Walmart Supercenter in Highland is not somewhere I go out of pure excitement, but convenience definitely wins here. I'm not a huge Walmart fan in general, yet this location is close enough that I occasionally find myself stopping in anyway. Once inside, the store is massive, very well stocked, and surprisingly easy to navigate, which makes a big difference. Everything feels organized, and I can usually find what I'm looking for without wandering aimlessly. I like that it truly works as a one stop shop with groceries, home items, and electronics all under one roof. The fact that there's even a McDonald's inside feels like a bonus reward for surviving a Walmart run. read more

There's a huge parking area, so you won't be looking to long. The store is well stocked and everything you may need- groceries, clothing, sports equipment, and more, can be had. Additionally, if you can't find something, any Staff Associate I've encountered, immediately stopped what they were doing and even took me to wha I was looking for. On this last trip to WALMART (06/08/25), we stopped by because we needed milk and wound up with some twenty items including CHORIZO!. They now feature more self-service check out machines. But not being to eager to self-check-out our goods, I approached the Staff Associate who was minding the area. "Would you please help me check out" I asked him. He smiled and said, "Of course", and before Donald J Trump could tell another lie, that young man had me bagged and ready to pay. Well, what can I tell you?! THATS GR8 SERVICE, in my book. Yesterday I went for a quick trip just to get some batteries. I pressed the button at the battery kiosk and waited for approximately 10 minutes and upon seeing nobody arrived ,1 decided to look for the closest employee that wasn't busy with a costumer or at a register. Which I then had to walk all the way across from the battery kiosk to even find anyone.After asking nicely if I can get some help with the batteries the employee redirected to to go ahead and get in line to any register and receive assistance from there. I walked up the nearest register with only one other costumer and waited my turn. I then I nicely asked KATHERINE the cashier for help at the batteries which she then rudely responded " Are you serious the batteries are way over there, that's too far." When I told her that I was simply just told to walk up to a register and ask she scoffed rudely stared at me in discontent, as if that was my fault...?I tried to be patient but once we reached the battery kiosk KATHERINE's demeanor didn't change she then again asked rudely what batteries we needed. KATHERINE then needed help getting the kiosk which led to me not being able to get all I needed. An employee should never speak to a costumer that way , especially if it's unprovoked. KATHERINE needs to be retrained on how to be professional and how to be respectful towards customers. No matter how upset an employee is they shouldn't take that out on a customer. We all go through rough days but that's never an excuse to behave the way KATHERINE did.Especially if that customer was redirected by another Walmart employee on what to do. read more

I recently joined Walmart Plus delivery membership because it was 50% off plus surcharges. My first order, had a damaged item. My second order had out of stock items and the app charged me a 10% tip. My 3rd order was missing the main ingredient (Butterball turkey) plus some veges. I used my debit card plus my entire bal on my EBT card. My card should have been refunded within 3 hours, but instead it was 4 days later where a $9.15 refund was issued but then a false debit for that exact amount was made by Walmart. I never received my refund and now have to file a claim for fraud with San Bernardino. What could improve? Try eliminating bait and switch marketing tactics and show some integrity.I will continue to use the delivery but won't leave a tip online, due to the fact that Walmart takes a cut of every tip. The tip shows up automatically as 10% of the total purchase. The only way to change it is to click on custom amt and type in $00. I tip with cash if the driver is nice and I have cash to give. I don't know if it's the Highland Walmart or all of them, that are ripping off their customers and their drivers. The drivers tell me that Walmart claims to not deduct money from the driver's tips and this is an outright lie! read more

