I have been going to Lash Effect for the majority of this year, and honestly these are the BEST lashes that I have ever had. My girl Mercedes knows exactly what I like/want, and does an amazing job. My lashes always look thick and fluffy. And they last too! I would be remiss for not saying how great the girls at the front desk are too. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the different membership plans. I have the mega platinum one (I think that's what it's called), and it's a great value that suites my needs. I started coming here after looking for a good quality lash place in Rancho and the staff is so nice, they will always make time for you and treat you so well. Me and my friend have been getting our lashes done for a while now and we decided to find a new lash place closer to us. I seen so many positive reviews and I looked through their photos and thought we would give them a chance. I called set up our appointment for Christmas Eve. We put a $40/$50 deposit each..The next day they called me to tell me they wanted to cancel our appointment due to not having staff available ..when on the phone they told me they had people working that day. One why even book an appointment if you saw you didn't have staff working? Anyways I asked for a refund because the days they offered weren't going to work for us. The women I spoke to said she will have to contact her manager to see if she can accommodate because they normally don't give refunds. However I mentioned that that would only be ok if I cancelled not them cancelling on me. Anyways she said she will contact me later that day or the next day with an answer. Not even 5 mins after we hung up she calls back saying " I just thought of an idea... you can come in at 8 and your friend at 9. Like what?! How does that make sense?! You said you didn't have staff. I told her I didn't want a rushed job and she assured me I would get a "lash master" I was already hesitant because I have Never gotten my lashes done in 1hr. It seemed too fast. But we decided to go anyways. Upon arriving the receptionist seemed nice and the atmosphere seemed very nice. I was excited however as soon as the lash specialist came and got me I felt like she didn't want to be there. The whole process from the time I sat in the chair to the time I got out of the room was 45 mins. My lashes didn't not look good. One of my eyes looked fuller than the other and a soon as I got in the car lashes started falling. I wear a lash mask before going to sleep and I followed the instructions and didn't went my face for 24hrs..however all of the lashes had fallen by the the 5th day! Absolutely the worst lash service I've ever gotten. I will not be back and I do not recommend this place. I wish I would of just gotten my refund. I really wanted to like this place it's unfortunate that such a nice place can do such a poorly job. read more

I came to this location only once. The salesperson put me with a returning technician who had been off on maternity leave and she forgot her glasses. The lashes were glued very messily together and my normal lash technician was horrified by the lack of detail she could see when I returned for touch up 2 weeks later. Would not return to this location the salesperson tried to charge me more fees due to the technicians title being some sort of 'expert' so she informed me if I was going to return to the same technician it would be extra money for her. Thank God I didn't make a premature Appointment because on initial review it looked like she had done decent job. It wasn't until a couple days later that I could see lashes stuck together and coming off clumps. read more
