Found this Ralphs from driving around. I like trying new grocery stores, so I decided to stop here and do some shopping. No greetings from employees, because they were too busy talking amongst themselves. When one employee finally broke away from his conversation, he decided to grab a broom and start sweeping down the aisles and not say "Excuse me!".But why should he, I'M in HIS way.....Right?!?!, because he's the privileged sweeper. He just kept coming down the aisle with the broom, just knowing I would move. I found a couple items on the Reduced shelves, so that was cool. read more

7/24/24 ....yet another ice cream run Hubby went on a search and it would appear to be the closest one to us- in Ranch Cucamonga, about 17 miles from home. Feeling restless one hot evening, I said, I feel like Häagen Dazs coffee ice cream! Not much lip from Hubby so off we went. Granted, we could've just as easily gone to Stater Bros down the street but he says they're not that friendly over there. I was up for a drive. We were on a mission. Fortunately for us, like most Ralph's, this one is laid out fairly well so weaving through the store, it ked us straight to the ice cream aisle. Can't beat what was on sale-exactly what I wanted, coffee ice cream (Häagen Dazs, of course) at $5.99 BOGO, 14 oz while the 28 oz was a little over $10. SCORE! What can I really say about this supermarket chain. Oh yeah! Fun fact alert is in effect! It's the largest subsidiary of Cincinnati based Kroger and the oldest such chain west of the Mississippi River so there you go. Real boring huh. Anyways, back to the reason I'm writing this. They got my Lucky Jack stacked from the front to the back to the window to the wall! I'm all good with that. Thats the main reason I'm always coming back. I have shopped here a few different times since my daughter works in this same shopping center. The store is clean every time I have walked through. The people working here are friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I have picked up many different items including flowers, cards, different drinks for get togethers, birthday cakes, fruit or veggie trays, and several other drinks, snacks, and sandwiches for my daughter's lunches. It's a big store with a big number of selections! Highly recommend you do your grocery shopping here, especially if you live close by! I know I will be back in here again soon! read more

Unfortunately, East of the 605 and West of Haven Blvd, there is a veritable Ralph's desert. It's like Kroger conceded that zone to Stater Brother's and Superior. Totally sucks bc I love my fuel rewards and Shell gas. So I drive all the way here to get my fixes. I must pass 2 or 3 other Ralph's along the way - around Haven and Milliken, oh yeah and the one way down under in Ontario on Archibald. They get honorable mention, but this one up off the 210 at Day Creek is spceial. The butchers are awesome, and since Ralph's has great meat and great specials, this is the place to get what you need for the dinner table. The produce selection is also great, not to mention the organic section is bigger than most (second only to the organic section at the San Dimas Albertson's). The deli always has hot fried chicken, and chicken tenders. Don't sleep on the Ralph's fried chicken... It's bomb. The checkers and staff are friendly and always help me find the Tapatío. If I'm not shopping at Costco or my other favs (gotta read my reviews lol), I am here. I have to say I was a skeptic of ordering online and picking up but it's super convenient and honestly saving me money compared to the delivery options. The store is nice and clean. The reason for the review is more to let people know about an issue I had with an Amazon gift card that I purchased there. The gift card looked fine, but when it was taken out of the cardboard cover/ package, part of the claim code was scratched out. I called Amazon for help and they said that the gift card had already been used. Luckily Amazon reimbursed us for the amount of the card since I was able to send them a copy of my receipt and the actual gift card. Just be careful when buying a gift card from there. I don't want anyone else to get a used gift card. read more

I was visiting a family member in the area and I had to make a stop at a supermarket that supermarket was Ralphs. I went in and was instantly impressed. The store was beautifully maintained. The options and the amount of options was insane. Everyone was working. They stopped to look at you and smile. I was offered help on numerous occasions. The store was immaculate. Like I said I'm visiting from out of town and came to see a family member and was thoroughly impressed. I will definitely give the store an A+ and wish I had one like this in my neighborhood up in Montana. read more

They recently remodeled the store but failed to address the worst problem at the store which is their shopping carts are in horrible condition. Most are rusted, bent and dirty. This is my favorite Ralph's in the area. Has cheaper prices than Stater Bros. The inside is always well kept and the customer service is always great. I have never needed to go to another store because they were out of things other than toilet tissue during the pandemic lol. They have an app than you can see weekly sales as well. Things are easy to find and if you're having trouble there's always people available that know where it is. Pros: lines are never long here and they always have self checkout available Cons: I think they can do better with fruit. But that can be a Ralph's thing rather than the store location read more

