Stopped by during their $2.95 hand soap sale. In comparison to what they offer online, in terms of the seasonal Halloween hygiene goodies I was looking for, this store was pretty comprehensive. Unfortunately couldn't find the wallflowers that I have been eyeing but they did have some candle warmers that I haven't seen online. Everything was clean and organized. I've been to several Bath & Body Works shops in the course of their 20 year history and hands down, this location has the most friendliest and helpful staff of them all. Of course, this is my opinion, but I doubt you'll feel opposite. Upon entry, you're greeted with smiles. If you have a question, they're always there to help. The store is very well organized with visual displays so you're sure to find what you're looking here. Promotions are easily read so you won't be missing out on any deals. As always, if you have a question, just ask without hesitations. The store is rather small, so you may feel a tad bit cramped if there's a lot of people. As a freestanding store, I find people come here and leave just as fast. Unlike a store at the mall, it seems like people don't take hours here to get what they want or to "just look." During covid-19, they had lines out thr door due to limited capacity. A thoughtful toich was they offered water and umbrellas while you wait. I thought this was very nice. IE in Southern California can get hot even during winter months. Their return policy is great! You can retrun nearly anything you bought at any period of time. Whether is a wallflower for your scents or even a scent you picked up but don't like anymore. Probably one of the most generous retrun policies out there besides Costco's. Plenty of parking is offered in the plaza as there's other retail shops in proximity. Make sure to sign up woth their rewards, as once you reach a certain dollar amount, they give you a goodie. I believe even during your birthday month, they do the same. Just another way they show their appreciation to their customers. Can't go wrong there! Plenty of parking here. read more

This Bath and Body Works location is located in the Citrus Plaza outdoor mall, next to Claire's and Michael's. It's right where the driving pass-through is to the Mountain Grove side of the plaza. I was super excited when I saw the sign going up for this location a number of years back. Finally, we didn't have to drive out to San Bernardino or Riverside to visit one of their locations. Not only was my wifey and mom excited about it, but I was too. You see, I'm one of those guys who actually like Bath and Body Works. That's right. I admit it! My wifey calls this place, and others like it, a "smell-pretty store", and that's a very apt name. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted with a plethora of pretty smells; and it varies based on what time of year it is. Mmmmm... They have a larger section for men lately, which I do appreciate; but as a man, I also appreciate seeing the happiness on the wifey's and mom's faces as they are shopping for stuff they like. Pretty much everyone reading this knows what they'll find here. Candles, handsoaps, body washes, "Wallflowers", "Pocket-Baccs", lotions, etc. I particularly love seeing what scents and items of decor they get in throughout the year, especially during Spooky Season. Hey...my wife's a witch, so I can't help but get excited! A few words here about the bad reviews I've seen. So... I don't get it. I read almost all the reviews of this location and noted that many of the bad reviews came from poor customer service, and many of THOSE were approximately 2-3 years ago when we were in the middle of the pandemic. I mean, I understand that customer service is VERY IMPORTANT for businesses; especially in this day and age of Yelp and Google Reviews; word-of-mouth can spread all around the world in an instant. Yes, lines used to be long during those couple of years (sometimes a couple of hours). Yes, both inventory supply AND patience were running thin as well. It's important that we all try to show a little kindness and patience during such trying times. Personally, my experiences with the employees and managers here have been pretty positive and pleasant. I don't think I've ever come across anybody who was "clueless" and didn't know what they did or didn't have in inventory, and our experience with the site-to-store pickup feature has been very positive as well. My only gripe about here is it can get very crowded, very fast. Especially during their popular sales and promotions. The employees do try their best at "crowd control", especially when it comes to the checkout line; but it can still get a little dicey at times. Also, unless you are careful how you shop, your shopping experience here can become more than a little expensive. I highly suggest shopping their sales and promotions as well as downloading their APP and using their rewards program. You'll come out ahead if you follow these suggestions. Trust me...your dollars will go further here. read more

