I like this Ralph's, it's the nicest in the area and has ample parking and doesn't have a Starbucks inside. NOT having a Starbucks is actually a good thing, it means more labor dollars can be allocated to proper staffing numbers, which is a big deal in the food service industry. There is plenty fresh produce in the right side of the store, and plenty baked goods on the left, with seafood, deli and dairy permeating the walls, grocery and mercantile in the middle, bulk tucked away behind produce and the pharmacy right next to it. Staff was friendly when I went, and helpful regarding my request for further information on the nearest Ralph's Signature store. Will return. Only thing I wish is that Ralph's and by extension, Kroger, would accept Android/Apple Pay. read more

I have been to the Ralph's on Highland and DayCreek many times, but this was the first time I used pick up and it was an awesome experience! Not only did I get everything I needed, but the young man Kyle was quick, friendly and very pleasant. All of the stalls in pick up were full and he clearly was busy, but he managed to not only deliver everything I needed in a timely manner, but he did it with a pleasant and friendly attitude! I will definitely use this service more often! read more

I have been using this store for 5yrs... No major issues or racial discrimination until tonight. I was in self-check area. And, this machine kept stopping me from scanning and said "help is coming" in the screen. The lady who supposed help customers in self-check area was not even bothered by blinking sign, and continued to talk in Sapnish to ppl in the hall. Totally, ignoring, I only could see her back. And the other cashier who was just watching us made me frustrated after 2nd episodes of "help is coming". I started putting items back to cart. Then, the observant cashier finally came to me and said "I am helping you!" Almost, yelled at me... OMG...Very unpleasant experience, I almost felt public humiliation in front of my kids. Adding a couple Stars. Not necessarily for this Ralph's, but for every Ralph's. Some items are getting less expensive in line with Costco, hard to believe but true. The Private Selection items are expanding throughout the store which are top quality. The organic items are more plentiful throughout the store. The Ralph's coupon app along with hard coupons provide decent savings. Store personnel have been more friendly and accommodating, no more stink eye when you ask a question. I really think that Kroger is getting better, much better. It's becoming a nice place to shop although the Butcher meat shop needs vast improvement. In store mark downs are another great savings. I've been waiting to write this review for a while now but wow I am so glad I didn't get this job. The manager was EXTREMELY racist . I am not 100% sure but her name was Lisa Marseilles. I've seen it from the start. She told my cousins she wasn't welcomed (we are both Mexican) when my cousin would just walk me to the store, she was NOT loitering nor causing any disruption. They should be more concerned with the random homeless people that wait around in the front rather than my cousin. Nonetheless my FAMILY member was just walking me to the front of the doors to make sure I got in safe to work. Overall Lisa was rude and you could tell she overworks her employees, she needs to be FIRED because the amount of customers and employees that complain should have HER embarrassed to the point where she should quit. It was raining really bad today but I needed to got to Ralph's. I first headed to the meat department to get me some cooked fish for dinner. Ryan help me make my selection and I had some fish fried. Ryan is very helpful and I enjoy learning about various types of meat. I also needed several things to go along with my dinner. So went to the deli. Jill showed me various salad and other veggies to make a complete meal. We also got hot freshly cooked potatoes wedges. Weather was bad but my shopping was a success. read more

OK store, but had a negative experience last Friday night. I'm 90% sure someone hit my car while I was in the store, doing $2k worth of damage. The store says I need to file a police report and the police need to look at the cameras. I don't think the police will give me the time of day for this. Where I work, we look at our security footage all the time to prove or disprove guest claims. As long as I can give them a narrow time range and where to look, the store should be able to look at their own cameras and tell me if they have footage or not. read more

I've been shopping here for about a year and a half and I've seen the usual stuff on sale as it relates to fruits, snacks & meats. The workers are friendly to me and my family. They carry organic fruits & veggies if you are into that and now they offer nuts and granola too (sold per pound). Make sure to check out the discount items towards the restroom and in between the meats & milk. They also carry fancy kitchenware towards the front of the store. There is a self check out if you don't care to see a real cashier or enjoy doing things yourself. I do wish the prices were lower but oh well supply & demand. Oh, there is a red box inside the store if you need to pick up a movie for the kids, family or yourself. Parking is never a problem & bathrooms are available if you need them. read more

Ahh, at Ralphs again. We are so obsessed with Ralphs that every so often we drive "down the hill" about 20 minutes to get to the closest one. This one is nice, large and has a ton of managers specials just like most others. Plenty parking, great staff as always. Not my favorite location, but nothing bad to report here. Just went in to grab some items just now and was leaving the store when one of my 12 pack sodas rolled out from the bottom of my shopping cart. One of the cans busted open and soda bursted all over the entrance. A young female employee who was busy cleaning carts asked if I would like to exchange for a brand new 12 pack. I told her thank you and don't worry about it. I went to my car to load my groceries and the same employee came to me and asked again if I was sure. She ended up helping me exchange my 12 pack for a new one while I waited outside. Just wanted to say thank you again and I appreciate the kind gesture. Thanks ralphs. read more