Just recently started shopping here. I am impressed with how well-stocked the shelves are, especially considering how regularly they are restocked. Also, love the variety of products available to purchase at this store. So far, the Manager(s) and Staff have been beyond professional and friendly. The Hispanic girl that worked today at the boars head deli October 18 that made the turkey sandwiches is so awesome Friendly and helpful. She is an amazing chef. I normally go to this Ralph's because it's less busy. But it's probably empty because they're so racist. We were checking out in the self-checkout and the young blond employee just kept staring at us (yes we were the only minorities there). Then she comes over and asks if we had scanned our water. She obviously saw we did since she didn't take her eyes off of us. We told her yes and she didn't believe us and proceeds to check the screen. Dear Ralph's if you don't trust us to scan our own stuff then remove self checkout. Yes this lady targeted us out of everyone else checking out. I will not be returning to this Ralph's, I will take my money elsewhere where I am valued as a customer. The store manager NANCY is absolutely rude. If that is even her name. Refused to sell me 16 pieces of chicken, even though there was well over 30 pieces upfront. She said I would have to wait 20 minutes if I wanted 16. However, I don't have to wait for eight pieces which I said OK . I said I would just take 8 then and she told her worker not to give me any and rolled her eyes and walked away after??? Not only that she showed up in the beginning with an aggressive tone . I have literally shopped at Ralph's for almost 20 years and I think I'm going to take my business elsewhere... this store has totally gone downhill since Covid..... I still dont think they've totally recovered. They are constantly out of products that should always be available. Low stock... couldn't reach items on the top shelf of the dairy because they hadn't been pushed forward.... Don't feel like anyone is keeping things neat and stocked. Usually only have one actual check stand open .... I don't mind scanning my own stuff if I have less than 10 or so items.... But having half a cart and only one check stand open drives me nuts. And finally my biggest peeve with the store is the number of items in the aisle....there are so few aisles that are not blocked with merchandise .... It's nearly impossible to navigate. The fanciest Ralph's in Rancho and that's saying a lot because the other Ralph's stores in the city are pretty nice. Came here because it was close to Sprouts and I needed a few things here. This Ralphs had a huge dishware section and a Mochi bar which stood out in my mind. The Mochi bar wasn't that great (Whole Foods Mochi Bar is the best) but it was something I hadn't seen at other stores. I really enjoyed shopping here as there was enough people social distancing and the checkout line wasn't packed at all on a Saturday. read more

My husband and I have found some great deals on non-produce items at this Ralphs location. Most recently, I discovered a Darth Vader inflatable Christmas lawn decoration for half off! We paid $19.99 for the perfect white elephant gift! The original price was $39.99. On a previous occasion, I found packages of 4 big Hershey kisses with hazelnuts for $0.50! I also found a set of bamboo cooking utensils for only $3.00. One of my favorite sale items is the Endangered Species brand dark chocolate with cranberries & walnuts--2 for $4.00. One time, I bought a waffle iron because I couldn't pass up such a good deal--$19.99. I have spotted many more great sale prices, but I had to refrain from buying more things that were definitely "wants" and not "needs". Always poor service here especially since this is the most racist grocery store I've been to. One night I came in last week and after buying a few items we had the cashier who was probably in her 50s or 60s look at us with discust and daid out loud that she will have to wash her hands before she continues her job. I couldn't believe she said that in front of the other customers. And yes, I'm of Asian descent. But nothing new here, this location has the most racist employees I've ever had to deal with. I was just here a couple hours ago and saw more racism from the cashier. An elderly Asian woman tried to get 3 milks And she had 1 taken away due to the stores limit. Next in line after her was a white lady and she had 4 but the cashier let's her get all 4. Does that sound right? Didn't think so. I will make sure the community knows about this poor customer service here and your racist service. Rancho Cucamonga is a very racist city against the asian community. Come here exclusively for pickup groceries. My wife orders via internet and I just park @ designated spot and call the listed phone number on the parking sign to inform Ralph's staff that I've arrived and my parking spot #. They usually come out within 3 to 5 min. and always very helpful and friendly. Items out of stock but if they are able to substitute it, usually they will sub it and still charge whichever that's lower cost to customer. I later learned that the receipt looking print out is not final and so you can still hand them any coupons or vouchers if you have any. They can go back into store and finalize charges and use all coupons once they finished delivering all groceries to your car. All you need to do is wait another few min. and they will come out with final receipt for all items purchased. It saves us time and avoid us buying junk food we shouldn't be buying... (*____*) I see this as not only for us but very helpful for elderly or people needs help with shopping. You can stay in the car the whole time and the staff can put everything in the trunk for you. I asked at least 2 times if they accept cash tips... answer is no, they do not accept tips. read more

This looks to be the biggest and nicest Ralph's in the area. Surprisingly, I wasn't able to find everything I needed (Ralph's, you need to get you some Gerolsteiner!), but I found most things. Huge shout out to the bakery at this Ralph's location. The ladies that work there are beyond friendly, and we're so helpful with making sure my daughter's third birthday cupcakes were perfect. This Ralph's on Highland and Daycreek in Rancho has become my go to market, even though Albertsons is closer to me, because of the far superior customer service here. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The staff always acknowledge me in the checkout, in an isle or even in the parking lot! I have never had bad service here. I started coming here during the pandemic for the free parking lot pickup and was so happy and impressed with the service and the friendliness of the people that I kept coming back ever since.
