My husband need to get clothes, belt, and some shoes for a job interview next week. Kohl's had everything he needed in his size. I found his leather oxfords that were Nun Bush brand for $20! Then when we got to self checkout a sales associate named Denise was very helpful. she also gave us an envelope that when I opened it, it had $24 dollars of Kohl's cash to spend on our purchase today. The envelopes have various amounts and are being giving out this weekend. If Denise hadn't told me about the envelopes, I wouldn't have known they were being handed out. I visited this location yesterday to pick up my online order that I placed earlier in the week. This was my first time picking up an online order at Kohl's so I asked an associate for help. She was kind and directed me to an aisle full of open bins with numbers on them. I had the bin number from my order confirmation and proceeded to look for my order. I found the bin but it was empty. I located the same associate again and she did a double check and couldn't find the order either, and refunded my money. This was extremely disappointing because not only had I already paid for this item, it was on sale when I ordered it and now it's not, it was a gift and the store didn't have another in stock. Now I have to reorder the same item to have it shipped to my home or find another store with availability.. at a higher price. I find really odd that orders that have already been paid for are out in the open for anyone to grab and take. read more

Went to front to ask price on some shoes employee helped me with and then I asked if he could ask someone to help me in the shoe area to see if they had my size. No one came to help waited 15 minutes then I saw the employee that helped me first and asked if I was helped I said no and he was sorry that he couldn't help me I said it was ok kept waiting no one showed up. Went to the front ask another employee if I can talk to a Manager she said ok. I heard her call the manager said she was coming over and I still waited again no one showed up. I normally don't shop at Kohls, but my hubby was looking for some Nike gear for our vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Sephora's inside, so of course I went shopping there inside. Bought myself a sample set of perfume because I wanted to try different scents on my before I buy the bigger bottle of them. Clean store. Plenty of room for parking outside. Only one employee in Sephora to help you so if someone's keeping her busy you'll have to wait a bit before you can purchase your item. However the employee was quite nice and friendly. read more

This review is to reflect the Sephora located inside the Kohl's store. I didn't get a chance to leave a Kohl's customer review/survey, so I decided to write it here. The Sephora staff members, Sallie and Jeanette, were absolutely wonderful! I couldn't thank them enough for their kindness and effort to help me (a random customer). I had trouble making a Sephora return (which I bought it at a Kohl's Sephora). I didn't have a paper receipt but the Sephora app definitely showed that I purchased a foundation - that I was trying to return. Man, oh man. Sallie and Jeanette must have spent a good 30 - 40 minutes helping me, calling in all sorts of managers and experts. They could have easily dismissed me or re-directed me to somewhere else, but it absolutely touched my heart that they tried so hard to help me. If anyone from corporate or higher up is reviewing my Yelp review, please promote or recognize Sallie and Jeanette for their 10 out of 10 customer service!! My wife is still reeling about the great haul she managed to get at yesterday's Kohl's shopping trip. Let's back up a bit... My wife is currently pregnant and has been looking for great deals on maternity clothes. Unfortunately, most places--including the internet--sell maternity clothes from $20 onward. We even tried Target, and their collection started at $23. We were about to give up hope when my wife suggested that we try Kohl's. Mind you, Hawai'i doesn't have a Kohl's so we weren't sure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the clothes and the cleanliness of the store. My wife and I were able to find the maternity section with clearance racks. For around $50, she was able to snag three tops/blouses, one maternity pant, and one maternity dress. That's roughly $10 per item! The best part was that the staff were really nice and friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. They also let us keep the hangers which was a nice perk. I think this might be our go to store as it is a sells high-quality items like Nordstrom Rack with deals like Ross! read more