Customers here don't wear masks. I noticed a couple (wearing USA flag Tshirts no less) were not wearing masks so I asked my kid to not stand by them and we left the produce area, the couple thought it would be funny to follow us around the store. Conveniently located right off the 210 freeway and Day Creek Blvd, this Ralphs is the best in the area, thanks to its spacious layout and large selection of food and non-food items. Customer service has been terrific over the years and new staff members are trained well. I've never had a problem buying groceries here and the few exchanges I've had to do were handled quickly and without a hitch. There's a deli, pharmacy, butcher, florist, and other standard amenities you'll find at most supermarkets. The produce section always has fresh fruits and veggies (although I buy garlic and bok choy for a lot cheaper at Seafood City or 99 Ranch Market) and there's a household goods section where you can buy kitchenware for those times when you need a last-minute measuring cup or crock pot. read more

I am writing this review for the amazingly kind and sweet girl who works here. She is one of the best employees I have ever seen at a grocery store before. Every time I come in, she's greeting all customers and asking how they are. She loves her job and is so pleasant. She always strikes up a conversation with me. I unfortunately have not caught her name, but I know she does bagging and cleaning. I do love Ralph's, but I do not like all the self check out stands they have put in. There's usually only one line with a cashier open now, and it does take a longer time to check out. read more

I am writing to provide a complaint about Ralph's 12201 Highland Ave Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739 at (909) 646-9356 On July 3rd this week I tried using their online store where you make purchases on their app and set up a pick up date and time so you don't have to shop yourself to save time. I brought my groceries home and the fresh meats were all in one bag with no individual clear plastic bags on them to prevent leaks of the meat juices. The hamburger meat had not only leaked in that bag but also into another bag with all the bread products in it. I was really upset by how careless they were in bagging these items. It can lead to a very bad infection. So I called to complain immediately and they apologized and offered to give me new items. We were not available to go back right away because we had plans for the next 3 days with the holiday so I set up the pick up tonight July 6. I made sure before I called that they would put the meats in either separate bags or in the clear plastic bags individually to make things safe. Well I get home tonight and I look at one of the meats and it's dated (see photos ) 6/21/17. I couldn't believe it!! It's 2 weeks past the due date. I called the click list line back immediately but they were gone for the night so I attempted to call a manager about what happened and the person on the phone(didn't catch her name) didn't seem too concerned that bad meat was being sold. I asked for my money back but she couldn't access the click list system because only that dept could or the head manager. So I'm gonna have to call in the morning but she didn't sound like they were gonna go check the other meat. If there are other out dated meats in that dept, it could be a major heath hazard. If the juices leaked from those bad meats it could also be a source of major infection. I have 2 kids and that kind of food poisoning can be deadly I don't suggest using clicklist and make sure of all the dates on their foods are not old. Lord knows what else could be old there. read more

Racists (yes, I'm black). So me and my sister go in looking for some matcha green tea and as we are walking past each aisle, I see a black mother with her 2 children looking at the pots and pans.... now I've worked in retail and at the pavilion in Huntington lol so I know when an employee is sent after someone they think is stealing and just as I thought this man isn't even looking at anything, just picking things up, moving them and keeping an eye. So me and my sister stay around that aisle bc we know what's coming. He walks past her as she's about to leave the aisle with NOTHING and the man stops in front of her and is like "ma'am u have to come with me" and she's so confused I felt so bad bc she obviously lives around this area so it made no sense to me. To make a long story short, she didn't steal anything but still questioned her and made her and her children sit outside on the curb. This place is very rotten and the employees are just plain rude. I hope they shut this place down honestly bc Albertson's is better anyway read more

The workers here are great. EXCEPT THE PHARMACY. The nurses working at the pharmacy are the most rude and unprofessional I've ever seen. I gave them a chance and they consistently fail. If there's ever any problem with your prescription, THEY WONT TELL YOU. I'll come to pick up my life saving medication at the end of the month and several times they'll tell me that they don't have it, and have to call other local pharmacies for me to pick up... I transferred my prescriptions to CVS down the street and I'm now more than happy and have never had a problem with them... read more

