In the environment of unaffordability right now I am price conscious, so I saw a big price tag for a 2 liter Bottle of Mountain Dew. I was tired coming off work and looked at the price $1.99, and the word "sale". I immediately thought good deal and tried to buy it. See the store label and tell me what you guys think. I think it's very misleading. Oh, you must buy 3 more to get it for $1.99 each! Not for one, which is still way more than Walmart. Otherwise it's $3.49 for ONE! I told the cashier I thought the label was misleading, and can I just get it for $1.99, people behind me are waiting. He couldn't make a decision, so he calls the store manager Daniel. Daniel on the phone to him said "No" even before meeting me to discuss it. I later saw him coming after I paid $3 49. He said he had the discretion , but said "They don't want me to say yes" I said I'm am pissed about this and I don't think I want to shop here anymore. He said, "That's your choice." I said, wow, you lose a customer for life over $1.50!! Yes that's the way they are trained. Rediculous. They are trained "employees", not "owners". Owner mentality cares about "Retaining customers in a competitive environment. You hear all this Corporate office? Is it worth losing customers over misleading price labels? And you're having this attitude in a very competitive environment? Interesting. I'll never shop there again because Walmart or any other store would just have to overridden it to keep the customer after he told you he wouldn't shop there anymore.

With so many choices why is this grocery store my #1? QUALITY- They are a Farmers Market for a reason. The produce is ON POINT ALWAYS. SELECTION- If you want to eat healthy there is no other store with all kinds of specialty products and the amount of non food products is amazing. I love that I can find Lions Mane Fresh Mushrooms, Wild Caught Sockeye Salmon, and Tom's Toothpaste, and all my Vegan favs under one roof. QUAINT- It's the perfect sized market. Not overwhelming. Organized perfectly. Extremely easy to navigate. You don't have to search for anything. Everything is grouped to create a sense of ease. ACCOMMODATING- I can always find someone in reach if I have a question or need help. And everyone is always super FRIENDLY! I want to give a HUGE shout out to the store manager, Jesus. Why can't every store have a Jesus?!!!! This man goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make his customers happy. I haven't seen this kind of DEDICATION in like...forever. This is why the Upland Sprouts is amazing. Because of his leadership. And he is why I will continue to shop here...along with all of the above! If you haven't tried them please go on in and I promise you will not be disappointed!

First off, I know traversing a new store to me can be an adventure-so I look forward to it. I must admit, though that my first impression is that the sense of organization to the way that things are placed around the store is a bit unorganized. It makes sense to me that all dairy product should be at least within adjacent places to each other in a store. It took me a while, looking for cream cheese. I've had to ask a staff at least three times looking for items. One staff, Colleen, stopped and asked if I needed help because we must've passed each other at least 2-3 times as I was going up & down the aisles looking for items. She said "you've taken pictures "all over MY store..." I informed her that it's my first time at this store & I'm also "Yelping". She then proceeded to explain that it's been newly renovated & gave me a handout to help me navigate the store. Although she may have intended to help me, I couldn't help but think that I may made her nervous when I was taking photos. No harm, no foul, but it made me feel less welcome rather than feeling accommodated. It takes time for me to get acclimated to a new store & first impressions are important. Needless to say, her interaction with me was not altogether comforting. With all things considered, items, aisles not being very cohesive in their placement but still organized & labeled accordingly, store is clean....it's still a great market. If I could give it 3.5, I would, because I place prime importance on customer service. I was excited to explore this market until the manager made me feel intrusive at "her store". Perhaps it was not her intention but I really felt like I was not welcome in her store. It took me a while to complete this review to allow a bit of time to pass but my gut still feels the same to this day.