If Jorge isn't in a management position as a former manager he definitely needs to be promoted to one ASAP or get a raise if he is one! He felt like a friend, and had a genuine tone in his voice when asking me about my day and trying to figure out what scents I like, along with sharing which scents he enjoys. Not only that but I was convinced to walk out with SEVEN bottles of perfumes when I had all the intention on strictly window shopping simply based off of how welcomed and cared for I felt in there. As I spent an ungodly amount of time in the store I also saw him working hard and keeping the store looking spic and span. Not only that but it was his voice I heard attending to other customers in the store the same way he attended to me. This was my very first time in this location but should I ever want to splurge on some nice fragrances this will be the store I come back to in hopes of being able to interact with him again! Back in the day, I would drive to Ontario Mills to go to BBW. I'm happy there's one here in my backyard! The place is clean and of course, when you enter there's a clean fresh scent in the air. Fall sale is here so if you are looking for gifts, this is the place you can start looking. In the past I have received hand foam soaps, candles and even lotion. The workers are friendly and helpful. I've been here about 4 times over the last few years buying gifts and shopping their Semi-Annual Sale. Three out of the four times, I have not enjoyed shopping here. For some reason I keep forgetting how bad this store is and I keep going back to it. TL;DR: The customer service here is lacking, it's a small store with less variety, they run out of stock quickly, and they don't follow company policy. The first time I had called and asked for something to be put on hold. I was reassured it would be available to pick up. I stood in a 2 hour long line and then had to wait 30 minutes while the cashier looked for my item and said, "What was the name of the person you talked to? We can't find it so we don't have it." She was annoyed that I was wasting her time I guess. Y'know, after I waited in line for 2 hours. Then the manager found it quickly. The second time I came into the store for the SAS sale as someone told me they had 75% off candles. I had been to five or six other stores that day and was very aware of which candles were 75% off. But after I grabbed the ones I wanted-- all but 1 rang up 75% off. I only bought 1 candle and was scoffed at because I wouldn't buy the other candles at the $13 price tag. I didn't make a fuss that I drove out here only to be let down. I just didn't want to buy the candles that for some reason only this store had then marked up. The third time I came here was to buy some soaps during a soap sale event. They didn't have a great selection even though I came here early. It's a small store so I bought what I could find on my list and left without incident. No one was overly attentive or nice but they also weren't needlessly rude. So I thought this store might have gotten better. The fourth time I came here was to pick up an order recently. This was the only store that had this one item I was looking for. I hadn't been back here for a while since the last time. I also had a price adjustment for items that went from 50% off to 75% off. I've done price adjustments at many stores over the years and I've never had a problem. But once again, at this store there was a problem. I was told by the cashier that this store can't do price adjustments right now. I wasn't given a reason so I asked why and was told their system can't do it. She said something about the date on my receipt-- which is within 14 days of purchase per their policy. Then I was told that I could go to another store to do it. Then she changed her mind and said other stores probably won't do it. Then she said she could do a price adjustment but instead of returning the money back to my account that I would only get a merchandise credit. But the receipt clearly states I paid with a debit card. Again, she said I could go to another store but they probably won't be able to do a price adjustment either. But I still didn't have a clear explanation as to why. I called the customer service line and was told by the first person that the store was wrong and that I should go back into the store and have them do the price adjustment. She told me I needed to call the store relations number so I did and then I was told by a different person that I was wrong and that they don't do price adjustments during the semi-annual sale. She transferred me to a third person on the phone that said the individual stores can make up their own policy and rules. So I asked which location I could go in the area I was in to get the price adjustment done and was told they didn't have that information. They ended up doing the price adjustment over the phone and I'm still waiting for a refund. Right now 75% of the times that I've been to the store have been a terrible experience. And I'm not willing to come back to this location ever again. read more

Yay finally one in Redlands! The inside of this place is very modern and clean. The staff was very helpful in assisting me. I feel like I only come here when they have specials because $24 for 1 (3 wick) candle is overpriced in my opinion. But I love when they have the 3 candles for $24, in my opinion that's more reasonable. No lie their candles has the best long lasting smell in the home, the presentation of the candle decor is nice too. It can be used as a decor piece for sure. read more

I really hate to be this person but here I go cause all in all I'm not happy about how the manager crystal handled the situation. Your store sign say you open at 0630a today. The site says the same thing. You have 12 people that have been out here since 0440am and not one employee has yet to acknowledge one person but continues to stare at us through the window. We called corporate to find out store doesn't open til 1000a. Why couldn't a employee poke out and tell us this. After call corporate I tried to call the store again now it's 0649am the store manager actually picks up the phone and go" well yea we go by our own hours and not what online says." This to me is not okay, at least speak out to your guest and let us know maybe we wouldnt mind the honesty and being able to look at other stores till you open ‍... and I'm sure the manager won't get ding for her attitude, but I do believe we should all try to do better. read more