This review is for clicklist/pick up. I started using this service when I was pregnant. The thought of waddling through the grocery store with two other kids made me cringe so when I decided to try this service out it was a lifesaver! I've since had the baby and continue to use the service for obvious reasons! I love being able to stand in front of my fridge and load my online cart with things we need and avoid unnecessary purchases that we don't. All of the employees that I have encountered while using this service have been very nice, polite, and helpful. But there is one in particular that goes above and beyond. Chis is amazing!!! There have been problems with my orders in the past that he went above and beyond to fix. There was a time when the problem was my fault ( I thought I clicked submit and I hadn't so my time slot wasn't available anymore.) He helped me big time, and I drove away with my groceries loaded in my car at the original time I wanted all because he worked hard to help me out. He didn't have to do this and I would have been completely ok if he told me it wasn't possible, but he didn't do that and I am forever grateful. I know people say its their job to be nice and helpful, but I really do feel like he goes that extra mile to exceed expectations, and he isn't doing it other than for the mere fact that he is an exceptional person with a stellar work ethic. read more

Had a wonderful experience at Ralphs today. I was there around 10:30 a.m. Starting with one of the employees picking up trash that was left by someone else (banana peel) in the parking lot, the deli employee that is always pleasant and got my order of deli meat and macaroni salad exactly right, and the employee at the self-check that scanned my order for me and packed it up. They all wore name tags but I didn't remember the names. The store looks great - there have been a lot of improvements in the interior of the store, shelves are stocked and new items are being added. I like the way the dairy and produce sections have been redesigned. Makes for very pleasant shopping experience. read more

I was in the area and stopped at this Ralph's location for the first time. I was very highly disappointed. There was a man with his son and two other young adults shopping and the man did not have a face mask on. Even as I was walking into the store I heard a person make a comment to someone else that there was someone shopping with no mask and how it bothered them. Current mandate in CA requires masks be worn in public places. I was in that store for 30 mins and the entire time I was there, not one single store employee spoke to the man from what I could tell as I ran into him at least 3xs. It was apparent how arrogant he was by his demeanor. Needless to say, I will not shop here again. read more

Based on one visit passing thru on me way to Phoenix. Check this shit out: I stopped in for some road goodies-chips, gallon jugs of water, berries, ready to eat cut veggies. They had all of the above including 2 for $4 packs of blackberries...smiley time. Here's the kicker; i get to the checkout and the cashier asks me if I have a club card. I says no. He says "would you like to apply for one", I says "no." The bagging assistant hears this and asks if i'm from out of town. I say yes. She walks over to her manager, explains the situation, and before you know it, I'm getting $4 and change back because they made an exception for me as an outlander. This was very thoughtful on the bagger's part and very honorable on the manager's part as I'm sure she could have just blown us off as passers-by. But they took care of us and for that I vow to stop by on my way back and spend some money in this place. read more

The service here is fine, I've never had a problem with staff being friendly and helpful. The only thing that continues to bother is the fact that they have the worse shopping carts and they are old and they never have paper bags. I don't care for plastic bags, especially since they are leas desirable and if I have to pay for a bag, I rather it be paper. read more

The only reason I give this grocery store a 3 is because of its' prices. Ralphs is the closest grocery store to us, so it makes it super convenient to go here when you need something quick. As for big grocery shopping, we have done it here and paid almost double as opposed to Winco or Stater Brothers. With that in mind though, this location is nice. The store is always clean, associates are friendly, and it is conveniently located right off the freeway. If you are going to pick something up real quick, it's awesome. Try not to stock up here unless you want to pay a fortune! read more

While the employees that handle the curbside pick up are VERY NICE and HELPFUL, there are a couple employees inside the store that wear the REQUIRED MASK below their nose. It's toddler like behavior. Just went to this Ralph's location and I must say I'm extremely disappointed. Today there were ZERO cashiers available. The ONLY option available is self checkout. Ralph's has been trying in earnest to eliminate jobs as much as possible and quite frankly I'm tired of it. Every visit here is as pleasant as their employees. The transients that would hang around seem to be all gone which is great!! I had a few cakes done by this bakery and each time I'm 100% satisfied. This past Saturday Christine from the bakery called me to ask if I could come see the cake before my pickup time because she wasn't too sure if I would like it. I was thankful that she communicated with me but the cake came out just fine and everyone loved it!! read more

I'm extremely upset that it took 28 minutes for me to get checked out. Only 1 cashier open and even the self checkout had a line. If I want to bag my own crap then I'll go to food 4 less and save a ton of money. I come here because I love the customer service but that has changed. Stop trying to implement these self checkouts so abruptly and keep cashiers employed. I have been very loyal to this store for 15 years and that's about to change. This grocery store is right by my place and its right off of the 210 freeway, so it is very convenient for me. I come to this store on a weekly basis and I love the costumer service. There is always someone on the floor that not only offers assistance but also greets you. The staff is generally very nice and helpful. There are great sales on a weekly basis not only for the produce but for the seasonal goods that Ralphs brings in. Their flower department is amazing as well, they always have a large variety of fresh flowers as well as herbs. I totally recommend this store to anyone that lives near by. read more
