Every once in a while I stop by at this Harbor Freight store. It is always well stocked and has…read morejust about every tool that you need for any home project. The store is very well maintained. One of the employees happened to come by and asked me if he could help me. As always their staff is helpful and will even walk me over to what I need. I explained to him what I needed and he guided me to a shelf stocked with lubricants and told me to give this particular one a try. I just wasn't going to buy another tool to just use it once. I bought a few other items but those items will be used. As most of you well know they change some of the brands over the years but all in all any of their power tools are decent at almost half the price of buying a name brand. Today is a good day and I am hoping this will do the trick.

I purchased a pair of Ace…read moreBranded gloves on Saturday morning and came to return them and buy a more robust pair (for more money per pair) as the gloves did not last 3 hours of yard work - they had holes in the glove. The young lady refused to take the gloves back because they were used. I told her I knew that as I was the one who used them. After several verbal exchanges and her picking at the shredded glove, I got upset and called her a blockhead. (Not good by me) She said I had to see a store Manager. I just returned from attempting to return the gloves and buy a better pair, and Austin, the store manager, also refused the return, and I told him I would never be back. He smiled and said goodbye. I guess at $17.00 pair of gloves is worth really ticking off a customer. It's all smiles while buying, but not when you try and return a defective pair of gloves and buy a more expensive pair. I am done shopping at ACE. I want to buy locally, but I guess the cost of acquiring a new customer is less than $17.00. The store will not suffer one bit from my choice, but it is my choice to make. The only downside is that the parking lot can occasionally attract some loitering or other questionable activity. It doesn't seem to be a major issue, and it looks like both Home Depot and its neighboring business are making an effort to improve the situation. Still, it's worth staying aware of your surroundings, especially if you're visiting after dark. Overall, it's a good store with excellent staff, and I'll definitely continue shopping here.

Rosa in the plant department took me over to where screens are and helped to find a helper in that department. When I go to other Home Depot's they shy away from eye contact.
