Totally fine, it's a one‑time fee, not a monthly situation but we're just not ready to invest in that level of comic commitment yet. Prices were reasonable: about seven bucks for most issues and one $35 comic my son proudly bought with his own money. I let him live his best life. The plot twist came a week later when he sat down to read everything... and realized he accidentally bought three copies of the same comic because the covers were different. Variant covers: 1.
