I have even witnessed another family prior different day where they were told okay this time only. We stand out from the rest And get treated as so. Not okay Wife and husband seem kind but then theirs the bulldog. I just don't think it's fair that I can't make a separate purchase for a friend who has to work. I don't see this getting better because it's a choice for them to pick n choose who to treat kindly & sometimes being a regular is bad as well since I go in often. Now I feel anxious about this place. So sad

HOW RUDE!!! I had a…read morereally disappointing experience at this store today. I came in with a couple of friends my age because we were looking for a specific toy. From the moment we walked in, the employees were hovering over us and watching us in a way that felt extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. We were not being loud, disruptive, or disrespectful, we were simply browsing. As we were about to check out, one of the employees told us we were "free to leave," and verbatim, "we don't need your five bucks." The tone was rude, dismissive, and completely uncalled for. We had every intention of making a purchase, and there was no reason for us to be treated that way. Being watched so closely and then spoken to like that felt incredibly disrespectful. It also raised concerns for me about whether we were being treated differently because of how we looked. No customer should feel singled out or unwelcome when they walk into a store simply trying to buy something. Respect goes both ways. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, regardless of their age or appearance. I hope this is taken seriously so that no one else has to experience the same kind of treatment because it was absolutely disgusting.

I was shopping here with my daughter-in-law and my 1-year-old grandson, doing some early Christmas…read moreshopping. We had about $200 worth of toys picked out and were heading to the register. Like most grandparents trying to survive a shopping trip with a toddler, I handed my grandson a cheap little $6 jump rope in a box to keep him occupied. Apparently, this was my first mistake. When I got to checkout, the employee informed me that I was required to purchase the jump rope because my 1-year-old had put it in his mouth. I was stunned. In all my years of shopping, I have never encountered such an absurd and unreasonable demand. The item was boxed, undamaged, and perfectly sellable. Yet I was treated as though my toddler had somehow rendered it unusable. What happened next was even worse. When I questioned the policy, another employee with purple hair inserted herself into the conversation with a shockingly hostile attitude. Rather than calmly explaining the situation, she was confrontational, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and reflected terribly on the store. Customer-facing employees should know how to speak to people respectfully, especially when dealing with a reasonable question from a paying customer. If this is truly store policy, then management should make it clearly visible instead of allowing employees to spring it on customers at checkout. More importantly, management should seriously address how these employees interact with customers. Their conduct was unacceptable and deserves immediate attention. No customer should be spoken to in the manner I was. I paid for the jump rope simply because I wanted to end the unpleasant interaction, and then I put back the approximately $200 worth of toys I had intended to purchase. After being treated so poorly, there was no chance I was rewarding that behavior with additional business. What bothered me most was not the six dollars. It was the appalling customer service. I have shopped here many times before and have always had positive experiences. This encounter was completely different. The employees involved were rude, aggressive, and seemed far more interested in creating conflict than helping a customer. I sincerely hope management reviews this incident and reprimands the employees involved. Their behavior was unacceptable, damaging to the store's reputation, and ultimately cost the business a loyal customer and hundreds of dollars in sales. I hope the $6 jump rope was worth them losing a $200 sale and all other future sales. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to expect better treatment elsewhere. No wonder this business only has 2 1/2 stars . The guy who was the first to demand payment was Ernesto.

Lucky for her, we were able to locate the last NeeDoh ice cube for $3.99. We were excited about the price because anywhere else they priced them at triple amount which I find it so insane. My son bought a small airplane toy and I had to get a Lake Arrowhead magnet for my fridge. Love the prices on those too. Total came to about $13 for all three items which isn't too bad. There were so many toys within the store though. It was a bit overwhelming, but lots of cool stuff. Some toys were pricey and some at reasonable prices. Very entertaining for my kids to browse around. Service was excellent and looking forward to next year visit.

I was trying to buy squishy needles for my two teenage children, who are only 13 and 14 years old. She refused to sell them to us because, according to her, they were "not kids." The way she handled the situation was unnecessary and made both of my children feel embarrassed, disappointed, and angry. Afterward, I called the store manager to share my concerns and provide feedback. Unfortunately, I felt that the manager didn't seem to care about my point of view or the fact that the interaction had hurt my family's feelings. The way we were treated left me feeling unwelcome. While I can't know the reason for how we were treated, the experience made me wonder whether bias played a role, and it left me feeling as though we may have been treated differently because of our race. No customer should leave a store feeling that way. I am without words after reading other reviews here, that totally make sense on our experience at this store. It is sad to see that my family and I are not the first and definitely not the last people that would have this type of experience at this store. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store, and I hope management takes customer service and respectful treatment of all customers more seriously.

I explained my project and he seemed disinterested in the idea and gave short one word answered and walked away. Seemed to care more about sorting rocket engines and helping a customer who was looking at a new rc car than myself or my son. Went to ask someone else for help. Aiden listened to our ideas and we needed. He went to work to provide us with the materials we needed and was very kind to myself and my son Aiden single handedly saved our experience. From my observations the black polo shirt gentleman seemed to be management - where I think Aiden would have been a better manager. Hobby stores are hard to come by these days and this experience could have easily converted me to seek guidance online, however Aiden changed this. Please go to this store for Aiden. But avoid the guy in the black polo shirt belongs in the tool selection.

I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.
