pickup and had a sort of feel like a movie set: ya got cha Italian chef blasting gypsy music, dancing around. He comes to you and sings sweet serenades of the lasagna he has made for you... And you know, from the way he speaks, that he put his heart into his work, that you've wandered into a passion that is decades old. Days and nights spent dreaming of a better tomorrow, a better pizza. A yearning to hone his craft as he talks about hand making the sauce in your dish. You can't help but smile as you leave, having witnessed someone who has indeed come alive and to experience a craft that strives for excellence. Yes, the dish was excellent. Was the joint the nicest looking place? No. Did it have the fanciest set up and amenities? No. But the place is filled with heart and passion. We ordered a few pizzas and some breadsticks for an office pizza party, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. The only disappointment was our "breadsticks"...they're not on the menu, but when we called the guy said they did have them. Well, when our pizza finally showed up, it was accompanied by a whole, plain pizza crust. That is not the same thing as breadsticks. If something isn't on the menu, don't pretend it is! UPDATE: Our delivery driver was very sleezy. We ordered marinara with our "breadsticks" and it took him almost an hour to come back and give it to us after forgetting the first time. Not only that, but we requested a refund for our "breadsticks" (they were not even worth eating after waiting an hour for the sauce)...when he finally brought back the sauce, he attempted to leave with our refund! Very disappointing experience overall. Only saving grace was the pizza. read more

Two stars is pushing it. This place gives Brooklyn a bad name. Let's start by saying there were flys all over the pizza. Then let's forgive me for still buying two slices. Ok, enough being nice. They tried to give me two slices that they had burned to a crisp. I complained and they tried again. This time one slice was actually cold on top. Mmm cold sausage. Then they packed our shitty slices up in a pile so that the cheese that was melted could stick all over the bottom of the other slices they had rammed in there. Never again. Ugh. read more

Doesn't look amazing walking by, but they have amazing pizza at a great price. Also extremely accessible and fast service. The only downside is the proximity to the high school which means you have to go at the right time or the line will be out the door. Other than that, no complaints! read more

I highly recommend those pizza shop because they're friendly, reasonably priced, and is walking distance from Pearl Street and the hill! I like this place because they offer slices and whole pies. I was excited to see a new pizza shop open up in Boulder, there are so many choices here now, yet I kept coming back to my old standby, Cosmo's. We decided to give Brooklyn pizza a shot tonight, and it turned out pretty well. While it doesn't have that large floppy slice reminiscent of NYC or Cosmo's, the flavor of the crust is so tasty, and it has a good amount of chew. My only hope, they'll start offering a thinner crust pizza using the same amount of dough. The sauce is nicely balanced, not too sweet and not acidic. The cheese was good, it was plentiful and had a good amount of greasy to be NY style. They seem to be in their opening stages now and hopefully they'll get better and not fold like the last few places that have been in that spot. read more

It's clean and efficient inside. Just a single counter by the front window if you wanted to eat there but everyone was getting to go and a substantial number were drivers like the ones who regularly come to our house. The staff was friendly and efficient at both the counter and the uniquely separated cooking and baking area. We are not too likely to get back in person as it is far from our house but we will continue to order delivery on a regular basis. The pizza was great, and the crust was perfectly crisp! While we loved the pizza, we didn't love the price tag on it. With most 8 square pizzas starting around $15-20, and each additional topping starting at $2.99 (for this size), we were a bit shocked at the prices. They did have some coupons, but we still were a bit disappointed in how high the prices were. We would definitely consider coming back again if in the area!

Luckily we found street parking so that was easy too. It's a cash only restaurant (or local personal checks) and while it wasn't a problem, we had cash, we probably wouldn't have come here had we known that beforehand. Credit card sales shouldn't be the consumers issue.
