They don't make shops like this anymore - thank goodness we have Jacks! Such a great selection of toys for kids of all ages, even newborns. From old school toys to educational toys, there is something for every kid. With it being Christmas time, I do wish they had a program to sponsor children & buy them toys in the store. They put together a wish list and we can shop at Jacks to get them what they'd like for Christmas. Please do this next Christmas!!

What a cute shop for babies, toddlers and young children's toys. Friendly and welcoming with bright smiles in a bright shop. Cute storefront window captures your attention with the detailed display of a fantasy land. Organized products makes it easy to find what you're looking for. Parking right in front of the store on the Main Street or throughout the downtown area but may be a little crowded on weekends or evenings during popular hours.

This TOY store has every game imaginable! No Serious! We were looking for a hard to find game & they had it. It's the latest version - Acquire 60 year edition. Our family plays this game a-lot & has created a-lot of family memories for us, so we were so excited to find it! I would recommend this shop in Redlands for all FUN stuff. You cannot go wrong.

Very cute store with a huge selection of unique toys not sold in any big box department store. Staff are super friendly. I especially love the epic Calico Critters window display. Prices as what you would expect of a small independent shop in a downtown.

Being in a pandemic can bring on all sorts of challenges, but being with children during it definitely brings a little more crazy! I am pleased to write a glowing review for this shop during these times. They have stayed open for curbside pickup allowing families to purchase gifts, books, games, and making Easter baskets for kids! The ordering over the phone was simple, and I was able to pop by real fast and do a quick pickup! The store itself is very cool! It has a great selection of games! There is unique toys and education toys as well. The quality definitely comes from the staff and owners. Each time I have interaction whether it be on the phone or in person it has truly been pleasant. I am happy to support local shops and will continue to do so. :) They are definitely worth checking out.

Upon entering, I realized the shop was much larger than I had expected. Looks like it may have been 2 shops merged into one at some point. There's a large connected room with a massive Anime books and poster collection. Lots of fun and unique finds. The man at the cashier was friendly and helpful. We left with just a couple small figures but would love to spend more time looking over the variety of books and collectibles. Any shop that includes Hip Hop has my vote!

We got a quick greeting at the door and then were left to fend for ourselves in the Marvel wilderness. The store is super organized and visually on point. My son made a beeline for the Spider‑Man section like it was calling his name. My daughter, who has zero interest in comics, appreciated that they also sell books, tees, Funko Pops, and other merch so she didn't have to pretend to care about Peter Parker's problems. Checkout was smooth, and the cashier immediately pitched their membership program. Totally fine, it's a one‑time fee, not a monthly situation but we're just not ready to invest in that level of comic commitment yet. Prices were reasonable: about seven bucks for most issues and one $35 comic my son proudly bought with his own money. I let him live his best life. The plot twist came a week later when he sat down to read everything... and realized he accidentally bought three copies of the same comic because the covers were different. Variant covers: 1. Newbies: 0. A tiny heads‑up from the cashier would've saved us from the accidental collector's edition starter pack. All that said, the store is clean, cool, and has the exact comic‑shop vibe you expect. We'll definitely be back, just with a little more research and maybe a checklist so we don't accidentally buy the trilogy of the same issue again. Great spot overall, just not the most newbie‑friendly. But we'll return, now slightly wiser and definitely more cautious around pretty cover art.

This activity is currently being piloted, with the possibility of expanding it more broadly within the organization if it is well received. After locating the items I needed in the toy department, I noticed that they were secured inside a locked glass cabinet. I located an employee named Dylan and approached him politely. I first greeted him by saying, "Hello, how are you today?" He did not respond to my greeting, which I initially thought nothing of, as I understood that he was working and may have been busy. I then pointed toward the glass cabinet and asked if he could "let me in," referring to accessing the merchandise inside the locked cabinet. Dylan looked me up and down with an expression that appeared visibly annoyed and responded in an irritated tone, "What do you mean, let you in?" I clarified that there were items behind the locked glass that I wanted to purchase but could not access. He then responded harshly that he could go over there. I replied, "Yes, please." What concerned me most happened as Dylan opened the cabinet. Because his demeanor toward me had been noticeably unfriendly, I actually apologized to him and asked, "I'm sorry, did I do something to offend you? Was there something I should have said differently?" Rather than acknowledging how the interaction had come across, Dylan walked away without looking at me and replied, "Normally people just say, 'Can you open the cabinet?'" I found this interaction unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I had approached Dylan respectfully, greeted him, and simply asked for assistance accessing merchandise that Walmart requires an employee to unlock. Even after noticing his demeanor, I made an effort to determine whether I had unintentionally offended him and gave him an opportunity to clarify the situation. Unfortunately, his response made the interaction even more uncomfortable. I fully understand that everyone can have a difficult or stressful day, particularly employees working in a busy retail environment. I am not expecting employees to be cheerful at every moment. However, I do believe customers who approach employees respectfully should receive basic courtesy and professionalism in return. At no point during our interaction did Dylan apologize, acknowledge how his communication may have been perceived, or make an effort to provide a positive customer service experience. I am sharing this complaint because I hope Dylan can receive additional coaching or training regarding professional communication and customer service. An interaction like this may seem small, but employees are representatives of the Walmart brand, and the way customers are treated can significantly influence their perception of the company. I have shopped at Walmart many times and have never felt the need to submit a complaint like this. I hope management at the Highland location will review this incident and use it as an opportunity for coaching and improvement. I sincerely hope Dylan is able to learn from this interaction and provide future customers with the courtesy and respect that should be expected from any customer-facing employee. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns.
