I booked a brow shaping service at The Dollhouse Waxing Lounge because I had an upcoming wedding and wanted neater brows. I thought I was going to be late, but thankfully the salon has a 10 minute grace period in case you're running a bit late. The staff were very helpful, and the entire salon was perfectly clean. My waxer Nicole was the absolute best. For the first time in my life, I got my brows done without a histamine reaction afterwards. Turns out I don't have sensitive skin. Nicole is simply the goat. I scheduled a last minute appointment with Claire (my usual esthetician) today. But it turns out she was unavailable and Max was there. I've gotten sugared by her before and wasn't really satisfied with my service as I realized I had a few open cuts / wounds due to the pulling of sensitive, thin skin way down there. So today my service was going well, we were having a great conversation then all of sudden a sugar pull and we both went dead silent for a few minutes. I already knew something went wrong. When we were done I knew I had some cuts down there. When I got home to pee I saw it. My lips looked like it had a big, open, popped pimple in it. And around it was pink and tender, like a cut. This made it difficult to wipe. I would post a picture but due to the area it is at, I am unable to. I told the girl I wanted a pedicure. The prices were a little too pricey for me, but since I was there I just got a basic pedicure with regular polish for $40. The girl that did my pedicure was nice. She took her time. I asked for her suggestion on a color. She was helpful. The seats for pedicures are cute. There's a cute vibe in there. There was a coffee bar.
