Good breakfast at a decent price. I liked all the variety it wasn't just pancakes and eggs. Which works because I'm not a huge sweet breakfast fan. Clean restaurant although one of the bus boys had his pants down around his thighs most of the time and that was severely off putting while trying to enjoy a meal. I had the Hash hash I believe is what it's called. Corn beef hash topped with hash browns two eggs, bell pepper, onions and cheese. It was really good and hearty. The waitstaff seemed to be stretched fairly thin I think there were only two or three working and one was the manager trying to deal with several other things. With that being said there were a few minor issues with service like we had to ask a few times to get cream and sugar for coffee, but understanding the circumstances in the world right now it wasn't a huge deal. I will be back again soon and would love to up the stars. read more

Finally got to check this place out. We went by early Sunday afternoon around 2pm, you could tell they were just winding down from a busy day. Our server, Denise, was terrific, she was fast, friendly, efficient and spot-on. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and got what I was promised, a delicious meal. My wife ordered the savory crepes upon the recommendation from Denise, and loved them. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we will definitely go back and try other tasty looking dishes. Sadness. Broken Yolk cafe. It makes me sad that a new place on a nice area with so much potential doesn't prioritize customer service! My friend took me yesterday and after 20 minutes of being there, a server finally decided to come. Ok, no big deal, as a restaurant manager I know things happen, so we decided to stay. The menu looks pretty and it has a very good selection. The food was good, but again the server took forever to refill our drinks. Not one single time a manager came around. Today, i decided to give it another chance, so I took my kids and husband so they can try it, I knew the food takes a while to arrive to the table, so we came early. DISAPPOINTED all over again! Not only took forever, but my husband's meal was wrongly made, so it took another 20 minutes, the manager (which I hope they have one) never came to apologize. I really hope they change their dynamic, otherwise a pretty menu won't be enough. read more

Typically I love broken yolk, I have been to several others and all have been great, however this specific location is a nightmare for many reasons. Firstly I have been in the restaurant industry for many years so typically I'm extremely patient with all servers and have the understanding that sometimes there's bad days. Right when we walk in there's no host, tables and floors are dirty and when we do finally get sat it's clear that this is a full hands in full hands out type of service as in there are no bussers there to help the servers clean. In that type of service you have to have strong servers. Our server seemed kind of dazed, she kept talking over my husband when he was trying to ask questions, she had limited knowledge about the menu when I asked her about iced coffee she said they had none but I saw other tables with iced coffee. She brought me the wrong drink and she was sitting talking to one guest over by the kitchen window even touching him making it seem like she had a personal relationship that was occupying her from giving us service. The food wasn't super awful actually. I had the ranchero omelette and I did like it but the blueberry muffin was disgusting and tasted like chemicals. My husband had French toast and he loved it. I would not come back to this location ever it is a hot mess! read more

We went for breakfast the first time today. It was ok but not great. My husband got an omelette that was bland. I got a regular American breakfast with a side of gravy. The gravy was not good. It seemed more like a sauce than gravy. The Orange juice was not fresh and they were out of Dr. Pepper. We were underwhelmed. We ordered avocado on the side and pico. They did not come with order. Another server had to go get it and took a while. Overall for the price they need to get more flavor and better service read more

First time visit and quite disappointed. Poor service and very long wait for food. When food finally arrived, two items were under cooked and had to be sent back. Other items were bland and tasteless. Observed a busboy setting a table - he dropped a knife, picked it up, wiped it off and put it on the table with the rest of the silverware. My favorite Breakfast & Brunch Cafe! We love coming here every Sunday morning for Breakfast or Brunch. This is the perfect spot to come to as a family after Church. Perfect for families as the food and customer service is 1st Class! Everyone is so nice and friendly, including the servers, waiters/waitresses, and even the manager came by to ask us if we needed anything. Even though the cafe is packed on Sundays! Come early as sometimes the line is out the door, but totally worth it! 5 Stars from us. :) read more

I've been to this location twice once with my mother on a weekday and again on Mother's Day. This place has a variety of options for picky eaters (especially kids). Their menu consist of Benedict's, crepes, waffles, açaí bowls, omelets etc. (To my surprise they have a section "south of the boarder" which is kind of Tex mex but good) They have lots of pictures for those who prefer to see what they are getting. The service was great! Food came at an average adequate time ( 10-15 minutes). I would definitely recommend to at least give this restaurant a try. read more

