Love this store. Love the concept. Absolutely love the history and growth in the last 52 years. Daiso started as a small vending booth with items for 100 Yen( 65 cents today) and has beautifully grown to 4647 locations and brick and mortar stores worldwide in 32 countries. The largest one in our US of A is almost 18,000 sq ft in Union City in the San Francisco Bay area. I did not make it to the two on 57 th St in NYC and Rego Park in Queens. Upon entry the class, the organization, the gorgeous colors and the eye catching reusable shopping bags( just $2.25) to the left bring out the smile and the desire to spend some time and enjoy every aisle. Every possible household and gardening product, great selection of sauces, ramen, soups, holiday seasonal goodies! Bin the cashier was so kind. Great energy. I have been to this Daiso in Rancho Cucamonga many times. I don't always buy something, but I do love to stroll through the aisles because I want to see what unique things they have to offer. I have found their soft plushies to be very cute and adorable to touch and cuddle. I've bought several of them in the past. On my most recent visit, Yamamoto green tea caught my eyes so I bought one box. Staff are usually friendly. Service is normally free flowing at the register. Prices are reasonable. Merchandise selection is huge. I've gotten some great things here. It is indeed a cute and fun place to shop. The only downside is that some of the items are labeled in Korean language. It's hard to know what are the instructions. What can we do. We just need to Google it. I'll still continue to support this Daiso! read more

Sadly the one close to me closed down and I don't know why. I love coming to this place because there's so much to look at and there's so many things you didn't think you needed or wanted but they have it here and you can't just find them at a regular store. It's fun to look around here. They have a lot of cute little things and a lot of useful things. I don't love the pricing system, but it is what it is. Most things are the base price of $1.75 per item. Right now, they have a lot of pretty Sakura items up front. Great for Easter basket fillers if you have a kid that likes little notes, envelopes, stickers, origami, etc. They have lots of random Disney things that are super cute, but I had no idea what I'd do with them. The beauty aisles are hit and miss, as are the 'party supplies' They have a few balloons in packages, a couple different birthday candle sets, and they have a small selection of paper cups, straws, and plates in the back of the store but if you're looking for something specific, you're not likely to find it here. They have a lot of small ceramic dishes like rice bowls, etc. What they didn't have any of were folding paper fans! What?! Daiso always has fans! Boo. They have some interesting cookware items like small silicone molds, small rolls of foil, baking papers, cupcake wrappers, etc. You could probably put together cute little prize baskets using the stuff you find here. read more

Daiso is a fun place to browse. I stopped in after getting off the 210 when traffic was crawling during a storm. The store is well lit and neatly organized. It is nice to see what tools and gadgets are available. Most items are value priced and you have to refer to a chart for the price conversion. All in all, a great place to look around even if it is to fantasize how great my home would look if I actually utilized the items found in the store. read more

LOL They have Japanese food, snacks & drinks. They have all sort of items that you want to buy from personal care to household wares, cute office supplies, decorative paper, stickers, containers and the list goes on that I don't think o could list everything! LOL Todays visit I bought some snacks and Jasmine facial masks that remind me of Hawaii. I even saw some beach mats that I wish they sold at ABC. Employees here are friendly. Store is clean. I always enjoy coming to Daiso. There's always something new to look at and purchase. I found a few princess birthday cards that is so cute. I'm pretty sure my niece will love it. This definitely feels like a Sanrio store with a little razzle dazzle, I love all the cool and adorable stuff I've bought here. There really hasn't been a line any of the times I've been here. The employees are always very nice. If you're having a Hello Kitty or Disney party, I definitely recommend visiting a Daiso Japan for stuff for the goodie bags or prizes. Would also suggest getting some of their printed paper and plastic bags, cookie cutters, cutlery, and printed sticky notes for the kiddos lunch boxes! They will love it . read more

Super cute store. My coworker had told me about it and I had to drive here straight from work. Everything is mainly $1.50. from packing your lunches organizing your home cooking utensils and even gardening you can find all in this little shop. Everything is super clean and spacious. They do require facemasks and social distancing at all times. The workers are very friendly and helpful. I don't have a picture of it but they have those little panda cookies. Love this Daiso store because it's big and peaceful. Right now there's a Disney/Daiso collab and they have cute Disney themed everything. Daiso is where I go to find cool and unusual gifts, stationary, dishes, etc. for really cheap. They carry a lot seasonal items as well that are super unique and cheap. Before going to office or home depot for simple or cute stuff you might want to check here first. Almost everything is $1.50 plus tax. Some are just worth $1.50, some are surprisingly worth more than its price! If you expect a high quality product, then it is not the place. But if you want a product that you wanna use for a few seasons and throw away without feeling guilty, then I will highly recommend this place! And please note that I saw a big cockroach there! How have I never heard of this store?! I had no idea this place existed until it popped up next to Trader Joes. Now I am aware that they are part of a large chain. This store had so much stuff I didn't know I needed to have. The average price for an item is $1.50. Some items were $3.00. Many people compare this store to a Dollar store, but the quality of the product here is far superior. This store has home goods, makeup, purses, hats , scarves, school and office supplies, pet items, food items , kitchen items , crafts, holiday items, some clothing, and so much more. There are also nice gift items. This store is so large you could easily spend an hour looking at all it has to offer. This location opened June 2016. Everything looks new and clean. Daiso is a franchise store originating from Japan. They carry a large range of goods, mainly household goods, some apparel, cosmetics, arts & crafts, and snacks. The first Daiso in the U.S. opened 2005 and more than 10 years later, there are more than 50 stores in the U.S. (over 40 of them are in California!) They just opened another one recently in Chino Hills a few years ago and Ontario this year as well. I have also been to the Arcadia, and San Dimas locations. Note that even though this is a Japanese store, many of the items are still made in China. The one in Rancho Cucamonga just had its Grand Opening on June 18th 2016. It's located north of the I-210 freeway off Haven Avenue, right next to Trader Joe's. The space has been vacant for a long time and I was happy to see a new store was coming.. not only that, but a Daiso! This particular Daiso is a bit smaller than others I have been to, but still a decent size. They have a lot of cute items here. I've found myself buying things from oven mitts, chopsticks, storage containers, bowls, and snacks. Their snack variety is not as large here though. Most items are at the $1.50 price point, but I saw items as much as $12. Even with that said, everything in the store is inexpensive. Check your item before purchasing it because you cannot return or exchange it! Everything is a final sale. The cashier here are very kind! I can see them putting in hard work and doing their best! but what baffles me is the fact that on weekends Ive seen maybe one or two associates total handling the whole store by themselves? I dont know who the hell is running this business thinking its okay to leave two people to deal with that? How are they supposed to get anything done? For $15/hr ??? that doesnt make sense to me. Fix your store. I feel like i never see a single manager out on the floor or doing anything except when called by the associates. Terrible, terrible, customer service. I'm gonna keep it somewhat short. I'm a brown/black woman, was followed isle to isle by a mid aged woman. I would attach the photos of the profiler, but out of whatever respect I have for her, (which in all respect, I should have none), I will not. I've been here a couple of times previously, usually with my white skinned, Latina mother, and never had this experience. I used to like coming here hut prices have gone way up for things that used to be like a dollar. In a year these plant pots that were a dollar went up to almost 5.
