I can not say enough good things about Annie and the job she did. She truly made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. I got ombre brows done. Annie has done my brows before, however, it was my first time doing the skin tightening and cheek blushing. Super disappointed!!!! I am giving them a one-star review based on my results. I went in for a cheek blush I was so excited I am a sucker for makeup. I already have my eyebrows done my eyeliner and my lips. To make a long story short I won the gift certificate in an auction. I went in I booked my appointment everything was great I was so happy that I was getting my cheek blush done. I go through the procedure honestly it was a great experience there is really no pain at all. My procedure took about 2 hours. I wasn't born that I should try going for a light blush and if I wanted more I could go back and get it darker. So whatever I get the procedure I begin to heal for some strange reason I develop scabs on my cheeks. And a month later there's no cheek blush at all. So I hit up the lady that did my blush and she told me I wanted something very light I agreed with her but I said there's nothing on my cheeks. She went on to tell me that sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times that it's something she had mentioned to me which in fact she had not. They want you to reschedule for a touch up within 2 weeks but I had nothing to touch up my cheeks are completely normal like no makeup at all. I have followed Annie for a couple of years now from her location in Monterey Park, and decided to reach out to her to get a touch-up at her new location in Rancho Cucamonga. The new venue looked amazing, a modern spa like environment. My procedure was a Eyebrow combo (microblading & Shading). Her artistry technique has really improved since my first visit and my finished eyebrow looked really natural and even. She had mentioned that she had taken 7 different voluntary classes around the world to learn and be supplied with the best equipment from the best technician masters. The best part was the improved numbing cream , I had ZERO pain it was complete easy to handle. I had microblading done before by her and it was nice, but I highly recommend doing the combo (microblading & shading), made a huge difference. Now I don't have to use my Anastasia Brow Dip to fill in my eyebrows. Also don't be shy to tell her how you would want your shape, she took her time to redraw my shape twice. I met Annie in 2018 of January at her Bella Vous Spa and Nails ( her nail shop!). Call it luck or my prayers were answered. I know there are so many bad brow artists out there and some do it to earn $$ but not to do it well. From my removal appt in June 2018 thru July 2019, I am super happy with how my brows look today! The long process and patience paid off!! Good brow ink would have faded after a few, not 10, removal processes. I trusted Annie's professional knowledge and her work throughout the process and now I have the brow I could have only imagined if I haven't met her. I have oily combo skin and to get micro-blading brows was impossible. That's what other artists told me and I couldn't believe how that is not possible!!? Annie Ta made magic with her hair strokes and look at my brows-AMAZING . This was only my 1st appt. Looking forward to my f/u appt. *P.S: I'm in my 40's and at this age my eyebrows are not as full and grey is apparently taking over my hair and brows. Ever since I met Annie, I haven't cheated on her with anyone else (despite her occasional accusations that I have) because no one is as meticulous as she! Right from the start we hit it off and what blossomed was a very special client/la$h lady/Ate/life coach relationship. Annie always goes out of her way to accommodate my sporadic schedule and make sure I'm not out on the streets with hot mess la$hes. Waited a bit to write my review to include how my eyebrows have healed. It's been 12 days since Annie did the micro blade combo along with lash extensions and I LOVE the work she did! Found her here on Yelp and since she had great reviews, I felt like she was the one for me. Here are my thoughts... - Pain is minimal, if almost non-existent. I'd put it at a 1 during the procedure, a 2 the next day. Numbing cream works wonders. - While your brows are very dark at first, they heal and lighten up quickly...within 4 days for me. - Annie is a perfectionist so be patient because it is WORTH IT!! - After almost 2 weeks, my eyebrows have lightened quite a bit, but look so wonderful. Can't wait for my follow up in about 4 weeks so they look perfect! - Literally...my make-up routine is about 5 minutes now! Yes! - Being in my 50s, I was dealing with almost non-existent brows with a large space in between. Annie took care of all that and I just love my look! - Compliments galore!!! As you can see by the owner's response there is an extreme lack of accountability. I've have been completely honest in my review and even posted the receipts to back it up. I can provide