I had questions regarding Kohl's cash, and having a Kohl's account. I had Kohls cash gifted to me. I have never shopped at Kohls before. I came in to ask questions at the front register with an African American lady with a head wrap on her head. I can't believe the rudeness your cashiers have. I work in customer service myself, and when I say this to the management you should have a meeting on customer service, and curtousy. I was told that there is too many fraudulent cash cards, almost insinuating that I did something wrong. This is before I did my actual shopping... So guess what? The signage above the sections do not match the items. The men's "big and tall" section was all track suits and pajamas. The clothing selection is limited to small or slim-fit sizes. Kohls Department Store is located on Lugonia Ave., in Redlands. I really enjoy shopping at this location for several reasons. First of all, this location is always clean even when the store is really busy because of a sale you'll be able to find what your looking for because the employees are always on the floor cleaning. Secondly, customer service is great! There are employee in each department working & are happy to help you if you need them. Finally, the best part about shopping at Kohls is Kohls Cash, they give to you after you purchase a large amount of items. This past Saturday I bought so much stuff that i earned $30 in Kohls Cash. Let's face it: it's usually difficult, at least in my experience, to find quality and value at the same time, and clothing is no exception. i appreciate that Kohl's has almost continual sales and regular discount coupon offerings by mail, and can only hope those discounts represent true savings off of legitimately marked prices (maybe ignorance is bliss :). Granted you may not find quite the vast selection of one of the big-name department stores, but every category is clearly represented and the layout is easy to navigate. I've found the cashiers to be relatively efficient at keeping the line moving even during busy seasons like the holidays, the customer service desk is good about accepting returns/refunds, store hours are generously late if you like avoiding rushes, and a new plus is the Amazon return drop-off center. Generally my purchases consist of Levi's, button-down shirts of various kinds (Sonoma and Apt 9 are solid brands), socks, and the odd sweater, and my experience with all of this has been good. Maybe my only memorable gripe would be that once, while browsing a shelf of screen-printed tees, I tried chit-chatting with the young lady folding shirts by admiring one that displayed the graphic of the Dark Side of the Moon album. I went shopping at the north Fontana store earlier in this trip because I am used to Redlands having scarce pickings on big shopping weekends. I did not have my Kohl's charge with me, and the associate that was my cashier told me they could look up my credit card with my driver's license. I had no idea, and that is super handy!! Later in the day my sister called me and told me some shoes I was looking for were actually at the Redlands store. I drove over to get them and forgot my Kohl's charge again but I was okay with it because I knew they could look up my card. When I waited in line and finally got to the front, the associate told me that they could not look up my card. I don't know if the policy is different between stores but I doubt it is because I have also worked retail, albeit not Kohl's, and I know that what is something like account look up is not something that is individual to stores. I ordered some shoes online and went to go pick them up. I went to the self pickup in the back of the store and you are supposed to go to your email and enter a code to get a number to pick up your order. I entered the code and never got a number so I had no idea which self pick up bin my order was in. I asked the guy that was working in the self pick up and Amazon returns area he tried to scan a barcode on my phone but said he couldn't find it and was unable to help me and to go to the front of the store. Another girl tried to help me but she said she didn't know what to do so she told me to talk to this lady on the phone. I'm standing there for a good twenty minutes waiting for this lady to get off the phone while other employees are just looking at me not asking if I need help or anything until finally another girl says she will go to the back to check for my order. It finally got sorted out it might be because it's close to the holidays but it seems like the employees are just walking around not knowing what to do. I've never waited more than 10 minutes, as the employees are very fast with returns and I have never run into an issue here. I came with my box still open, with no tape or shipping label and the employee scanned my QR code and said "have a nice day. This would be the worst review I could leave if it weren't for Katrina saving the day! I went to exchange a pair of shoes for a little girl and this man originally helped me said the store has 5 in stock. I looked myself and couldn't find them so I asked for help. He said he'd check in back and was gone for 15 minutes. Came back and apparently there were no shoes in the store. My next step was to see if they had them online and then do an exchange. As I stood in line my sister and I were complaining to each other about what a bummer it was and honestly who wants to be out with everyone else after Christmas. LUCKILY, Katrina over heard while she was helping another customer. She heard our story and said she'd go look in back for us. SHE FOUND THEM!!!!! Came here Saturday, 9/1/18 with my bf ... we came to buy him some jeans. We were looking around in the clearance section and happened to find a pair of 501 jeans for $6.95. We figured wow what a great deal; but the jeans did have a little rip in the front as well as some pinkish light colored stains. We figured that's why the price was so low .. We go to pay and we were told that we wouldn't be able to purchase the clearance jeans as she said the "tags were switched". We found the jeans that way with the $6.95 price.... and i know in retail if you find an item with a certain price; the store has to give it to you for that price. Cashier was very very RUDE... . I was very disappointed and nervous going to Kohls Monday 11/9/2020. I saw an entire family of two adult women and at least four children five and above without masks. No masks around their chins even. The family was taking up several of the dotted area while checking out. Then I went to buy my purchases and ended up in the same checkout lane. The whole family spread out crowding my side and cash register area. I felt extremely uncomfortable that not one employee intervened when there were several employees handy on an early weekday afternoon. When I was leaving I informed the door person I was crowded and uncomfortable as they family had no masks and were not social distancing. She said if someone tells them they have a medical condition they don't have to wear a mask in kohl's stores? I don't see that anywhere in state or medical mandates not on door signs of your store. I work in a medical setting and so does my sister and I have never heard of this. Plus for a store to allow this? Very dissatisfied with the door persons response and lack of assistance from staff.
