Miso-Citrus Salmon, sub mashed potatoes.

It's a terrific self-proclaimed gastropub in the main drag of Marlborough. I've eaten there several times and have always been happy with their dishes and drinks. The owners and staff are extremely attentive and hospitality rings through the air. When my mom passed last year, I decided to use their catering space upstairs for our wake gathering. The personal care, top notch entrees and fair pricing made a very tough time, a bit easier. Went recently and had the salmon entree. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Let's go BRIX!!!

Moved into the town and this was the first Resturant I went to with one of my girls. I kid you not, I ordered a pork chop and to this day i haven't tasted one pork chop that can come close to this one. Ah, it was so juicy, the mustard reduction was just chef's kiss. And the "pink lady" was the cherry on top. Local friendly staff, great atmosphere. My only regret is that I haven't been back yet.

Seafood Mac and Cheese

Stopped here on our way home from picking flowers at Hudson Wildflower Co. My date LOVED the seafood Mac and Cheese, and great selection of local beers. I had the Surf and Turf with scallops and mashed potatoes (broccoli). Very good! We ended with the decadent hot chocolate brownie sundae! So good. We shouldn't have. But we did. We sat outside on their lovely patio. Very romantic. We'll be back when we're up this way again.

The service at Brix was very attentive, constantly checking on enjoyment of the food, plus getting finished plates and refills. Nice to have great service rather than other places where they are indifferent and just tip hunting. Raspberry peach lemonade was amazing, just sweet enough and fresh, no artificial taste or syrup fusion. Appreciated that they don't charge refills on it. The lobster roll, definitely not cheap on portions of it, plus well buttered and seasoned. The brioche bun was toasted right and kept warm and pillowy soft. One of better lobster rolls I ever had, actual effort to dress it rather butter and it's done. For the truffle parm fries, we're great but if tossed with butter then tossed with parm and truffle would produced a better product then just dump on top. Definitely want to try the dinner menu on another visit and get full experience

Honestly... 4.5 would be fair. Wanted a solid place to eat after visiting a local winery. This place was perfect for that. The food was good, service was lovely and I would certainly return there frequently if I were local. We had the bang bang shrimp (slightly salty... Maybe the breading??...) but flavorful and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. And the funnel cake was slightly over fried. The seafood Mac and cheese alone is worth the visit, the wings were great and my cannoli was perfectly fresh. I wish the business pure success. Thanks for making our day trip out of the city a nice time!

Shrimp & grits

FYI, hours on Yelp aren't accurate. They are open on Tuesday's. Warm and inviting bar and restaurant. Big fan of the peach habanero wings. On a scale for heat, I'd say they are a 5; enjoyable for those that don't like spice. They are very tasty and flavorful. For my main course, I ordered the shrimp and grits, but it wasn't your typical presentation. I couldn't figure out how the grits were prepared but they were a cube under the shrimp. Turns out they were pre made and then cut into squares/cubes and then deep fried.

First things first. This was the first restaurant in three years who actually cooked the French fries the way I asked for the. I asked for burnt, not well done but slightly burnt and they delivered them. Perfectly! The place was very quiet when we got there. Which probably had something to do with showing up around four. The staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked in. But they looked surprised like they were not opened yet so I asked. The bartender said yes and told us to sit in one of the small two top tables. Which for me are too small if you're looking to eat a meal. She then said oh just sit anywhere take one of the bigger tables if you would like more room and we did. I order a beer my wife a Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The beer was fine and the martini was chilled but could have been a bit colder. The food was great. I had the flank steak sandwich and my wife hade a salad with grilled chicken. Everything was delicious and again perfectly seasoned. Not overly salty like many places tend to season. It's a nice place, cozy. Friendly and gives off a vibe like it's run by a family. I like that. I guess my only complaint is the martini should have been colder. But I'm not picking.

I wanted to make this memorable for all of us. Enter, Danny's Table. This little gem in the Village of Fishkill met every expectation and exceeded them. We took an early dining hour and were seated immediately by Arnoldo, the host, who checked often to assure that we were comfortable and satisfied. We were expertly served by two waitresses, Nayeli and Dyan. And then came the delicious food. The appetizers were so good that I forgot to take pictures of the entrees. I had it all. Great food, great service, and the excellent company I brought with me was already in the bag. I don't know how they could have achieved this level of excellent service and fine dining when they have only been open since September, 2025, but wow! I can only assure you that my siblings and I will be back. And, we will be back soon!

Though he served bread once and never asked if we wanted more! Now for the food The Hanger steak, with Arugula Salad and feta cheese (tasty) fries are French fries nothing special, the Hanger Steak was served medium rare with a bit of Chimichurri ( tasteless) needed salt n pepper, very tiny portion for the price. Duck a l'Orange also kind of small portion and not particularly tasty, served with red cabbage and blood orange au jus!! Shrimp Linguini, nothing out of the world, needed salt n pepper, very bland. Nod for the good, the Cheese Burger and fries was super duper yummy.

Our friendly server Rob was extremely attentive and provided descriptions on the various entrees. I started with a light, delicious cherry Bellini. Not too sweet, a beautiful color of pink bubbly goodness! Just what the doctor ordered! Husband had a great local IPA out of Brooklyn. When he couldn't decide, he was offered a samples to try. My entree was the best Pasta Bolognese I've had in a very long time! I'm an Italian and it transcended me back to childhood in my mother's kitchen! The rich abundant meat flavor blended perfectly with the spiced tomato sauce! It was a truly delicious dish ladled over the cooked just right al dente pasta! Deliciousness at 100% ! I highly recommend it! Husband had the huge, thick cut , bone in pork chop! Unbelievable flavor! The glaze was deliciously savory with hidden tastes of sweet Asian over perfectly charred cut up sweet potatoes and sticky rice on the side. Both our dinners portions were very large offering plenty for another meal at home. This was our fourth visit to the restaurant . Next time we are traveling up here to Poughkeepsie for work from Boston area we will certainly return! Each visit gets better and better! It makes me realize why familiar faces return regularly to the restaurant. The owner Tom is so welcoming and friendly. The food is not only excellent but the friendly atmosphere the whole staff provide makes it a winning combination! You all are so lucky to have this restaurant near by! Deliciousness and the best hospitality with fair pricing is hard to beat! I wish I took pictures!

I ordered the gnocchi with sausage, and unfortunately I don't love it since the gnocchi was overcooked / the ratio of gnocchi to sausage was uneven. Why the low score? AMBIANCE: 5/5 An upscale and cozy…read morerestaurant with fun art and very comfortable seating. Wonderful foyer with fireplace makes a lovely place for a family photo. FOOD: 3.5/5 WHY? Good quality ingredients but inconsistent execution. For example, my poppyseed cinnamon bun was presented in one of those cute cast iron skillets but the bun was ice cold, dry, and not failed to deliver comfort food vibes. I suspect that the dish was originally cooked in the skillet and drowned in a creamy cream cheese frosting. THAT would score high. Unfortunately, the little pan was a real let down- almost like a bait and switch. Management-- if you want to take a shortcut, just serve the bun on a plate. Other dishes delivered on presentation, but failed on practicality. Example- The Flatbread which is topped with beautifully cooked fried eggs was served on a board with no side plate so the egg yolk ran unto the table-embarrassing. This brings me to SERVICE. Kevin was pleasant buy not efficient- we had to ask for plates, were not offered coffee or tea for a brunch service. And one of our group of 4 ppl received her entree at least 5 minutes after the rest of us- Our food got cold waiting for the missing entree. No excuse for that with a near-empty dining room. Would I return? Yes. With lower expectations
