Oh this place is cute! I'd actually never shopped here before! But I had an ad pop up on my phone for some cute mauve pants (which I wore to tea yesterday with friends) and I decided to make a purchase online for their Labor Day sale. I ended up saving about $30 on the purchase through their sale. I opted for store pick up. That may have been a bad idea for my wallet because they have a lot of cute things in store! I was greeted upon entering and helped right away. I asked if I could try the pants on in store prior to leaving and that was not a problem. They set me up in a dressing room quickly. I loved them, so the transaction was pretty much done--quick and easy. Got the final receipt texted to me as I was walking to my car. I told my kids about my great experience and now they want us all to go lol! read more

I thought that the Google ad for this Retail establishment was on point. I liked the lighter wash on the clothes and I'm sure there are great colors to pick from. Love AE. I've worn there jeans for a long time. They are comfortable and affordable. But this location does not have the friendliest customer service. I noticed none of the employees ever smile. I went to try on a some jeans so I waited in line at the fitting rooms. All of the curtains were fully closed so we all assumed the rooms were occupied. It was pretty awkward since we didn't want to just open up the curtains if someone was in there changing. We waited there for a pretty long time and a few ladies that worked there passed by and didn't even acknowledge us. I went to ask an associate and she didn't even look at me and said to just go in any of them. read more

Recently became of fan of AEO's jeans and button-downs. They seemingly have sales all the time and they actually sell Tall sizes. I went in this past weekend to process a return and exchange. Kristen and Corrine were so professional and triple-checked everything to ensure I got the correct refund. My 4-star review is more of an AEO policy; the company only sells Tall sizes online. I wish they stocked Tall sizes in-store so us vertically-gifted can try things on like the rest of the world. read more

I went into this location today to buy a pair of jeans not knowing what to expect. I was greeted by JUDY and received by far the BEST customer service. She went above and beyond for me while I was there, she is very professional and definitely a gift to retail sales. She personally shopped for me to meet my needs and she performed way above expectation. She not only found me jeans to fit my body type but she checked on me and made me feel comfortable making decisions. She also brought me tops flattering to my body and she was completely honest. At checkout she helped me receive the best discounts and even went as far as checking online to ensure I received the sale prices. Judy is a gift, I'm so glad I got the pleasure to shop with her. I went yesterday to buy some new jeans and shorts, and immediately I was ignored, never welcomed or greeted, and no one asked if i needed help. About 15 minutes into my visit, I asked for a fitting room and an employee walked up, didn't say a word, unlocked the door and just walked away with attitude, looking like she didn't want to be there. When I was paying turns out that that employee was the manager that goes by Sandy. The only thing that made my visit better was the cashier, who was very nice and helped me sign up for the rewards program. read more

I've been here so many times and even the location at Ontario Mills but I always felt they have a better jean selection at this location! But the customer service here was by far the best I've had! Right when I walked in I was greeted by one of the employees fixing and folding the jeans on display and asked immediately what kind of jeans i was looking for (like she knew I wanted a particular pair). I asked if they had anymore of the high waisted black jeans with the tears at the knees and unfortunately they stopped carrying it (I checked online and other locations and they also don't have it anymore). She showed me some jeans which I tried on and she even suggested me to try a pair I originally wouldn't have picked out. I loved that she seemed to know my style and went out of her way to find jeans that I would fall in love with. I'm in love with American Eagle jeans and they are one of the few I would wear (I'm really picky with denim material). I ended up getting a pair of black jeans vary similar to my favorite black jeans with the rips at the knees and even a blue pair of jeans that I wouldn't have picked out that the girl suggested (I wish I remembered her name!!) I also got a flannel and a tank. I've always loved this location and never disappointed with the customer service :) read more

Visited this store earlier today (Saturday August 8th around 6pm) and received the best customer service I've gotten from a retailer in ages! The girls there are so helpful and efficient and I enjoyed everything about my visit. The girl at the door greeting customers in was so friendly and helpful (didn't get her name). Alyssia also helped me find some shorts and Priscilla at the fitting rooms was a sweetheart too and offered to grab me sizes. Overall, this location had such great customer service (which you don't find too often at other stores). Although I didn't find what I was looking for on this particular visit (no ones fault), I had to compliment this store on their genuine desire to assist their customers in the best way possible. I will definitely continue to shop at this location from here on out because of them. read more

Love the clothes... good customer service. How ever the store is very dirty and dusty. The fitting rooms have about 3 inches of dust on the floors and walls. People have to set some of those personal items in the floor and it will get them all dirty. The shelving and lights are also very dirty. I think this store could use a good detailing. read more

I came here for a very simple suggestion. Have a designated area for a wide selection of leggings in the store. I went in, and there was about 20 different odds and ends of leggings shoved in some back corner. I was happy to spend $25 in this store for leggings, instead I went to Lululemon and spent $100. Just like jeans, have a good area with a decent selection. read more

Yes American Eagle has some of the best fitting jeans for the price but let me tell you... This location had some of THE worst customer service I have ever had at an AE. It all started when I came in to return a couple pairs of jeans(which I had the receipt for, by the way!), because the fit was horrible on both and one pair had that stinky chemical odor that I could just not wash out. I bring my returns up to the counter to possibly exchange for another pair and a rather bland employee says she'll have to ask her manager if she can return the jeans because they have been worn. Manager comes up, looks at the jeans and says "these have been worn so I can't return them" I informed her of the return policy on the back of the receipt and then she said "oh okay well I can return them" but went on to make a couple snarky remarks about how I had bought them on clearance. Cmon lady--you're the MANAGER, you should know your store policies inside and out! And have at least adequate customer service skills. I think I might stick to online orders only for ae--at least the website won't give me attitude... read more

As I was trying items on the young lady working recommended different styles of jeans for me to try, which I ended up loving! I also added 2 super soft tops I was recommended which came out very inexpensive with their bogo offer! We were welcomed when we walked in. But the manager was the only one in the back of the store and she was on the computer the whole time looking at the schedule. I know this because my work using the same scheduling system. So nobody offered to help us. I was looking through clearance and none of them have markdowns on them. I was thinking they were in the wrong spot. So I asked the manager if it was 50% off of the original price or a markdown. She said that if it didn't have a white markdown tag that it was 50% off that. Well that doesn't make sense. It's a clearance rack. I'm thinking she didn't finish her markdowns and was trying to cover it up. Nothing was sized and there were items on the floor. Not impressed. Pay more attention to your customers AE! I used to work for the company in college and we had stellar customer service. I hope this isn't how the company has evolved. I hope it's just this store. read more

This American Eagle store was extremely disappointing. When I walked in with my friend we were not greeted. No one came to ask how we were doing, if we needed help. After finding my pair of shorts to try on, we went to the dressing room to try it on. A wonderful guy named Evan helped us and he was super friendly and helpful. So we go to the cashier to pay and I swear we waited 30 min. The line was already really long and at first there were three cashiers but then the line got longer and the third cashier left. WTF?! I understand that part of customer service is to be friendly and to make conversation but YOU'RE HOLDING UP THE FRIGGIN LINE. Every time they checked in a piece of clothing they called their manager over. Every single time. Really?! It seemed as if they didn't know what they were doing! Two stars go to Evan for his excellent service. Other than that, this place deserves less than a one star. read more