My husband and I have eaten here many times with no complaints however the last few times were horrible and we will not be going again! After complaining to the server, who by the way couldn't get our order right to save her life, that I found hair in the food she acted as if it was my hair. We then asked to speak to the manager who also insinuated that it was my hair. I was highly offended and perturbed. The manager of the establishment elected to take no action at all! Food was tasty and the service was fast. My boyfriend and I came in around 1030 and the restaurant was still fairly busy but we were seated fast. Coffee was brought out fast, I only wished I had looked at the menu first because they do offer specialty coffees but I'll have to try one on my next visit. The food came fairly quickly and the staff was very attentive but we did seem to be waited on by four different servers. We felt a little rushed as we finished the meal but we had been there for about an hour so that is understandable. All in all it was a great spot for breakfast and I will be returning. read more

Food here was just terrible everything that we had on the table was something that I would never eat again. Then one of the servers who knew my son came over to tell us that they drop whole eggs all over the floor of the kitchen and don't clean them up until the end of the day and that the smell in the kitchen is horrific. Where am I to begin with this place we ordered some Benedict's and omelettes and a wrap. My two friends got iced coffee which was 80% creamer and 20% coffee and tasted like creamy water. She got us new ones but they just tasted like coffee grounds. It took them 30 mins to get our food as we saw people who sat after us got their food before us. Once we got our food it came out by which meal was ready first. Then when I got my Sope Benedict it was slipped together like the chef had arthritis in his hand making my meal, it tasted like someone just put tabasco sauce and the meat was dried like the Sahara desert it came with beans as well which were very cold and just good ole Goya black beans from the can.... YUMMY!!!! It tasted pathetic and my friends got it worse than me my other friend had an omelet that was supposed to have bacon and sausage and they didn't have either on it! Imagine ordering an omelette that sounded amazing but when you get it it's just an omelette with nothing inside it with bacon and sausage outside of it. So we asked for the actual omelette instead and then it turned out to be good. My friends also were supposed to have fruit but ended up having to ask again for them. The only saving grace of all of this is the waiting staff who were very nice and patient with everything but the people in the back need to get in order or else this place will tank. read more

Overall experience was not a good one. We were seated and hostesses asked if we would like coffee I said yes my husband said he would like tea and she told him the waitress would be getting him that. So we figured she would get the coffee and the waitress would be right behind her with tea. No on both, we sat there with menus down for 20 minutes before I grabbed one of 3 gentleman who seemed to be either owners or possible managers. I told him we had not been attended to (no drinks no nothing) he said sorry and grabbed a waitress. She took our order, finally came back with it drinks and we waited for our food. The food was good. Huge portions. Potatoes with the skillet were a bit cold and underdone but the taste was fine and the breaksfast tacos were great. ( not the rice and beans it came with though..... steer clear of those they were actually awful) not one time were we acknowledged while we were eating, drinks were empty except right before we left a busser asked me if I would like coffee, I said yes please and he then asked me how my morning was going. I told him very well thank you how about you and his response was " meh" I was like uh just "meh"? He said Yupp and walked away. I just looked at my husband and was at a loss of words. So once again no one asked my husband if he would like to refill his empty tea. While we were waiting for our check the table behind us stopped the same charming busser and asked for water. He grabbed our waitress and aske dHER to get it and she said NO it's not her table...... I just kept my mouth shut, waited for her to come to my table and when she finally made it to us (and this is after walking by us maybe 15 times prior and tending to everyone else around us) she came by asked how our food was, I asked for a refill of tea and the check. We paid and left after this...... we spent over an hour here. We were excited to have this place open in the area. But now sadly will say will NOT be coming back. The service was awful. I ordered another order of hash browns and asked that they be cooked on a clean part of the grill. I heard the waitress yell an order if hash browns, but nothing about a clean grill. This place is utter and complete garbage. The biscuit is a world war two era meal ration and the hash browns have more oil than the exxon-valdez spill. The service is mediocre, i've been at home for three hours and the sour cream I asked for is probably still in the refrigerator, much like the rest of their premade ingredients. You need some true grit to eat the John Wayne omelette, and he is surely rolling over in his grave knowing a dish that bad is named off of him. Nearly ruined our mother's day if it wasn't for my family's satisfaction in writing this one star yelp review. Went today for the first time,sat at the bar with Felicia. She was awesome and funny. She told us to order the crunchy French toast and we made it a combo with eggs and breakfast meat and my boyfriend got the Nutella crepes and made it a combo also. Food was amazing came out quick. I went to this place for the first time. We had our order taken and had to wait an hour and a half for our food to come out. Yes they were busy, but it's still ridiculous to have to wait that long to receive our food. When we did receive our food, it was cold and didn't really have much flavor or taste. The sweet/unsweet did not taste good as well (at all). The employees were nice and did their jobs, but, overall it wasn't really that good of food and the long wait wasn't pleasant.
