I went back there but no one was working there. However, I noticed they were having a meeting by jewelry. I rang the buzzer for help and had to do it 3x before someone came. I purchased three items from Walmart for a total of $12.56. I usually use the Scan & Go service. At the exit, an employee named Suzan was checking receipts. She treated me in a rude and discriminatory manner. I showed her the receipt on my phone and even opened the full receipt for her to review, but despite that, she treated me with disrespect and rudeness, making me feel as though I had stolen the items. Another customer who was behind me witnessed the incident and told me that she saw how disrespectfully and rudely I was treated. So I came here, thinking I would have a good shoppibg experience, but that was short lived wheb I hopped in LEANA'S, line aka "Karen". She didn't speak to me after I finished unloading my cart and walked in front of the register. I had 2 e-giftcards on my phone I was going to use. She didnt tell me my total after she was done ringing up my order, so I looked at the screen and turned my phone around so she could scan the barcode. She looks at me and says, "Is that a gift card on your phone?" I said "Yeah!" She then says, "Was it emailed to you?....if so, I need to see the email that it was sent to you". Huh?!?! Since when? I have never had to show an email to redeem a e-gift card. I told her, "I deleted the email and have never had to show it before". She scans it, and as its processing, she starts telling me, that in the future, she will need to see the email. I cut her off mid sentence and told her....No she doesn't! Now I can understand if she scanned it and it work, then I could show an email, to maybe figure out why. But she just dived head first into trying to give me a problem, and I know she did it cause I'm black. She thought she was gonna "catch" something, thinking I was using fake cards or something. Her whole approach towards me, was obvious she was hoping for a problem/reaction....but her bubble was busted, when she didn't get one. She looked so stupid when both cards went through, WITHOUT me showing her an email she allegedly needed to see. After she was done with me, she spoke and engaged with the people behind me, who weren't Black. So yes, I wholeheartedly believe she tried to give me a problem cause I am Black, when all she had to do was scan the barcodes, without all the extra bs. read more

We came to buy painting supplies because they're considerably cheaper here, but when we got to the Self-checkout area, none of our payment methods worked. They dont accept tap because they want you to download their stupid app and do this whole login routine. This was the most disrespectful phone interaction that I've received in quite sometime. I'm asking the woman for empty vending machine capsules. She told me there's a vending machine in the front of the store with them. I politely let her know that I wanted to purchase them from the store for my use. She then hung up in my face. Went to self-checkout. There were no bags at my register or any of the registers that I saw. I asked a worked named Melanie if they had bags she said, "no we're all out." Absolutely horrible customer service. The self-checkout experience is a disaster. I had a problem with a machine after I had already paid, and when I tried to ask a simple question about getting my money back, the employee cut me off mid-sentence. Rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. There are never any regular lanes open, so customers are forced to stand in long self-checkout lines while employees act like helping is an inconvenience. Management clearly allows this behavior because it's consistently bad. If you're looking for basic courtesy or competence, don't expect to find it here. read more

She said they do not have the ability bc she did not want to price match an item "sold and shipped by Walmart" with a matching UPC and in store location shown. My work is supporting a 2023 Ronald McDonald Toy Drive. I love to give during the holidays. I thought to myself... how fun it would be for my daughters to pick out the toys!!! We were on a mission... We got to this Walmart in Rancho Cucamonga. Smaller in size compared to other Walmarts that I've visited. Aisles were narrow and tight. It's a much older Walmart indeed. I was surprised the cart even fits through the aisles LOL. Anyway, I gave my girls these instructions... they each can pick out 10 toys for girls and/or boys between the ages of 0-20... each toy should be $10 or less. We walked through 5-6 aisles of toys. We spent a good hour here picking out toys, games, and stuff animals. It was very fun and a wonderful way to spend quality time with my daughters. I may continue this newly found tradition here on out in the years to come. We found our 20 fun and exciting toys, games, and plushies. A few were over $10 which was fine since other toys were less than $10 so they all balanced out. The lady at the register was pleasant. She even asked who these toys are for and I told her they are for a toy drive. We hope these toys will bring much joy and cheer to the children this holiday season. This Walmart has been here forever or at least since the 90's and it's the one anchor store that still remains. It used to be open 24 hours and back in the day it was the thing to do late at night, but now it's run-down and scary looking. When someone says, "Try looking for it at Walmart." I instantly think, "Ooohhh chile, the GHETTO!" Anyway, this ghetto store actually has stuff in stock or will get it in stock if I order it through the app. One item I had a hard time finding at the drug store, Target, etc. was this Revlon winged liquid eye liner. Literally no store had it and I just happened to check the Walmart app. and rolled my eyes because it was in stock here and some lashes i was looking for as well. Another item I was looking for recently, this card game called Stir the Pot. We played it at a Christmas party and I wanted to buy it for a family party (real smart). I went to 3 different Targets, none of them had it and when I asked my friend where he got it he said Walmart. I came to this store and found it, but I also found that they sold some really random record albums like the Bjork 1977 album? They still carry DVD's and have that huge DVD bin at the back. Also, it looks even more disheveled than I remember it, but they have the goods! Definitely recommend ordering via the app and just picking up your items instead of going into the store, but it's kind of fun to see what they sell once you're inside. read more

Store is clean and check out has average wait times. My complaint is regarding the situation with the ongoing Egg Crisis. Walmart is the largest food retail supplier in the US. I see the Zero goodwill or effort by WM to try and do better. There are many ppl who derive their main source of protein and that means for their CHILDREN, TOO! From eggs. They may not have a 6 burner gas range like me. They may only have one source to prepare nutritious eggs and WM is taking this away from many - because these are the stores that are convenient for people that need it the most. Sam Walton would be pretty upset. He would have wanted his company to do better than this. When you can go to their own Sam's Club and buy 18 eggs for under $7 but a dozen of the average ones here are $9 - this is pretty awful. Trader Joes sells extra large for $4.49 /12 (3/3/25). Vons has Gerry's Upscale 12/$7.50. We have long known that the board and shareholders of WM have no conscience. There is a new type of shopper: Shopping for the people. I would improve everything here good lord. The coworkers ignore you. We had to wait for a pump by camping. Pressed the button that did t work found another nearby to press and no one came. Waited 10 mins all while 10 employees walked by a few with keys too and not once asked if we needed help. We asked a few if they could help us and they said "I'll get someone with a key" this is all right by the processing area where they unload the truck so employees were walking by the entire time. I got tired of waiting and walked in the back, no one even noticed me and tapped someone and said we need help and been waiting 10 mins at this point and keep getting ignored. This guy was nice and said so sorry no one came to tell him someone was waiting on a key. The bathrooms are GROSS. One was broken, one was clogged and the whole bathroom was just trashed. The changing table was broken too. The cashiers are slow, the one we had was nice. The people stalking the shelves give you dirty looks as you are trying to walk by and grab the items you need. We almost left and went to another store. Worst Walmart experience ever and we travel cross county, so that's saying a lot. read more
