I've been a loyal Bath & Body Works customer for years and purchase products monthly. Recently, I bought six bottles of foaming hand soap, and when I went to use one, the soap came out completely watery. I went into the store to exchange it, but because I didn't have my receipt, I was told they could only give me a $3 credit instead of doing an even exchange. The associate explained that they have to "return" the product before selling me the exact same fragrance again. Honestly, who keeps receipts for everyday items like hand soap--especially when purchases are made through the rewards program? Most stores can easily look up transactions using your phone number or rewards account. It's 2025, not 1990--time to update your system, Bath & Body Works. For what these products cost, the customer service should be more accommodating. An even exchange for the same product shouldn't be this difficult. read more

Update: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Plain and simple, no other words! Store manager sucks. The store manager simply doesn't believe in return customers and it's obvious by her lack of customer service. Tried to return something and was told she couldn't. I go to another store in Redlands and without hesitation, item returned with pride. I will say store is still always stocked but the customer service has tanked. It's too bad. Definitely go somewhere else where you'll have a pleasant full shopping experience somewhere else. Fontana location, manager Kat refused to allow an even exchange. I had a scent that I did not like. The bottle was clearly hardly used at all. I didn't want cash back at all. I only wanted to exchange for scent that i enjoyed. She said i would have to pay the difference because it wasn't on sale on the day i came in. Amazing customer service. Today they had the hand soaps on sale for 3.25 each but you had to go in the store. I went after a long day of work and waited 25 minutes outside in line and once I got in the store I realized my husband never put my debt card back in my wallet. Luckily CATHY the employee was so kind she let me go get my card and return without waiting in line again Thank God I waited 25 minutes in the line prior. I definitely couldn't do that again. I spoke to Katrina about it and asked for a refund which she took care of. She not only took care of it but she followed up with a call to make sure I received a refund email. I went in the other day to pick up an order that I made online! One of the team members who was working the front of the store was yelling at guest inside store about spend $40 get $10 off. Which Made think to myself, and wonder what happened to the bath and Bodyworks culture. Which made me feel like I am at a swap meet, and the managers doesn't seem to care. I don't mean to sound like a commercial that promotes how great a product is because we already know how amazing this products are for their famous fragrances. We can all admit to have at least 1 product from BWW! Out of the hundreds of variety of scents and fragrances that this brand carries, I always leave the store with one favorite scent in mind after each visit. Today I came across a collection of candles with different city names but this particular scent called "New York" stood out to me. It has a wonderful balance of berry sweetness (not overwhelmingly sweet) yet very refreshing scent. I think this is a cool way of soothing the feeling of a big bright and busy city that can sometimes be overwhelmingly crowded but can always find comfort at your home and that is what I think this candle is about... I might have just gotten too attached to this scent lol. Lastly, staff at this location is just great, polite, always reaching out to you with help and great deals that are not only offered in store but other great offers in the app that aren't offered in store. read more

Due to Covid 19 there are more employees in the store than customers. The 8 people allowed in store is not real since employees is also included in the 8 people allowed. This means that bath and body works spend more money in the employees salary than sales since total customer's allowed is only 3 lol. 5 employees is in total inside yhe store lol. I purchase a birthday gift online and pick up at the store. I had the worse experience customer service starting with cashier was awful. This store should try one customer flow not three customers at once that's when you make mistakes. Well they forgot to put one item in my bag . I called to let them know and Jacqueline or Jacky the supervisor treated me with so much disrespect she literally call me a thief. I pay for my product . She explained to me it was my fault for not checking my bag and she wouldn't give me my product. She was so rude I wanted to go there and go off on her but it was my daughter's birthday so just decided to chill. Jacqueline even told me to go F myself and find another location to go shop. Jacqueline should not even be working around customers she is awful and doesn't know how to have customer obsession . We customers pay her check because of us you guys get paid. My go to bath & body works! They usually have little water bottles for the people waiting in line. They always let you sample the hand sanitizer while waiting in line. They don't have very many seasonal things. Staff is very nice. read more

The ladies that work here are SO SO pleasant and wonderful to be around. They love their job and it's very apparent because every time i come in here I'm not even in the store within five minutes before they ask me if I'm doing okay or if I need anything to matter how busy it is. And they never sound intrusive they're always very warm and welcoming. And they never get frustrated or take a deep sigh if I ask for a candle that requires a ladder. They always look genuinely happy and that means a lot to me as a customer. Honestly this location needs to stay open forever because it's SO awesome to be able to go to BBW without dealing with the overwhelming crowds at the mall and shitty parking lots at Ontario Mills. read more

Do not come here! Drive a little further to Redlands or North Fontana- they are always super nice there! Stopped by to exchange hand soaps for a different scent. I was told by Cathy that they couldn't exchange them because I purchased them at semi annual sale price and because the sale was still active, I couldn't do an exchange. I let her know I wasn't aware because I had done the exact same thing at another store and wasn't told otherwise or told it was being done as a courtesy. She then said what I did was "illegal" and the store shouldn't have made the exchange. If it was "illegal" why did the other store not say anything at all to me and still proceed to do the transaction?! Oh and not just 1 store but 3 stores have done exchanges on soaps AND candles for me in the past! She said it was in their policy so I asked to see it or for her to show me where I can find that info because again, I have NEVER had an issue exchanging a scent before. None of the 3 stores have ever mentioned it is against store policy. She calls her manager Katrina who proceeds to say the same thing so again I asked where does it state that because I have never had any issues. She is unable to show me. They're saying their policy doesn't allow them to do the exchange but aren't able to show me where in their policy it states that?!! After 15 minutes of going back and forth Katrina says she will do it as a "courtesy". lady you could have saved us both time by doing it to begin with. Looks like their "policy" isn't much of a policy since I was still able to do what I went in to do!! By the way, I was only exchanging 2 soaps- Bunch of clowns!!! read more
