If you're looking for great quality tea, a welcoming environment, light bites to eat and or a space to chat over coffee and tea this is the space! Will forever be a customer.

They really didn't have to go out of their way to do that, but it genuinely made our day. The buckwheat cookies were delicious, nice roasted flavor and not too sweet. The matcha white chocolate bar surprised us. The deep green color matched the flavor because you could really taste the matcha. Would definitely come back another time to get a drink or try for the soft serve again :)

On the right side there's a wall of stickers and stationary that I think you can miss if you're not looking. The staff was on top of it, I usually don't order drinks and I had just stopped by here randomly so I hadn't prepared my usual order details and the cashier made sure to clarify everything just in case; sweetened, ice, milk or substitute, etc. And the drink was made on the spot and quite fast I got my drink within two minutes which I found impressive as a line had soon formed in the shop right as I came. I got the hojicha, which I find most shops can't do well. Theirs is really solid though! Not the best I've had but I think it's hard to knock my socks off in general for hojicha and very good compared to the average hojicha Ive tasted in my life. I don't remember there being place for you to sit or if there was it was only one or two places. the shop was a bit small but enough to accommodate a small line inside comfortably.

They had two small tables inside that sat 2 people. You order off the kiosk and they make the drinks fairly quickly. It looks like they measure out the ounces so it's the same ratio every time. Even with this, I felt like there was so much milk compared to matcha. I also felt like the matcha itself wasn't very strong. Be careful when selecting your sizes - I usually just get the small/regular but my best friend is a matcha fanatic and she usually gets the large size. Nippon Cha really said LARGE because their size is a 32oz!!! So if you're not planning on drinking a quarter gallon, just get the regular!

I later returned on several occasions and tried their Moon Milk, which is a delicious mixture of turmeric, cardamom, coconut and ashwahganda, the Key to the Garden drink (coconut, nutmeg, cacao, cinnamon and maple), their vanilla chocolate chip cookies and regular chocolate chip cookies. You can get these drinks hot or iced. I had all of them iced! I also had one of the best iced matcha lattes ever from here with sweet coconut milk. WOW. From what I've seen, baked goods change daily and their drink menus change semi often as well, which is exciting!! Outside, there is some seating, lovely items and books for purchase and a window to order, as well as the menu items displayed on boards and items around the space. Inside is quite similar, but with more items for sale and more seating. The vibes are immaculate and this seems to be a space that's community centered and has an emphasis on carrying items made by local artists. Remember to bring cash to tip. I cannot wait until my next visit here!!

I'm so used to matcha and jasmine flavors now, so I wanted to try something different. I had the tongmu lapsang salted cheese milk tea and I liked it. I never had a nutty, chocolatey tea flavor combo before so it was refreshing to taste.
