Everyone I come into this torrid the ladies are always so helpful. I've never had bad service here. The selection is pretty good for it not being a huge store. When shopping at torrid you really have to time your shopping to ensure you're getting the best value. You don't want to shop when there's no sales because it can get quite costly. I love it here! They have a larger selection that many others in the IE and ... they have "Ideal" working there I may have botched her name, but!!!! She is amazing. The last 2 times I've been shopping here I've been sorely disappointed. Their customer service is not anything near what it should be. They're usually very good about welcoming people into the store and starting a fitting room. Today, I walked in, no one acknowledged me (there were quite a few people there, so that was understandable). But as I started gathering things to try on, no one approached me to start a fitting room. I even stood by the fitting room entrance for a good 5 minutes and still nothing. I frequently shop here strictly for sale items and undergarments. Torrid in general is very pricey and I'm not willing to shell out that much for basic designs . Hence why I shop their sales, but I will applaud them for their undergarments. They're nice quality and cute designs. As for the store it's so-so. It's always a mess , their clearance section is scary. Nothing is sized , it's only organized by tops vs bottoms but even then it's not done well. The gals who work there are usually friendly and let you know what deals they have going on. Personally I believe they are understaffed. There's only 2 people working at a time and they're always busy so usually I have to wait for a fitting room and then to check out another long wait. This store needs two upgrades, more staff and a cleaner well organized store. read more

I went in today and was greeted immediately by somebody. Chelsey was the associate that helped me the whole time I was there from opening fitting rooms for me to me having her run back into the stock room various times to find a certain boot for me. She really helped me out a lot! And I loved that she was very patient with me! She helped me order my boots and even helped me find the perfect size for leggings. I love that she helped me from beginning to end! And I will definitely be coming here again. read more

They just changed locations in the mall and I don't like it all. I have gone twice , trying to give it a chance the second time.. for some reason I get grossed out, the carpet is so dirty and there is stuff everyone..not living up to torrid brand. So sad!!! read more

I HATE this torrid. Absolutely HATE this place. Don't come here they have horrible customer service! The WORST! the associates will not do a return. They will talk to each other and make u wait. I went to return a dress and was told I can't return it?! Because they couldn't find the transaction. Even when I had the receipt and my card?! This place is horrible. I'm so upset with how I was treated like I was stealing!! I HATE hate hate this torrid. I've been here like 10 times and everytime I tell myself it will be different this time it's not. I'm the stupid one for returning to try to shop here. Don't waste ur time at this torrid. Go to another one! Aubry "one of the managers" as she says. Is a total bee!! She is the worst! I don't believe she is a manager! She makes my blood boil. It sucks that there customer service over the phone is 100x times better then in store! The associate Aubrey Mendoza seemed very agitated during my return. she failed to provide any sort of alternate method to fix my problem or proper customer satisfaction. I was returning a shirt that I ordered online a week prior but unfortunately, the receipt was not in the bag and the prior associate must have thrown it away while putting my items in the bag. As I explained my situation Aubrey did not try to comfort me or try to understand why I was upset. She just set my feelings aside and gave me an inappropriate answer every time I tried to ask her if there was another way to get the credit back onto my Torrid Credit card. After this horrible experience, I did get in contact with another Torrid store to discuss what options I had to get in contact with someone that could help. I explained my situation about Aubrey Mendoza and was told she is known to have a very rude personality. Torrid is about making customers happy and giving them the best possible checkout experience no matter the circumstance. This positive experience is what usually occurs when I enter any Torrid. But I was let down today and will never return to this store ever again. read more
