    11/2/24 On the lookout for arthritis gloves for Hubby It had been so cold & Hubby's hands have been in pain, stiff. Goal of today, find arthritis gloves (with open fingers. There are only 3 major RX places, one of which is CVS. Aisles are clear, uncluttered. Easy to navigate around, the aisles are labeled accordingly. Luck was not on our side here, out of stock. Hubby asked the pharmacy dept. as well, no dice Parking lot is shared but plenty to park your bucket of bolts. Onto the next Rx

    Came in at 9:50 doors shut i get its 10 mins but i knew what i needed and was sick. Haye when businesses do that. Close at 10 not 9:50

    This CVS Pharmacy experience was bad, really bad…read more After being rear ended in a car accident, I was rocked. I was in pain and my neck was crazy stiff and shoulder was hurting. I could not lay down comfortably nor sleep. So when the awesome Dr Cho at Haven Urgent Care took such good care of me and prescribed 2 medications via this adjacent CVS, I showed up after the 45 minutes to a horror show. The other reviews about the totally mean spirited and just stupid Pharmacy Manager Hien Nguyen are spot on and dead on balls accurate( " My Cousin Vinny"). I was next in line and had been waiting 11 minutes when Ms Nguyen smiled and vigorously waved to the lady behind me and said " Come on up". I figured maybe a quick hello but she went on to tell her friend about her pregnancy and just about everything under the sun - 27 minutes. Ms Nguyen would look over at me every 3-4 minutes but .. nothing! Not a word not be right with you.. not sorry I did this...! Finally another lady came up to help and things went further south. I showed her my id with my birth date and also offered my SS number so she could quickly look up my DOD benefits card. She just declined and said " No, can't do this." Go sit on that chair( no please) and we will call you. Please note this was maybe 47 minutes waiting in line and I was in excruciating pain... Finally after another 12 minutes, I just got up and left. I did take a photo of these two ladies. I did tell the Store Manager who seemed to have dealt with these complaints prior...I called CVS customer care the next day. They took the details and apologized. I just did a 5 star review for a CVS in New Hyde Park, Long Island NY. This was at the other end of the spectrum. My advice - find a different pharmacy other than the CVS on Haven just north of Foothill Blvd.

The cashier that rung up my items was friendly and was asking about the clearance liquor I was getting. I told him I didn't know if it was good, but it has 11% ABV, so so let's see what it do! Lol! Once we went to check out, the Target worker held our face serum bottle in his hand and placed it in a random item behind the register. We stood in the self check out, waiting for him to give it to us so we can cash out and leave. He proceeds to talk to his coworker about an NBA game happening tonight, while we were staring at him. When we asked him where's our face serum? A female worker walks by and says "I'm looking for it" in a very rude way. I'm confused because the guy talking about the NBA game literally has it. He also said "yeah, she's looking for it" but we kept saying "you have it in your hand. That's what she's looking for." Then he says "oh... here". My fiancé had to tell him to tell the female worker to stop looking because he had it. Then he says, "oh yeah... hey..." Ridiculous. Our items ended up beeping at the front entrance because the security tag was still on the skirt I bought. We went back to ask the Target employees to take it off, but they asked me "what can we help you with?" Did the not see us alert the front entrance? She checked my receipt, then took off the tag. When I told her to keep the clothes hanger, she made me put it back instead of taking it for me. It's all the tiny things adding up, that had made this a frustrating target trip. These workers don't seem to care about customer service at all. They are distracted, rude, and carefree. If I don't need to come here, the I won't be visiting.

