My comments are purely about the assortment of women's fashion, which I found to be very disappointing. I spent a long time in the shoe department, not looking for anything specifically but definitely on the lookout for something special, pretty, high quality. Something I was willing to pay a premium for. Three rows of shoes in each size, but dominated by 5 brands I don't like with either very basic styles or straight up rejects that were overpriced. I'm the kind of shoe shopper who will pay hundreds for a beautiful shoe, but who refuses to pay $70, $80 for a basic flat, pump or kitten heel because I know where to get it for less. So the shoe department has nothing for me. I thought I'd try to find some interesting belts-again-poor assortment and mostly basics. The womenswear is mostly merchandised by collection/brand-the racks are so small and crammed full you can't easily shop them to see what the separates are about. The dress department was sadly also disappointing-too many garish prints and similar things you'd see at TJ Maxx for less. I was looking around trying to figure out who their customer was, because it was just all over the place. I guess I expect to see at least a few special things, "scores," as we have enough retailers in that shopping center that cover career and casual basics. And their prices are no bargain. read more

I had the best customer service experience ever while being assisted by Vanessa at checkout. I had found a final sale lip gloss that I liked but it was opened. I found another one but too was opened. She expressed her disappointment that both were opened and looked up the inventory and advised me there were more on the floor. She had a store employee look for it and bring it to the checkout. I was blown away! She did this while jumping between myself and a lady she was patiently assisting with applying for a credit card. Getting there: You can actually see this store from the 210 freeway. Located on the Mountain Grove side of the plaza, you can find tons of parking in front of the store although sometimes it tends to get crowded. Experience: I find that with all Nordstrom Rack locations it's either a big hit or a big miss. This location always seems to have something that I want to buy, but don't need to buy. You can always find great name brand clothes, shoes, and I even found slightly discounted mini Hydroflasks last time I was here. Just come prepared to dig to find what you want. read more

as a new mom I was with my baby at Nordstrom rack a few days ago waiting on the check out line. This was at the store in Citrus Plaza near Redlands/Lima Linda Ca. First of all the people working the register (their were two open are extremely slow. Not only that they were very rude. My baby was crying and they kept looking back at me talking to the customers they were checking out. They gave me the dirtiest looks. I believe they were purposely going slow because they didn't like that my baby was crying and made me feel like a terrible mother. They were smirking as they looked back at me and then they would talk to the customer the customer would then turn around to look at me and then turn back to the cashier and say something then they both laughed. It was embarrassing and humiliating. I was very hurt by the ordeal. The check out clerks were sooooo slow. As a former cashier I know just how fast a customer can be checked out and it was horrendous. I don't think I'll be shopping here again. read more

I came to this Nordstrom Rack to look for inexpensive high end makeup. They had Urban Decay, Two Faced and NYX. I saw a Gwen Stefani/ Urban Decay eyeshadow palette for $24.97. Retail price was $58.00. What a steal! I have been hitting every Nordstrom Rack around to see if I can find any Mark Jacobs items. I definitely only noticed a few brand names here. I found what I wanted. They didn't seem to have very much but from what I saw, not too bad. There's a crime loss prevention guy working the front and plenty of cashiers available to assist you. Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking in front. This location was descent and had a few high end makeup brands. read more

3:5 stars. I've been to this store a few times and found the men's selection to be mediocre. There aren't too many items to choose from and have limited sizes. I know that most of these stores carry prior season's leftovers, so that's partially why. However, I've had better luck with other NRs I've been to. On my last visit, I bought a pair of shorts among other items. I then headed to TJ Maxx for some household things. Lo and behold, they carried the same shorts there for $5 less! Super long line. I literally counted 27 people waiting in line to pay. And it's only Tuesday. It's not even a weekend.

I visit this store a few days ago and noticed almost immediately a short, Black man sort of following me. As a Black woman I'm use to be profiled while shopping because everyone assumes all and only Black people steal. I typically ignore it unless it's obvious then I will say something. This particular day I was annoyed because (1) it was obvious he was following me (2) I get tired of being followed around a store it does not make for a pleasant shopping experience (3) if your secret security, which isn't so secret is going to attempt to follow people around maybe he should lighten up on the cologne. Or maybe set up cameras in a back room so your Black shoppers are not followed around like criminals when looking for a night gown and socks by someone with an entire bottle of cologne on. Hour wait in line, kept changing the occupancy quota on a board in front of the store, but was worth the wait for the prices but it took three hoUrs to check out, only thee registers open and after hearing an announcement every 40 minutes about urging the crew to clean and wipe down when I finally got close enough to the cashiers not only were they overwhelmed with all the purchases they had to walk around to the front of their registers after each sale to sanitize that area while other crew members were standing around by the registers and the front door socializing! Kudos to your cashiers, giving apologies for the long wait, checking and rechecking for sensors, stacking empty shoe boxes out of the way, calling out prices so you knew what you were paying and still remained cheerful while ringing up your merchandise. You knew if the customers were tired of the three hour line they must have been EXHAUSTED!!!!! read more

