FIVE STAR REVIEW FOR KAELE!…read more As big of a place and the number of locations Target has... there is little wonder why it cannot get as consistent rating. For example, the $1 fee listed as a "regional charge" when you place an order online and schedule for pick-up. Bags are 10 cents! Why the up-charge?!! Also, in Redlands the store Wifi sucks, why bother? Yet! There are staff that work here that are pretty darn AWESOME! For example, Kaele! She was awesome helping me at the customer service area. She helped me get the Polaroid film I intended to buy.

If I could leave 0 stars I would for this location!! Seriously! Ever since Daniel left as store…read moremanager & Jermaine left as front end manager, this location has completely gone to s**t. First, it's always dirty, the shelves are always empty or locked with no one to open them or restock, then there is only two check lanes open, one on each side of the store & self-checkout and they still throw a fit and don't let you in that line unless you have 10 items of less. Second, costumer service is absolutely shitty, but what do you expect for a place that can't keep their older employees because they refuse to raise their pay, but higher young teenage or irresponsible lazy young adults for more than what they are paying their older employees? On top of that, everyone there except for literally two ppl I've interacted with have s*i*ty attitudes! Every single one. Guest service always has a line, no one ever picks up the phone even for drive up orders. Everyone has AirPods in or are listening to music from their phones out loud. I literally could write a book for the things I have had said to me every-time I interacted with someone. HELL, even Walmart has nicer employees and majority of them barely speak English! Lol and they all are a lot nicer and more respectful to me. Third, the shelves are EMPTY! Always! No matter what time of day or day you decide to go. On top of that, if the shel isn't empty, it's full of trash, opened or damaged products, or clearance with slim pickings. The only thing that is always stocked fully is the medicine that is still locked up. Fourth, all price tags are not showing prices anymore, and when you scan it on the phone, then scan it at the "check price" stand, and then scan it at the register, there are three different prices, even with the target circle, which I pay for!! Best believe I'm canceling tonight. After my experience today, it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Tonight's experience: CAT & JACK return policy has changed, don't believe the website, and even if you call costumer service, they still don't care. I had a few returns, not even a lot of the cat & jack stuff. A few were still brand new, had tags, and were only bought a few months ago, some were older (but no more than a year) and I bought them all with my target circle wallet and app. I asked if they still did the ID returns because it would just be easier than me having to find the different receipts for them all, they said no. SURE, still no problem the process would just take longer (but they had a long line per usual and I didn't want to hold it up any longer) but anyway, she scanned my app, only checked two pieces of clothes and said "Yah no. I can't find these on your app so I'm not going to check them anymore. You need to find your receipts." I then replied "that's not right, they're all on my app, and the website says you still have 365 days to return with receipts" then a so-called "lead" overheard and inserted himself and said "No, its only 6 months." I then started to become upset and said "I'm sorry but no. It's on the website, 365 with receipt" and then he said "Well we're not going to look for you so you need to find them yourself, even if it's on your app." I then laughed irritated, an the girl replied sarcastically "I can call a manager for you" I said no, it's okay, "I'll just talk to the front end lead", she said "he is the front end lead" I then laughed and said "No he's not, I know there are ppl who are higher than him and I named dropped because I used to work at that exact target lol then you saw there demeanor change, and she tried to call me back and said worriedly "I'm sorry, I can call my store manager" and I said "nope, it's okay. I used to work here and I know who to contact" and I walked away. Seriously guys, this location is no better than orange show. I purposely go to MoVal now just to avoid these a**holes at this target now. Stay clear, seriously.