I had the worst experience at this location. As I'm in line this morning ready to make my purchase, I witnessed someone who I assume is the manager, totally go off on an employee. There was an issue with "rewards points" for the customer in front of me, I guess the employee made some mistake, she was apologizing to the customer while being yelled at by the manager. The manager was a shorter kind of chunky Hispanic woman. I felt embarrassed for the girl at the register not to mention uncomfortable for myself. I just left the items I wanted to purchase and got out of there. I hope this is not the norm for bath and body works, I usually enjoy shopping at other locations, maybe it's just this particular store. read more

They appeared more interested in completing their inventory rather than assist me with my question. When the manager finally made eye contact with me and could not avoid me, he finally asked if he could help me. I walked out. The wait was terrible today. Waited 2 hours to get inside. They had the high risk line go in first between 9-10am which was fine But they did not tell anyone that this was happening today and there were no emails saying this. I got in line at 8:20 am and was not allowed in until 10:35am. The ladies in front of me called Corporate several times and asked if they were supposed to still be allowing the high risk line after 10am and corporate said they should be alternating lines which they were not doing. Many people from the regular line hopped over to the high risk to get in faster. Several people asked the employees there why they were not rotating and they said the managers were "on the phone with corporate asking what to do". Not true since we had several people call corporate and got through right away to say the same thing that they are to rotate between the lines. I'm happy with my purchases but the customer service was terrible. They honestly didn't care and made us wait longer for calling corporate and complaining. Maybe they should've gotten proper training and they've been reopened for 5 days now so they should've had the system down by now. read more

I went about two weeks ago, when the annual sale started. My first time shopping at this location but I'm a usual customer who absolutely loves Bath and Body works products. I was extremely unsatisfied with the customer service that was given to me. I was never offered assistance for the most part i don't need it but sometimes I do have questions. One of the employees said excuse me so I moved and apparently since I wasent moving fast enough she told me I need to get thru!! I was shopping for about a 1 1/2 and the line was going in a circle since the store is small, come to find out there was suppose to be two lines forming no one was ever told and it caused a guest to yell at me when I was told at the last minute. I understand how busy the holidays are and it can get overwhelming but this was just too much. I'm never shopping at this location again and know some of my friends won't as well..The customer service in the Inland Center mall is my go to place. I highly recommend it..they tell u about additional coupons they have as well.. read more

There needs to be better costumer service during this Holiday shopping time. I stood in line for 2 hours to get in the store, only to find out when I got close to the front, they were only allowing 4 people in the store at a time, including children. There were employees standing around trying to look busy, but with only a couple of people shopping, and a line of people wrapped around the building. That is very poor business rules, even in a pandemic. I learned a valuable lesson, that my time is worth more that I need your soaps. read more

Had to wait in line and although there were only 4 people ahead of me, when the temp was 107, 10 minutes was too long. Then, they had small bottles of water that were in the store and had the sun shining directly on them. I'm sure that water was very hot! Went in today 11-10-19 and omg this is a amazing store friendly employees knowledgeable in their products , asked a question to a lady in the front named Meghan assuming she was the manager and she was amazing. She let me know that they had a $10 off $30 coupon in their app so I quickly downloaded it she also mentioned that you can earn free items and we'll I'll be here a lot for the holidays it is gonna be useful. I saw previous reviews talking about customer service. I was in the store 4/1/19 and the service was excellent. Not only was I immediately greeted, I was asked if I was looking for something in particular. When I said no, the gal pointed out all the sale items. She answered a couple questions and then let me shop. Perfect. The store was busy. There were 2 cashiers and a line, so another salesperson picked up one of those hand held card readers to help customers in line who were paying by debit or credit.. i gave this location 1 star because i had to in order to do this reviewi shopped at this store this past sat with my elderly mother and she made a mistake to pick an item that wasnt part of the sale, we waited to pay for our items for a very long time wich is understandable due to the sale. once we paid we realized we were over charged we were still standing by register i asked the cashier if she could get a price adjustment she said we had get back in line that it was in the store policy well to make this short i spoke to corporate and they assured me that this was not in their policy and that they were very sorry for my inconvenience. so if u shop here be aware that this people make their own policies and provide no customer service!!!!!! very rude managers that need to be retrained to service people. read more