I go in and I am told I will have to wait longer and that the date they give you online when buying is usually not accurate! It's a freaken contract!! They did not even have the decency to contact me to tell me it would be delayed they just had me come in and now they want me to come in again once it arrives to cancel the order! Worked here through a cleaning agency and let me just say this place is a CRAWLING COVID i worked here for a couple months before finding out they had multiple cases of covid and were trying to keep it under wraps when i asked the manager why he didn't tell me as i am the one cleaning all the high touch point areas they responded with your not a Nordstrom employee after i contacted my boss she uncovered that this location had 5 cases of covid within the last week and our company advised them to shut down in which they responded by hiring a new cleaning company i wouldn't recommend shopping at this location as it is crawling with covid although they clean relatively often no one cleans the hangers that all the customers touch while looking through and trying on clothes i brought this up to the manager as well and they responded with this isnt a concern for the Nordstrom higher up its clear they don't care about their customers or workers because they tried to keep this covid surge under wraps and didn't want to tell anyone or warn the customers read more

This store does not deserve more than two stars. The setup looks ok but shoe racks were messier than other Nordstrom Racks. The reason for this review is Jennifer R, the cashier clerk. She spoke in a condescending tone in front of my children. She didn't even acknowledge us and her first sentence was that she didn't take cash implying I didn't possess a credit card or any card by that matter. How disrespectful of her. Then she asked if I wanted the receipt emailed to me, implying I didn't have an email account. The lack of customer service is very poor on this lady and some extensive training must be done so she is able to "serve" not to judge the customers in general. No matter what customer is first. I will update my review in the future hopefully when on my next visit to this store. read more

I was just in this store and there was a woman in front of me with no mask on at all. She was not told something until she was about to leave and already checked out. Employees themselves had their mask on under their noses, including security. There was a long line in checkout, which didn't bother me. But when I was next in line I the cashier took the lady in the returns line that had JUST walked up. I felt UNSAFE and disregarded in this store. I work in retail myself and know how some employees don't want confrontation of telling people about their masks but it needs to be done. I come to this store as a last resort or when there are few cars in the parking lot. The most frustrating part of shopping here is that despite how much staff they have, there is usually only one or two checkers ringing people up. It takes forever to get out of there. Yesterday I waited for over 20 minutes in line only to get fed up and leave without my purchase. There were 4 people behind the counter but only one checking out customers. I had spent a day looking at random stores in this location, looking for shoes. Failing that, I looked for shirts and shorts for my husband. I think this was the place that had tiny lights on their security tags on the shoes? It weirded me out a bit because I thought there was something wrong with my vision. Racks and racks of shoes in the back of the store, but really only about 2 rows for shoes in my size. Again, shoes are hit or miss and today was a miss. I didn't find anything interesting in terms of women's work wear. I looked for men's dress shirts, but the selection was overwhelmingly blue in color. This Nordstrom Rack is super new, which is a bit of a mixed blessing - it's bright, clean, and well organized, but there isn't a huge selection of clothing, and even less if you're looking in larger sizes. Still, it's worth a stop, because the selection of shoes, handbags, and other accessories is really first rate - Tory Burch bags and Kate Spade earrings were among the offerings. From the cashiers to the toys and clothes strewn around in this store. The pictures in the Yelp Review for this store (Redlands) are from when it was a "safe clean store". This has been and absolute and complete nightmare. My mom ordered a pair of shoes back in October and they were the wrong pair of shoes. She returned them and spoke to a Haute Look who lives in another country and doesn't understand English obviously. My mom picked up the new order today and the order was wrong again. This is ridiculous and Nordstrom needs to find me the new shoes. Even though they say they are out of stock And they need to find me a pair or I will be reporting them to the BBB and go all the way to Corporate.
