I've been coming here for the past several years and I like it a lot more now that it has been remodeled. It really needed a makeover. The fruits and veggies look healthier and brighter now that it has a different look. =) They have a variety of plants and flowers which I appreciate. The employees are super nice and are always looking to help you out. Who does that these days?! They do! Tip: In case you are in need of a quick lunch or dinner, pick up their fried chicken or rotisserie chicken. It's yummy! Considering that I'm not a fried chicken kinda gal, I had to share it with you. I have done drive up several times due to having two small children, and time constraints. Every time that I have ordered drive up there has been some thing wrong with my order. Today I came home with 5 items of spoiled produce. The last time I came home with spoiled meat. It definitely teaches me a lesson to not do drive up through this Ralph's ever again. read more

This review is for the behavior of one particular manager. Complained to Mike supposedly day manager on 5/13 as I had gotten 2 gallons of organic whole milk on 5/11 only to find out that both gallons were already 3 days expired dated 5/8 when I purchased it tru clicklist/ curbside pick up. This is milk for my kids! I say supposed manager because he did not act line one. I was treated very poorly. He was in a hurry, apparently getting off shift. This is around noon. He said that is unlikely to happen at his store. Unlikely that I got expired milk. He could at least apologize, I understand sometimes this things happen but he's also saying I'm a liar?! I got the receipt and 2 gallons of expired milk to show for it. Just horrible! He was short and rude. No training at all. I've been a customer at this Ralphs highland/ daycreek for over 10 yrs. I would not be writing this review bec of the expired milk but because of how horrible I was treated. I felt so disrespected. It's not right that I was sold this expired product. But to bring it to his attention and be called a liar, that is just unbelievable! Another person I talked to Sharon, apologized right away for my experience. I just recently found out about ClickList. You go on your Ralphs app and grocery shop online. You select a time to pick up and call the number on the sign. They 2 delightful associates will come out and load all of your groceries in the car for you. Literally takes less than 5 minutes. This has been our local store for the last 10 years. I feel like my kids grew up here. The store is nice, the staff is friendly, and there's always fresh fruits & veggies. Never an issue to pop in for some quick balloons or flowers for that special occasion. Some things are a bit pricey, compared to say Wal-Mart, but they do have frequent specials on different items and send out coupons and occasional cash back, so you can save if you're diligent. My only negatives are the same as everything else in this area and have nothing to do with the store, but everything to do with the area becoming way too crowded and over-run the last few years. It can be very dangerous in this parking lot during peak hours & weekends, especially at night, both getting in and out off of Highland (too much cross-traffic from Wendy's and speeders coming both ways), and in the lot itself there are often speeding cars almost taking out pedestrians, which the lot shares with Starbucks, Wells Fargo, Subway, Menchies, a drycleaner, etc, so tons of in and out traffic. It's no wonder I guess since developers have built tons of high-density apartments all around Victoria Gardens, which is right up the street, and they continue to build tons of houses on every available corner lot they can find. It's turning into a mini-LA. read more

I Called the seafood Dept. To order swai fish. Spoke to Thomas the manager for that Dept. I wanted 2 lb and he assure me he did have enough swai thawed and ready to fried when I come. Because they can't fried it prior. So I went there within 10 mins. Only to find out they had no swai ready. Thomas tell another worker to pull the frozen swai. Because a lady call for swai. When I got there it would take 15 mins to defrost and another 10 minutes to fried. I asked to speak with him. Only to fine out he was already clocked out for the day. Then another manager came and could not provide a satisfactory service for my inconvenience. You could just imagine How hot I was. This effing manager lied!!!And I drove all the way there especially in a time like this When covid19 is in full effect. I will never go back to that Ralph!!! Worst Customer service. Just moved to the neighborhood and this is the closest grocery store. We could not find the packed laundry detergent and so I went in to get some. Without a bother, one the cashiers just finished checking out someone and walked me to the aisle...not knowing I never been in the store before...Hey, this is great! The store is clean and very organized. They also have a place to make sandwiches and other items for take home. I look forward to walking the aisles with my wife. Oh yeah, Starbucks across the parking lot. Much cleaner and organized than the grocery store nearest Lido Island, where we used to shop. read more

This used to be our everyday grocery store. However, they've really been doubling down on the automation aspect of checking out. It hasn't lowered the prices at all, and I'm not interested in replacing workers with computers. We used to do 60% of our shopping here. Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Albertsons and Stater Bros made up the other 40%. Now, maybe we'll do 2% of our shopping here if we need something that only they carry. Albertsons got rid of their self-check out stands, so we shop there more now. read more

Amanda in the produce department is fantastic. The grapes in the pre packaged containers were not looking great and when I asked her if they had any others in the back she went so far above and beyond what she needed to do that I was blown away. Guest service is critical in building relationships. Building relationships is a necessity in growing a brand. She gets that and because of her we will drive past the 2 other Ralph's by our house and go to this one now. read more

