I walked in with my daughter, and right away, the vibe was unwelcoming. One of the young employees looked me up and down and didn't even bother to greet us. Another employee glanced our way, then quickly turned around to avoid interaction. Not a single "hello" or "can I help you?" While I understand that the store is geared toward a younger demographic, it's important to remember that it's often the parents who are making the purchases. A welcoming atmosphere and basic professionalism should be standard for any retail environment. It's disappointing to see this kind of consistent feedback being overlooked from years of yelp reviews giving the same feedback. read more

I came to Downtown Redlands looking to walk around and went inside this store. I wasn't greeted with a "Hello" or "How can I help you." I walked around for about 15-20 minutes and found a few items I thought were cute and was finally greeted by a lady who asked if I'd like to try the tops on. I felt kinda weird because maybe I shouldn't shop there because I'm not in my teens or 20's anymore, but why should it matter? Anyways, I ended up buying a top and a dress for what seemed like high priced, but I bought it anyways. Will I go back? Maybe? I don't know. It's a cute shop and I wish it had more variety. Way overpriced and a frankly racist experience from staff. Came with my girlfriends and helped her shop. Despite several other guests in the store, the associates crowded around us and would ask every few minutes about if we needed help once we started going thru clothes. Funny enough, they didn't even acknowledge us with a greeting when we walked in lol. While purchasing, they asked my girlfriend what her job was because they were shocked she was purchasing so many clothes. Why would you even ask something like that? The entire experience was rude as the associates callously checked us out and seemed satisfied we were gone. Cute store located in Redlands. They have a variety of clothing, accessories and shoes. I usually stop into the Orange location but this one was close to me. Customer service is great, they are always helpful without being too aggressive or nosey. I always stop into Nectar for birthday gifts because I know I can find a variety of things that I know I won't find elsewhere. Nectar also has a rewards system so after a certain amount of points you can get money off your next purchase. The only bummer about this location is that there is no public restroom nearby. The girl told me the closest would be the CVS which is across the street (I do not advise going there its a dump). read more

I love Nectar! I've been a loyal shopper at the Redlands location since they first opened shop however many years ago that was. I am always able to find cute clothes for mostly affordable prices. They have a great selection of items that are both trendy and timeless. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have a great rewards system that is definitely worth signing up for. My only complaint is that the quality of the clothes is sometimes subpar. I mean, I know that is generally to be expected considering the price, but I've had so many items from here that just don't hold up that long, so you do get what you pay for. But if you're looking for some pieces to add to your wardrobe for the season but not necessarily a lifetime, I would recommend stopping by because I'm sure you'll find something great! read more

Wow such great and super sweet workers! I came in last minute this past Saturday trying to find an appropriate outfit for church. They have an amazing selection of clothes both conservative and some clothes that show some more skin, very cute I bought more than was expecting too. I only had a little bit of time to shop because it was closing, and was helped by Katie and Karli they're helpful and so cute! So I had to come back and get some more things and for a Monday and small staff Karli was holding it down!!! She was bombarded with so many customers helping all of them multi taking and checking everyone out and giving them fitting rooms as well as getting stuff from the back it would of been chaotic if it was a regular old worker but she powered through and maintained the same helpful, attentive, happy attitude towards all customers I was impressed. Half my wardrobe is from this store. I love shopping there. It's a little pricey and the quality isn't that good sometimes. My stuff gets holes. And their clothes don't really fit curvy women. Another complaint: their sales aren't good. I am part of their email list and receive their sale alerts but nothing I see on there is an actual sale. For example their Black Friday sale was buy one get one 50% you're still paying full price for one thing. That didn't sound like an actual deal in my eyeballs. But even then that doesn't drop their score down in my book. I will shop till I drop there. All the workers are really nice too! I've never encountered anyone mean there. I only shop online but I like their stuff. Better quality than F21. I purchased two sweaters from them and a few dresses. They were delivered so quickly & I got so many compliments. In regards to the people up in arms on Instagram about them using a term that wasn't intentionally meant to be a racial slur. We all say dumb things sometimes. Quit being so sensitive. I found a bunch of cute clothes and jewelry here. My only issue is that they only carry a large and some pieces are a small large with is annoying I wish you would go up to a XL. 1st time shopping at Nectar in Redlands. So adorable!! We walked thru the alley of umbrellas before stopping in to shop. Perfect shopping date with my teen. The shop was so stinkin cute!! Love when a shop is kinda color coordinated, this place is an easy shop with perfect flow. They have cute accessories that i hvt seen, lots of necklaces, belts, earrings & purses. I felt the clothing was all reasonably priced, i would compare the prices to f21. I was impressed with how friendly all the employees were. This is a cute little trendy boutique in downtown Redlands, right on the main street. The clothes here are about Forever 21 quality and up to the minute trendy. This is good because trendy is where you want to save money since it's only for a season. Get: fun, wild, trendy tops/dresses, seasonal accessories (great statement necklaces/earrings) Trend shoes basic camis light scarves/hats Skip: Nail polishes heavier items (they all tend to be polyester blend stuff here) coats staple shoes (they aren't going to last too long with moderate wear) I bought a felt hat the other day and it is very cute and was about $20. A really fun addition for Fall. Check back when you're nearby, they get new stuff very often. Dressing rooms are nice and private and the girls working there are really nice. Bonus: You can take advantage of their sales and selection online and have them delivered free to the store in Redlands for pick up if it's convenient. read more