    Was CVS in Upland robbed last night? Honestly - it is the only thing I can think of to explain the…read moresituation and unhinged "team members" I encountered last night and was harassed and threatened by. After being released from the San Antonio Regional Hospital ER after four hours and in a tremendous amount of pain, I was informed that my prescriptions were sent to the CVS at 100 W Foothill Blvd, located a block or two from the hospital. I was relieved to start my healing process and go home after a long day. I arrive at the CVS around 8:45pm and I walk up to the entrance and notice the automatic doors do not open. I look in and see the doors are locked, lights are on and then happen to notice a scribbled, unprofessional sign with no explanation, which read (pic attached): WE ARE CLOSE FOR TILL 9:45 MAYBE. Confused by this and also trying to ascertain more information as I was not there to shop in the store but pick up a prescription and happy to pay cash, if necessary, I politely knocked on the glass and was met with: "CAN'T YOU READ THE SIGN," in a threatening/yelling manner from an employee in a red CVS shirt with long gray hair. Immediately taken aback, I said "yes, I am just here to pick up a prescription not to shop. I am in a lot of pain, just out of the ER." (literally wearing my Hospital ID Bracelet, with a bandaged foot and my left arm wrapped where they drew blood). Hoping for some empathy and to talk with pharmacist for a solution - (could they move my prescription to another pharmacy? Somehow get them from the pharmacist with cash?) instead, another younger more disheveled employee came over and said, "CAN'T YOU READ THE FUCKING SIGN?" Our network is down; we cannot help you. We are trying to get it back up, but we do not know. Go somewhere else." I am stunned at this point - and said "I CAN'T GO SOMEWHERE else because the prescription was sent here. So, I knocked on the glass again to be yelled at "We can't help your - our systems are down." I said, "I understand, sorry to hear that, but I need to figure out a solution for my prescription." At this point, more profanity was thrown at me. I then went back to my car and began to research other 24-hour pharmacies in the area - and unfortunately, since covid - most of those are no longer open 24/7. So, I called San Antonio Regional Hospital ER and spoke with a nurse there, told her the story - SHE WAS STUNNED BY THIS - and I recommended that she not send prescriptions to this facility tonight and maybe consider permanently avoiding this unprofessional/poorly run establishment. She then had them sent to my regular pharmacy to pick up in the morning at 10am. It sucks, I lost about 12 hours of starting the healing process, barely slept last night without the pain meds but back home in Rancho Cucamonga, I will go to my regular CVS. I plan to relay them this disgusting story as well. How corporate responds to this is going to be telling. I understand - things happen. Technology is going out but there should be a plan. There should be a manager on site talking to customers. There should be more than a poorly written sign with no information on it. There should be phone calls or a message to the local hospitals to not prescribe medicine there if they are having tech issues and unable to meet this need. There should be proper training in customer service in the event of an outage like this. Which made me think - maybe these WERE NOT EMPLOYEES? Because there is no way a CVS employee would treat their customers with such disdain and anger. Was the place Robbed on Friday night? That is the only reasonable explanation I can think of for my treatment last night. I am going to be contacting corporate and the BBB etc., I hope these "employees" get proper training...or become ex-employees. But UPLAND CVS, you have lost a customer for life. And how corporate CVS responds to this - will determine whether I ever step foot in another CVS again. And to the two front-line staff working last night - all I can say is shame on you.

    After giving this location far too many chances, I'm finally switching pharmacies. The customer…read moreservice here is consistently rude and unhelpful. Long wait times are the norm--even when I've been notified that my prescription is "ready," I often arrive only to find it's not. There have been multiple occasions where I received fewer pills than prescribed, and when I called to ask about it, the pharmacist actually hung up on me. Even more frustrating, they've repeatedly failed to correctly bill my insurance--using the wrong code month after month. As a result, I have to call ahead every time just to ensure my prescription is ordered and covered, only to be told my insurance won't pay (when it actually does, if properly billed). I was prescribed a medication in May and didn't receive it until June due to this same ongoing issue. It's completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of accountability. The drive-thru has now been closed for over five months with no communication or solution offered. Inside, the lines are long and slow-moving, and the staff often seem overwhelmed and disorganized. If you choose to fill your prescriptions at this location, be prepared to make repeated phone calls, double-check everything, and still risk not getting what you need on time. This place has gone from inconvenient to completely unreliable.

All of the sudden I hear the pharmacist in the back yell. "He's to busy on his phone , so he can wait " Really you can yell that from the back of the pharmacy, but when you were 5 ft away from me you couldn't say "excuse me me sir, are you ready". So your first instinct is to try to embarrass me in front of the whole pharmacy. It is rude to be on your phone when at the register but when you're in line patiently waiting, I believe it's fair to be on your phone. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Most of the pharmacists here a great and she should learn from them. I only write this in hopes she doesn't make this a trend. Kill them with kindness