I have been coming to this Ralphs for 4 years now and Its always a Heavenly Neighborhood experience. The Cashiers and Managers are always kind and polite. I had to review this store because Ive never had a bad experience and Today was the day to tell my neighbors. Lets start with my Cashier, a youngman named Alec, which was my cashier and bag person(by the way my girst time seeing him here). Alec Rang me up all while asking about my day and moving rapidly to make sure everything was done in a timely fashion and as though my groceries and day mattered to him. Then there comes along to make sure all is well and assist, A Mrs. Norma, Manager I believe. She assured him that she was there to help him and like magic my groceries were finished being bagged up, and she said it with such fun and care..... MADE MY DAY!!!!. We are all smiling and im thinking to myself... WOWWWW, Store is Clean, Team works together... and Never an unpolite situation in this store....wow they know that some people come to their store and just want to shop and feel like they are appreciated and Feel the warmth. I had the pleasure of watching a happy team. I love Ralphs for all of their Quality workers, Their Cleanliness and How fresh their produce is. A very pretty young lady with a big messy bun always helps us and is super friendly. She has brown hair and a great smile. Her bun is huge. We always do big grocery shops here once or twice a month and she's always very patient and friendly. You just don't get customer service like that anymore. It means a lot when the cashier is nice and chatty because a lot of the time cashiers will make you feel like a burden. This was our go-to store since it was so close. But in recent months I've been getting totally ripped off. Their signage is so deceiving. I bought a nice plant for a friend from the florist area and saw it was on sale so I was even happier...get to checkout & rings up regular price. Checker had a bagger go check it out & the florist says to him "oh that sign is for the two lower shelves." Well then don't put a big, vaguely written sign in between the assorted plants! The following week I stopped by to grab beer for Sunday football & was skeptic when I saw how low the price was. I looked closer to make sure there was no " buy 4 to get the low price of..." BS on the sign & there wasn't! Sweet! Get to the checkout & sure enough, I needed to buy 3 others to get that price! I'm not sure if the remodel is screwing up the signage but I'm over it. No more Ralph's for our family. And quite frankly, if I needed 4 or more of one item then I'd go to Costco. We shouldn't have to miss out on deals because we have a family of 3 & buy in moderation. The manager lady at this Ralphs store needs to learn to listen to a consumer complaint rather than argue with the customer with end result of losing an entire sale plus the customer. The issue a simple matter of a sale sign on grapes. Huge sign says "Grapes $.88/lb over a shelf with red and green grapes. At the register they're ringed up at $1.99/lb. so I point out the descrepency and the clerk gets the manager. She heads over and shows me a real small sign on the side of the counter that says red grapes are $1.99. It was the attitude that not only cost the rest of the sale and this customer. Its fair to say that obviously the signage made me think all the grapes were on sale... Not uncommon in supermarket psychology - right? And we are talking about a few dollars, but not in the mind of this Nazi like manger - she wouldn't bend at all saying "show me whatever signs you want".... and refusing to even acknowledge the confusion. So maybe she was right, but that right and attitude was wrong because no sale and no more customer. Add that up over the years and deduct from her salary and maybe she'll understand the value of being nice to a long time customer. read more

I had terrible experience here today. Never buy the pre-made Holiday Turkey Dinner from the Deli. The ad has picture of a "Home Cooked" full meal. Nothing could be further from than the truth! They said all I had to do was heat up the turkey for 2 hours. Everything came frozen solid! Even the Turkey package said 4-5 hours to cook. Everything else was like a frozen dinner. We had to prepare the whole thing. I could have made everything for half the money and less time. Don't get fooled like me. Not to mention since I was told it only had to "warm-up" for 2 hours, we ended up having to eat 3 hours later. Ralph's Deli Should be ashamed of themselves not only for false advertising, but knowing people are buying this for a holiday gathering! Shame on you!!!!!!! read more

Not a big selection of fresh meats, but they do have a good produce selection. The customer service is lacking a little bit here. Takes a while to track someone down to help you with something, and if you need to buy anything from the locked liquor cabinet, be prepared to wait a few minutes for someone to open it for you. Today I went to Ralph's to get a monster sandwich. There were no monster sandwiches. I asked two employees and the bakery manager if they could make one for me. One of the ladies didn't know. The other lady said no. They called the bakery manger and she said "I am off work,if you would like, someone will be here by 4pm. I said no thank you. I will call the store. I come to this store very often as it is the closest to my home. The store is ok, sometimes I see cashiers who are not that happy, well anyway, I use that store because of convenience. Well, I came to their pharmacy today to get my prescription. The woman with name something like Francy was there. I gave her my prescription, ID and insurance card. She started the process. Then she said that my adress on my insurance doesn't match with their system. I said that I have been many times there and never have had a problem. She told me to wait. I said to her that I m going to grocery shoping while she is putting all information together. When 15 minutes later I came back, I saw that she wasnt there. Well, she was leaving as her shift was over. She was walking out and saw me, and briefly said to another woman that my adress doesn't match. Then that woman with name Katrina asked me what do I need. I said to her that I left all info and waiting for my medicine. She asked for my ID, insurance again! So I guess previous one didn't bother to do her job and was on rush to leave. She said that I have to wait another 15 minutes and she need to take care of the person behind me..!!! Well, my husband meanwhile was calling to our insurance agent and asking why they are harassing me over the adress. Our agent said that it is totally nonsense. The day before I used that exact insurance card with the doctor and it wasnt any problem. Both women did not make their job right. One wanted to leave without passing the info , and another one was extremely rude. The second one made me to wait 30 minutes for nothing just enjoing the moment. I wrote an email to the Kroger Corporate about that experience. I hope someone will talk to them about their unprofessional behavior and teach them to treat customers with respect. read more