I'm of the opinion that most of the customers that walk into this store would never go to Yelp and…read moreread this review. So this review is for the likely younger and web savvy. If that's you -- -- JCPenney offers the best value in clothing, no contest. Much better than depressing places like Walmart, Target, Ross, Burlington -- all that nonsense. It's better than Kohl's too, but not always. I know, I know -- you think JCP is for old people. So you're making the mistake of never walking in. So let me explain: parts of the store are for old people. Their kids section is sad compared to Kohl's and OLD NAVY, so you're not wrong there. However, there are departments that have been re-vitalized because of a new killer design team. Middle aged and younger women should inspect the A.N.A and WORTHINGTON departments, which greet you when you walk in. You're missing out on some stunning affordable fashion. A.N.A is like FREE PEOPLE LIte, which means not as over the top ornate or pricey. Middle aged and younger men need to sniff around MUTUAL WEAVE and sometimes ST. JOHN'S BAY. That latter brand used to be dull Midwest MEH... but it's starting to show a little life because of the aforementioned new design team. So. You've never heard of those brands, younger web savvy person? That's because they're in house brands. JCP doesn't have to pay for rights to a name, which means neither do you. That's where the value thing kicks in. If you've been brainwashed to think brand is everything, you've already stopped reading by now. But if you're still reading these words, know the shockingly good prices are in these store brands. They're not 'cheap' because they're 'junk'. They're inexpensive because there's no middle man gauging you. But so many are so brainwashed to think if a woman's sweater is $9.99 during a Doorbuster, you're being had. Nope. You're likely not. Now, if some kind reader runs in with this review and sees high prices, or let's say 'higher than Kohl's', I didn't say JCPenney's prices are always better. To get the best prices, you must -- 1. Go into the store when new shipments have arrived. Check them out. Try stuff on. 2. If you see an insanely good DOORBUSTER price, nab it. Otherwise -- 3. -- photograph the item and stalk it online. Every Friday prices can change, and you'll start to learn when to buy and when to wait. Do this over coffee as a hobby. If the prices on a few items drop, buy them online and have them delivered to the store. Also -- 4. -- join their REWARDS program. Customers that show an interest in this store can buy stuff way cheaper than casual buyers. It's like wholesale vs. retail. My partner in crime bought a simple but nice sweater, a black model long sleeve teeshirt with white stripes, and a pair of Xersion exercise pants with flairs. Cute. All three, with no rewards and no clearance: $35. Me and my partner have cleaned the store out these last 3 seasons. Kohl's may be cheaper, but lots of their stuff is cheap junk. And when JCPenney has a real sale, they're at Kohl's prices. If you don't believe me, go to YouTube and watch Kerry Spence do her JCPenney Hauls. Because she's a lady of color she prefers the Worthington stuff, whereas Redlands should lean into the A.N.A.

Avoid this store! No respect for seniors (or any customer for that matter). No respect for…read morecustomers' time. This is a titan that is getting chipped away by the small little competitors. My experience this Sunday, May 3rd, in the afternoon: I am a senior citizen. I had two orders (using two different debit cards) on one cart with 21 items, four of them were peroxide duplicates, and several other items were duplicates too. I had to use two cards because one order was from my Nations Benefit Card. The Walmart girl told me to go into the self-checkout lines which were empty (at least 6 were open). The regular cash register girls were all busy. So I gladly pushed my cart to self checkout. As I was scanning, a chubby little young Hispanic girl with glasses stopped me and told me to go the cashier line because I had too many items. I told her that the first Walmart girl ushered me into self-checkout. She told me, "I don't care, those are the rules." Then I remarked politely that I have two orders on two cards with many duplicate items. I pointed the regular cash register manned machines that were all busy (!). She said, "I don't care, those are the rules. You need to go to the regular registers." I told her she had no discretion and that she was full of baloney. (She did not understand what the word "discretion" meant.) So rather than escalate this I put things back in my cart and went to the regular checkout. Then, a scruffy security thug shows up and I hear what was probably the head cashier (an older Walmart lady, presumably the area manager), yell, "Don't let them get away with that!" She was referring to me, as if I was doing something illegal. The bloated security guard was standing there like they were about to be robbed by me. (LOL). What an unprofessional joke this store is. Very poorly managed with the employees running the store like they are little kings and the customers are the enemy. Corporate seems to be oblivious to anything other than sticking it to the consumer. This is why most of us are going to Amazon and alternative stores like Grocery Outlet, Trader Joes, etc. More experiences: 1. Try buying anything in the cabinets in the personal care section. You will wait forever. It's a joke. And so will the others in the same queue in front of you. Walmart has insufficient staff to open the cabinets for customers. Waiting more than 2 minutes is inexcusable. I go to Trader Joes instead. Walmart corporate management too lost to realize that customers go to another store. 2. Try buying a bottle of liquor. It's the same problem. It's not a crime to buy liquor, apparently. Walmart has insufficient staff to open the cabinets for customers. Waiting more than 2 minutes is inexcusable. I go to Trader Joes instead. Walmart corporate management too lost to realize that customers go to another store. 3. Jewelry department. FORGET IT! You'll be there all day. A total joke. We go to Kohls instead. 4. Employees stocking left and right. So what is the problem mentioned in 2 and 3, above. 5. Receipts often do not match posted sale prices! Five cents here and there ads up to millions. 6. Auto department register. Forget it! Same issues. Where are the employees?! You will wait for ever. 7. This QR code crap and APP baloney is ridiculous. Give us a human. 8. Last time we checked out national language is English. This constant Spanish music broadcasted on the intercoms is so annoying. By the way, I am Hispanic! More and more of us are bailing from Walmart. You can see that morale there is very low. The prices are really not that great and many are higher than other stores. The hassles, time wasting, and humiliation are simply not worth it.
