This is my favorite place to shop for all things beauty. At Ulta, you can browse skincare, get your makeup done, and actually learn a few things while you're there. It's more than just a store, it's an experience. About a year ago, one of the reps at this location introduced me to Peach & Lily, and I swear by it now. Their products have helped my skin a great deal, and I'm truly thankful for that recommendation. The store is always friendly, and I usually get help right when I walk through the door. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and never makes the experience feel rushed or pressured. I typically spend between $120 and $200 per visit, and it's always worth it. This is by far my favorite beauty store and my go-to location. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

This review is for the Salon. I had my hair colored and highlighted by Amy in May and was genuinely impressed with the quality of her work. Based on that positive experience, I rebooked another appointment with her for August 30th. Unfortunately, the follow-up experience has been extremely disappointing. On August 25, just four days before my scheduled appointment, Amy called to inform me that she no longer works on Saturdays. She stated this has been the case for the last month. Despite Knowing she would be unavailable for a month, my appointment had remained scheduled for a Saturday. No effort was made to inform me sooner than 4 days to reassign me to another stylist with open availability, to accommodate my service. When I asked for a recommendation for another stylist, Amy was hesitant and eventually told me the only available option didn't have any openings until September 13, well after the date I had planned for. I have prior commitments and, like many people these days, need to schedule appointments well in advance. Last minute cancellations are not just inconvenient they disregard customers time which is priceless. To add context, I paid $350 for the initial service (not including a tip and without a haircut), so this is far from a casual booking. This experience marks the third time I've left an Ulta Salon feeling like my time and loyalty as a paying customer weren't valued. As if I were receiving a favor rather than a professional service. As a returning client, I expect better communication, accountability, and customer care. I hope Ulta takes this feedback seriously and considers how situations like this can be handled more respectfully and professionally in the future. read more

As I entered the store, no one greeted me and I saw several staff all around the store but no one was assigned to greet customers???? Came here for the first time with my daughter to get color matched. From the time we entered till the time we left was 10 min. I wasn't expecting a glamorous makeover but while my daughter was getting color matched an associate, asked the lady who was working on my daughter if she could take on another person and right away she said yes and it was hurry hurry, hurry and yes, I'm glad my daughter got what she needed. The cashiers are very rude and they have no customer service at all. This was my first time there at that location and I will definitely not be back. As soon as I walked in everyone was looking at me and I was trying to find my items but I was getting lost no one helped me and they walked past me multiple times. And when I went to the line there was two people at the register and no one helped me or even told me where the line started and no one was in line besides me but I guess I was on the wrong side and she help looked up at me and didn't tell me nothing and called the person who came after me in the line to the register and then the guy next to her looked at me and didn't direct me or acknowledge me and called another person who went to the other side and I told them that I was in line way before the other two customers and that's when the girl told me "the line is over there" and I told her why didn't she tell me after saw me standing there for a while with product in my hand and she said "oh I thought you were here for pick up" and I told her no so basically your not going to acknowledge a customer even if it was for a pick up and the guy told me at the next register "the line starts over there" and I told him why didn't he tell me anything when he looked directly at me standing there before anyone a didn't direct me. I came here today to last minute shop for loved ones and I had to make an exchange first and the line blew up. The supervisor was nice enough to let me skip the line after I come for a second time since I already waited so long. During this hectic time I really appreciated this. I didn't like how not knowing context Chris that was wearing a pink glitter jacket was rude whispering at his coworker Janet saying some smarty remark "what do you think about that" and rolling his eyes. I felt uncomfortable but thank God for a supervisor that cares and sees the little things that make a customer feel good and cared for. This review is for future customers that purchase items from Ulta online. This company uses a shipping company called OnTrac. If you have a P.O. Box that has either secured delivery to prevent porch pirates or you don't receive mail to your home most shipping companies that are reputable know that you can not deliver to these sites either on a holiday or a weekend because they are closed. OnTrac does not recognize this mail system. They will attempt delivery on holidays, weekends and at off times either very early or late after the postal service that is receiving your package is closed. This company will give three attempts at delivery (counting these odd times and days) then return your purchased items after the third attempt. The customer service supervisor that I spoke with at Ulta named Paula stated that Ulta has no way of contacting the shipping company that they contact through to assist in making sure the item is delivered at a more appropriate time. In fact, not only does Ulta not have anyway of contacting their contracted shipping company, the company itself has only AI generated customers service. There is no way of contacting a live customer service representative. There is an option of leaving a message to update delivery options but when that was done twice each time it was ignored and delivery was attempted anyways. Ulta is one of the largest beauty supplies retail chains in North America. The fact that they use this third rate shipping company is mind boggling. I was a longtime customer of Ulta... from now on I'll just use Amazon... their delivery system is very reliable and their customer service is stellar... Ulta should take note .., your business model is losing customers... bye!! read more

I was honestly nervous about the bad review but I did have a hair appointment so I decided to just keep it. Larissa was my hair stylist and she's AMAZING . Her work is utterly amazing. She is a 10/10 . I do have to come back to do more on my hair because I did use the box dye for a while [oops] learned my lesson . I made the big mistake of cheating on my hair girl and deciding to go with Ulta. I needed a root touch up on a copper color. Online root touch ups are listed at $90 and when I went in the stylist told me it would be $200+ because my roots needed to be bleached/dyed. I decided to continue with the process since I was already there. The stylist bleached my roots and an hour in mentions they "don't have my exact copper shade in stock" so the color would be slightly off and I needed a gloss cover up to match it better. I said okay since I was already there and gave the benefit of the doubt. (At this point the stylist never mentioned the gloss would be an additional cost). At the end of everything my hair was not blended properly. Waste of money, now I have to go elsewhere to fix it. shame on you Ulta. read more

Even after making a purchase, an employee followed us out the door EVEN AFTER we clearly PAID and had our Ulta bags in our hands with our receipts. I was so upset. We did absolutely nothing wrong. I wasn't even carrying a purse or anything like that. I had my phone and that was it because I usually just pay with Apple Pay. Even when they asked me if I needed help, they asked with an attitude. This store is ridiculous, I was definitely felt stereotyped and discriminated. I will never come back here.