DO NOT BUY SNOW CHAINS FROM THIS LOCATION unless you absolutely positively know the correct size. I bought Peerless Chain Autotrac online for my SUV, well, they were the wrong size. I took the set back to this location, but Customer Service refused to take them back. They quoted a "California law" and that all snow chains are "final sale." I googled the say "California Law," I couldn't find it anywhere stating you can't return them. The Walmart.com return policy does not show exclusions for snow chains from their return policy either. I walked through the isle where they have the chains, no sign displaying "Final Sale." I went back to Customer Service and asked for a Mgr, the mgr was rude, would not let me speak. I tried to explained my case, at no avail. I called the (800) WALMART number and the Customer Service Rep was fantastic! He created a return ticket through the app and told me to take the return back to Customer Service. They still gave me a little pushback, this time, stating that each store has their own policy discretion. But to their credit, they did take the chains back. read more

Six months ago I would've given this location 1-2 stars - and only that high because a few of the employees are really trying hard to make a difference. The store's appearance, cleanliness, organization, and basic function was pretty bad. In the last 2 months they've been renovating to improve aesthetics/function of store. It looks much better, has better lighting, is cleaner, yet we'll see how long they can manage to keep it organized. The lines are always long even though there are many registers open. They have a good selection of fresh food, meats, dairy products, etc. You can really find anything here. Sometimes it is better to check the app ahead of time to see what aisle it is in and if it is in stock, or even order online and do curbside pickup it is really easy then, they just bring it right to your car. read more

My wife is paralyzed due to a botched chiropractic treatment and Walmart refuses to allow her access to the motorized carts for shopping purposes. Every time we attempt to shop at Walmart the security guard prevents people from taking the motorized cart outside the building. If I could give 0 stars I would. I waited for almost 30mins for someone to assist me at the alcohol aisle to unlock the liquor locker. Multiple employees walked past me without acknowledgment, advised me they don't have a walkie talkie to page someone or if they did have a walkie talkie it was inoperable to page for assistance. I called the customer service line (909) 425-8846 multiple times to ask for assistance. One employee advised me that I should just shop at another well know big chain store, multiple employees stated they don't know who the manager on duty was or how to get into contact with one when I asked to speak to one. I understand you have a locked locker to prevent theft but the store is also preventing purchase of goods by the consumer. The fact that no one is able to assist because you have only a select few that are only able to unlock the liquor locker is absurd. It shouldn't take this long for assistance or lack of. I eventually left after wasting 30 minutes feeling frustrated and upset that I came into your establishment to purchase something to only leave with zero results and/or assistance. How can one express, how downhill this Walmart got in the past 10 years! I use to love going here, as a matter of fact, it was the better Walmart from the one in Redlands, but nope, Redlands sadly is notches above this one. The stuff they carry wasn't bad, they actually have a decent selection and a lot bigger than the other two I've been to - Redlands & Beaumont. But a lot of the normal necessities such as deodorant are locked up and you have to either pay there where the make up is (enclosed area by a small gate of some sort) or you can take it with you, but they put it in a huge clear box, so that you don't steal it. OMG, are they that cheap to get better security system and hire more security guards? Yes, true that the people who go there, all look like the outcasts from the Joker movie. Actually, those people from the movie looked a tad better. Which is why I see their point in high extreme security measures, but makes the customers who aren't all thieves feel awkward and low. You might need your patience, if you dare go in and also in parking lot, because everyone drives and parks like pricks there, no rules and mad dog you if you look at them like they're crazy. You will probably need to take a bath in disinfectant and flea dip. Yes, it was that bad, I've never been serious as I am with this sad review. The low ratings says it all. I went to Walmart and had to use the self checkout. I start scanning an a Walmart employee, a young black man, stands directly in front of my cart as I'm scanning. I asked him to step back and he moved to the side of my cart. I asked him if there was a problem? He said nothing. I got stuck a couple of times on the register and he offered no help. He continued standing there in what I now consider to be an act of intimidation and prejudice. I say this because as soon as I was done and two black customers got in line he walked away. It's bad enough that this Walmart has only a couple of lines that you can be checked through and now they've gone into full self check mode. They have a big variety of coloring kits that includes everything from gloves to pre filled bottles of tie dye colors. They carry very inexpensive shits from 3-5 dollars that are awesome for tie dying. This Wal-Mart has everything from clothes to food to household goods everything under one roof. read more
