I am writing this review to warn potential buyers about this store's business practices. I recently…read morepurchased a PS5 from this location, only to discover it had been permanently banned from all online services because the original owner violated network terms and agreements. I returned the console the very next day.I initially refrained from leaving a negative review, giving the business the benefit of the doubt that they were unaware of the ban. However, I see they have put the exact same console back up for sale without disclosing that it is permanently restricted to offline use. Selling a defective, banned console as a standard working unit is incredibly misleading. If a console is banned, it should be clearly labeled and sold 'for parts only.'Please test any used hardware thoroughly before leaving, and be highly cautious when buying consoles from this shop."

Wow! It's been 4 years since this place started and at its new location. The old location was kind…read moreof small and to have fit that many arcades and plus, you will always miss it. New location took the old concept and made it even better with sign, noticeable parking and same vibe as the owner welcome his customers of relieving the 80's and 90's arcade style. Inside is split into three separate rooms: as soon you enter, arcades (no food/drink once you enter), pinball room (additional $5) and console room (ps5 and switch) and two arcade cabinets. Price varies between $10 per hour or $20 all day. Arcades are unlimited so if you don't want to beat these games on emulators and do it the old fashion way, this is the way to go. Do offer snacks and drinks for separate prices. Console room is where they held tournaments (check their instagram for upcoming tournament). In addition, you can host parties here and they will close to the public while hosting the event (will inform their socials whether it's gonna be close). Overall, highly recommend on coming here and relieving some nostalgia memories. Met the owner every year during it celebration (offer free food to celebrate its occasion)

TLDR: Great Value (no tokens), new and old school games, and a super chill staff…read more First of all, let me say that it's not every day that a new business opens in San Bernardino especially a an independently owned one. Second, and maybe more importantly, they built an arcade that perfectly matches my memory of being a kid in the 90s being able to play for hours and just have a great time. The extras I'll add is that instead of having to pay for tokens then make it really simple and you just pay by the hour or day and just play all the games however long you want. This makes it a great value for families. This opened the door for me finally trying to beat the X-Men game from the 90s. I still wasn't able to beat that darn thing. But maybe I could join forces with my three boys and go back and finally beat the game. They beat me in my entire childhood. They have a lot of other cool stuff like console games in air hockey. I just saw that they do birthday parties too, so that's cool. The staff was beyond friendly, they just get it. They know what they're doing. They know why they're doing it and you can just tell. Overall, I just super recommend this place. If you just wanna stop by for an hour, play all day, happy birthday party here, or if you're super hard-core, I want to do one of the competitions that they run go for it.

I never feel like a "old fogey gamer" (I'm 42) when I'm asking one of the (much younger) associates here for a game recommendation or request. Its located a few doors down from Wal-Mart in Highland, and I'm glad to see it weathering the storms of the iffy economy out there. Its usually clean and well stocked, with a big screen tv showing game trailers. A couple minor things keeps it from getting a 5th star from me. Firstly, their selection of PC games has been getting smaller and smaller. I have a ps3, sure... but I prefer gaming on my pc; and its hard to find a good selection of PC games outside of a Best Buy anymore. I'd really like to see this chain emphasize their selection a bit more. 2ndly, their is usually a big turnaround of staff. It'd be nice to see some regular faces from time to time to be able to talk all things gaming about; and the staff that's there are always pushing their rewards cards without adequately explaining their benefits. Still and all.. I like coming in here to pour through their selection of used games..especially when they are having their buy 2 get one free sales. I have a niece and nephew with a ps2..and it makes finding fun stuff for them for the holidays kinder on my budget. All in all a great store. Certainly worth a visit!