the text messages for you all to see as well. Also, as you can read in my previous post I never said that I was displeased with the amount I paid. I said that the promotion stated to do a certain amount of things and I did more after being asked to do so. I will also attach a photo of the promo that was sent to my email for the special. NO WHERE ON THE EMAIL DOES IT SAY IT HAS TO BE BY TAMMY ONLY! I think it is very distasteful to lie. I showed her a picture of mega volume lashes that she said she could not do and it would not look right. I did not at any point insist that she do it anyway. My exact words were Ill trust you and if it won't look right or last then DO NOT DO IT! YOU ALSO STATED THAT YOU WOULD NOT and I was not mad about this because I wanted quality work done. I posted the proof and so now it seems as if she wants to be dishonest and say that I insisted on mega full lashes when I absolutely did not.And lets say I did request mega volume lol which I did not for my ladies who have seen actual mega volume lashes please refer to the pic below of my obvious not so MEGA VOLUME LASHES. lol if I insisted on it and that's the reason they fell off why aren't they mega in the pic lol. The pic is right after getting them done. Mega where? First, I don't even like mega volume and was trying to explain to her that I wanted the same style as the pic I showed her and she told me that they were "mega volume" and she couldn't do it. I never requested nor even knew the pic was considered mega volume and definitely did not get it. The owner brought up in the reply that I constantly requests promotions as well. Mind you I have only ever been to this place twice. Lol that's 1 and 2. Two times! The first time I came was a first time customer promo which many lash services offer and the second promo which I will attach in the photos was one SHE SENT OUT IN THE EMAIL FOR ALL CUSTOMERS TO USE. It seems as if she wants to offer promos to customer but doesn't want them to use it. How is the fact that I used a promo twice even relevant? You want to offer promotions but then complain if your customers use them. What kind of business is that? The same way she does not like to honor the lash fix policy. Notice in her response she said you were near the end of the 3 day policy. Lol who cares? It was within the policy. If you don't want to fix your mistake within the policy of 3 days because it is the third day update your policy to 2 days. I mean am I right or am I right people? She also said in her reply that if I have so many problems why did I return multiple times. Again, another lie. As I've stated I've only had this woman do my lashes twice.. once two years ago which I never came back until two years later because I did not like that when my lashes fell off she gave me such a hassle to have them fixed. I decided TWO YEARS LATER to give her another try. So there were no multiple times. Lastly, she mentioned that she gave me a special volume set that was not a part of the promo. Again the owner lies lol see the proof in the promo photo I posted. It clearly states, "ANY SERVICE" in capital letters at the top of the promo. THIS IS THE EMAIL PROMO THAT SHE SENT OUT. So how did I get any favors done?? I guess I was done a favor because she honored her own promo. Like how do you not know your own promo?? YOU either forgot your own promo or don't want people to use the offer. Which don't send it out if you or going to complain when people use it and then lie about what the promo offers when it is clearly stated on the promo any service.. it's giving classic BAIT AND SWITCH. I have never had a business owner be so dishonest but don't worry I have the proof and the receipts lol. Use this business at your own risk. Like I stated before I give HONEST reviews so the only pros is that this place is clean, looks nice and in my experience the lashes fall off in the first few days but after that they do hold well but good luck with the hassle of getting her to actually do it. As I said before the cons are just far too many. Between the unprofessionalism, the dishonesty, not wanting customers to use promos that she sends out, and the hassle of trying to have her honor her own lash fix policy and not taking accountability I will never be back. This is absolutely not a good fit. I like professionalism and there are far too many lash techs who don't give you this much trouble. When I first saw her she asked why it had been so long(2 years) since I came and this is why. The only reason I decided to give her a chance is because Jasmine at Nami Lash art in Ontario was booked. So the next two day the lashes on my right side were already coming off and I messaged her if I can go and redo that eye, she was so rude made me waste my gas to go all the way over there only put three lashes on and then quit right then and there. she seems very nice at first but she does not have good customer service skills and doesn't know how to treat the customers after she was the one that messed up in the first time.
